Srt-4 Dyno loud turbo spool

HELP!!! can anyone tell me where the ecu is located on a 2004 dodge neon? Everything Electric is not working... No blinkers, power windows, power door locks, radio, A/C, EVERYTHING (minus the power steering/brakes) ... My dads mechanic said disconecting the ECU and cleaning the contacts can possibly solve this problem. and now i cant get a hold of the mechanic ... ALSO, if you have any other suggestions as to what the problem could be PLEASE help

@BBREntertainment pop the hood there is a metal silver /black box with heat sink on it with a large wire harness connected to it, it is located right by the driverside headlight behind the radiator should be bolted up to the frame, maybe hidden by intake plumbing etc this is as it is on a srt-4 at least.

i think you intercooler is too big for that turbo. cause if your intercooler is to big and the turbo is smaller and the motor is a 4 banger you will lose power cause the turbo can't fill the intercooler fast enough to make high psi or boost. and you might have a leak. i have a SC THUNDERBIRD and my intercooler is not that big and its a v6. your car does seem to build up boost fast so i think your intercooler is way to big.

hondas and turbos dont get along very well after a short time BOOM ..but if you want a year out of it or less go for it ...srts can make damn near 350hp on stock turbo with the right setup and it last for ever...reliable stock and decently fast..and i have owned both and i hate on nither one..

Thats sounds like my buddys SRT-4 i t turned out to be a bad gasket for the intake manifold..and the bolts on it were loose.. We tightened them and it stop for awhile then it started coming back, might need new bolts as well..

No offense, clean Skittle.. But that spool isn't shit. My buddy has a Mopar Stage 3 kit. Ported and clipped Mitsu TDO5H - Big 16G on 28psi. ZERO knock counts with water injection. He made 373whp and 423 torque at the wheels on 112.

turbos use the exhaust flow to spin a turbine housed by 2 parts one that spun by exhaust the other creates suction and forces air into the engine, an audible spool from the turbo is fantastic, it means the turbo is doin its job and that motor is getting a ton of air. in most cases

standalone is a computer that runs the show that is not the factory comp, like AEM makes one, the AEM will now do all of the communication to the cars electronics such as fuel air spark etc..and the factory ecu is now trashed standalone alows for more tweaking by the user and great for heavily moded cars. factory ecu is like whats a 700 cc injector doing in here, AEM will know
