I thought the movie was awful. Really a pale version of the book. I was really disappointed. The fact that they spoke english was one of the minor problems. The acting was disastrous, just look at John Leguizamo... it seemed like he could'nt decide between speaking english or spanglish. Ponele que es una película estadounidense basada en un libro colombiano, el productor y los actores son gringos. Ahí sí, se justificaría el uso del inglés, pero con hispanos? ¿Los puso para que se vieran bonitos y hablaran inglés con acento?

Yo he leído el libro cerca de 5 veces, y por más que lo lea mil veces nunca perderá la magia tan misteriosa y exótica que Gabo pudo darle, es todo un placer leer esta historia! Espero con ansiedad la película, y que ésta llene todas las expectativas.
