You don't have to use gel. You can use Motions lavish conditioner and leave it in for the rest of the day :D

U look great with your hair like that I do a small headband with it pushed back but twisting toma I have to wash every 2-3 days rather it's normal r not I itch so bad I have to and at week 5 it's working for me!!!

It took you 7 months to decide to do the BC? OMG! once you did the big chop, it did not look like you left much hair on your head. Don't get me wrong it is cute but it does leave me feeling depressed. I have only been transitioning for 4 months and eventually I want to do the BC, but I want more hair on my head. I just hope it dont take two years to get enought hair to do the chop at the lenght the I would be comfortable with. After 7 months your hair should have been longer huh? Help me!

@kimberllowe hey there..my hair was longer than it appeared..that was a coil out that i had..so as soon as i did the chop i got a coil out..so that is why it appears short..I was 2 strand twisting my hair a week after the chop..so i hope thats a more accurate image.. dont be discouraged..everyone's hair grows at different rates as well..worry about health more so than length it will grow like a charm

@mw457 oooo im glad u asked tht...I did a wash n go today..and if i look close i have a lil bit of a white residue on one side...I think if u use too much of it that happens..u may wanna take ur head back under the water for like a quick product rinse after u use it..and yes my hair is crunchy but not untouchable

when the gel dries take your hands and rub it across your hair...you have to do it after your hair is completely dry...do it once or twice...but it will soften your hair and will not disturb the curls! HTH!

Hair looks great!!! You may also want to try Long Aid Activator Gel. Gives a soft hold, shine, AND well defined curls! I had tried it a few weeks ago and didn't "love" it, but tried it again today after a wash n go...amazing!!! I'm glad I gave it a second chance! It's not sticky, gummy, greasy or hard!!!

As my hair grows I plan to keep using it periodically, especially as I get more fullness with my curls.
