i got a OXM disc for fightign the large salamander badass which was epic. i mean epic, i first shot rocket louanchers at its back and blew off its legs then got on its back, shot it point blank and then went inside it, blasted it form the inside, then finnaly died :P this is also cool lol

the PS3 version has two extra levels, i just played co-op with a guy from japan LOL, they are called VS by the way, this game made a huge leap from Lost planet 1, witch i have for the PS3, its regular online but sometimes you have great fun moments i guess the online battle on this one is gonna ROCK

WONDERFUL! Ever considered E-mailing Capcom and telling them to implement the option of making the crosshair like regular third person shooters where it doesn't move from the middle??? Alot of ppl would feel more comfortable wit dat. I don't want this game 2 FAIL @ release. We could also tell them it would b good if they could put in local Co-Op.

That option is already in. You just need to look in the options menu in game and you can set it so that the cross hair is locked to the center of the screen.

And @ Nexus, how is the PS3 Demo longer exactly? I haven't played it so I don't know if they've added anything on top of the 360 one.

Yh, I spoke b4 I even played the demo. I was observing gameplay vids all the time.

Now th@ i've played the demo (PS3), I've seen the option, but it's not verry efficient. I set the crosshair movement ti 0, and the crosshair stops moving left and and is limited to the middle and the right direction.

The demo is exclusive to XBOX 360 I believe, not even the PC users get to play with it. Though the game should be released within the next few months, as the release date was scheduled for Winter this year.

Yeah Lost Planet 2 is shaping up to be a brilliant co-op experience game, though the confrontations won't be limited to the -small- Salamander you fight in the demo. You'll fight much bigger things and also the Pirates (previously named Snow Pirates in LP1) for control of the planet E.D.N. III and the valuable resource known as Thermal Energy (T-Eng for short).

P.S. You can fight inside that thing...
