I wish George Hotz could renumber the OS to 3.2X (x being any other number besides 1). The bypass feature didn't work and i was forced to update after a hard disk upgrade i performed right on the day the software was released :(

If I update my ps3 firmware, can I restore my ps3 firmware back to its default setting later? Also, will that bring my other OS back?

@AgentCell no once you update to 3.21 your os is gone forever! don't update & wait for cfw. there is no way to downgrade firmware yet. it is on flash not your hdd. that is why switching hdd or trying to use sandisk with 3.15 won't work.

With no return of Other OS is of course Unacceptable. Some of you dont care.... because you never use linux or dont need it but hear my warning... This will only be the start of what Sony can do. Maybe in time, the online gaming will cease to be free and will become more of xbox live.
And gaming online is in fact part of advertising PS3 witch Other OS feature also once was part of.
Search on Facebook for Removal of "Other OS" feature, on PS3 is unacceptable
