Look on Youtube for Mike Harrah for the world's most powerful truck. Not practical for any commercial use but fun to see. It's for the show circuit. It will be towing a custom polished aluminum trailer with one of Mike's exotic toys. The 3,000 + horsepowere engine is wicked. The totally custom crewcab Peterbilt is nearing completion. And btw. i Drive a Scania R420 and Volvo FH 16 450 and they was both ok but i like Actros or DAF XF SSC a little bit more ;)

lol seriously u are the first to hear about this problem in new R730 engine.you fckin believe what u hear..obviously.you never drove it to see it alone.

you know what else was known? 4 serie cabs were shit in confort and every small rock made it go up and down like freak.NO.its a lie.i have been in a cab of 4 serie and its more confortable thant our FH16 shit one.

Also,scania 2 series had problem with shifting gears..a lie too!you just dont need to start at high rpm in slow gears.

@kikutoR my dad was driving scania 142 420 v8,till 2003 and even these times it was yet powerfull..here in greece we got lot of hills..i have felt the power of v8 u havent,so u cant just talk.

ur FH12-16 moddels are so poor running on hills..scania never felt pain in the ass,24T marble and still hard to die..now we own a fh16 unfortunatelly because we hadnt money for a 4 serie,and my dad is tired of changing down gears in every step hill.

Just try to stay in a Volvo only two weeks. All Volvo has a very small cab. You can fell yourself in the jail. If you want to watch your laptop you can`t find any straight place on the board to put that down.

The self is at your head. I will be ill if I am think about the Volvo.

To driving the Volvo quiet good. The automatic gear is perfect.

But the interior.....that is crap.

We have an FH16 1000BHP near us. The company have had it for about a year now & use it for pulling abnormal loads.

Always trailers when they wants to show of.... try a 60 tons truck and trailer instead with dubble decker config on both truck and trailer than we can talk.... only 20 horses more than the R730 but Scania had actually during the developing of its engine put out more than 900 hp so I rest my case...

@DjDannyLawd I hate to take sides, both Scania and Volvo are great trucks. However this is a race Scania cannot win. They simply dont have the resources to constantly top volvos new engines. Whenever scania releases a new engine, volvo will have an answer within a few months time. Scania is a small company compared to volvo, and it will cost too much to stay in the lead, and for no reason.

Scania is virtually nonexistant in markets outside europe, for example north america, which is a huge market. Its a small company, owned by VAG, and they arent really interested in winning a horsepower race.

Took several years for Scania to release the R730, took less than 6 months for volvo to top it.
