It's interesting to see the change in Zakharova as she's gotten older. I'm used to footage of her from 2004, where her interpretation of this dance is radically different from this time, which was fairly recent. It's more subtle, relaxed and even content, as if Odette is simply enjoying the moment of having someone (Siegfried) be there for her. But in small details she's still a bit wary, always on the lookout for Rothbart. Bravo Svetlana, bravo Bolshoi!
