Some parents like me are in a bind when it comes to feeding kids. Parents don't want their kids to starve, or have nosy busy bodies in their business. Sometimes kids just don't eat what you want them to eat you can't just not give them food or you will have some dumb neighbor accuse you of starving your kids. Parents don't want to feed them this stuff all the time, but what would you do if your child won't eat anything else. Time outs, and taking things away just don't work sorry.

The problem is far more complex then what some people make it out to be, though the other issues have been there from the start. However Americans were not always so fat so instead of looking at what didn't change we should look at what did change.

Portions in America have gotten way out of hand, in a "free" market system if one business increases portion sizes and sales more the others have to follow in order to survive. Super sizes spread.
