  • This was the time with Bernie as we walked home from school. She was such a sweetheart of a girl.

  • what a song ! what a pianist ! PERFECT voice ! THIS MAN IS TALENT ON LOAN FROM GOD !

  • I signed your petition, and I commend you for your efforts! He really shouldn't be overlooked. Neil is amazing!!!

  • neil sedaka u r the best this is my favorite song!

  • I just gave everybody a thumbs up... hehehe!!

  • neil is great

    歌詞がやばい。泣ける

  • Happy 70th birthday, Neil! This is my personal favorite Neil Sedaka song!

  • Great voice and song. BUT, why all this time did I think a woman was singing this song? Hmm

  • LOL. Probably because it's been covered so many times!! I know Martha Wash covered it. Her rendition is amazing but I also love the original.

  • I have signed the petition also. However, I also believe that inductees into the HOF are purely political. Another great musical artist from the past who deserves to be inducted alongside Neil Sedaka is Johnny Rivers. However, neither of these gentlemen's places in our hearts and memories aren't affected by whether or not there is an induction. Thank you for a lovely video.

  • I cant believe Neil Sadak isnt already in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame !

What, do you have to be Dead to get in first ?

Carl Slicer, Rockville, CT (Home of the Rockville Rocket.)

  • This is one of those dream songs. there's no other song like it. This is so BEAUTIFUL!! Martha Wash did an AMAZING cover of it as well. If anyone finds it, please post!! :)

  • It is all political. Petitions will not make an inductee. Sad but true!

I would have thought Neil would have already been in the HOF. He is amongst many other GREAT non-inductees.

The HOF is lame....truly it is. No one truly gives a shit who is in it.

  • I think perhaps it has been an issue of image in the past. He's too nice a guy which isn't always to your credit in the world of Rock n Roll. Also I think that over the years he has been regarded by each generation as belonging to a prior one.

Be that as it may, it's a scandal that he's not already been inducted. A great voice, a great musician and arranger and he would have to be in the top 10 songwriters of the last 75years. Sadly he's also in the top 10 most underrated too.

  • The genius of Neil does not nedd of Hall of Fame or any !!

  • No, he doesn't need it... but it should be a great honor. He has been underrated too much too many times.

    Thanks for the comment! ;)

  • Jann Wenner can only be embarrassed that NEIL SEDAKA and most of the Brill Building participants are not in the Hall of Fame while Madonna and Leonard Cohen already have been inducted... Of course, no one knows where Rolling Stone is, its address or if its building has any history. But Sedaka and co always have 1619 Broadway, sitting there in all its splendor between 49th and 50th Streets, a living landmark. It will be there long after the whole debacle of the Hall of Fame is a distant memory.
