  • i have travelled from pluto to earth since 1975, i finally arrived at the exact right moment to hear the leipzig-s!

  • I too like my analog synths but the older i get i think they like me more.

  • this is simply beautiful, makes me crave for the analogue gear i used to have :-((

  • yeah! awsome!

  • Bwoah, this has the "BONG!" of the big ones :)

    And a very cool song!

Is the second sequence at around 2:50 the Telemark?

  • @Barelinio thanks for the comment :-D ... yes, what you hear at 2:50 and on is the Telemark sequenced by a Doepfer A-155 sequencer (didn't have my Oberkorn then). I'm very fond of Analogue Solutions synths esp. Telemark - they all have a wonderful analogue 'edge'.

  • @jakobsweb

    Tolle Demonstration :)

Wie oder womit hast du den Leipzig getriggert?

  • @Barelinio hah! 'Bong of the big ones.' That puts into words nicely what I've been looking for in a synth ever since I sold my Pro-One years ago. I'm going to have to look harder at this baby.

  • Great sound !!!

  • @beckhusen herzlichen Dank :-)

  • very nice demonstration, and like the tune. ;-) The close ups are good, but we need some wide angle view in there too!

  • @VJFranzK thanx for your comment. My intention is to give good quality sound examples of a synth, in particular presenting it in a musical context. I use the cam of my mobile phone for the visuals which are not my focus in here but a YouTube necessity. So my possibilities are restricted in that respect. I will keep your request in mind though for the next vid and am glad you mentioned it to me :-)

  • Is the Leipzig-S identical to the Leipzig-k apart from the keybed and the sequencer? Does it have the same sound shaping potential/sound engine? In my humble opinion, these Leipzig synths have some of the very best sounds out of the current real analogue synths, from what I can tell on Youtube anyway.

  • @JeromeLebelMusic Hi, thank you for your comment. I don't have a Leipzig-k for direct comparison. The basic sound should be the same, but the shaping possibilities do seem quite different - and there must be a reason why Tom Carpenter created the Leipzig-s :-). The S-version seems the more advanced in detail. It's not only the sequencer as such but what you can do with it in terms of routing. Please do check them out personally - the videos here can only give a very small hint.

  • @jakobsweb Thank you very much!!

  • @JeromeLebelMusic very welcome. don't hesitate to ask if you have further questions.

  • i love it when simple demos turn out to just be awesome music :D

    well done!

  • @foreverwii thanks so much :-)

  • Very cool video! The sound you got out of the Telemark was great.

  • @tooll666 thank you for your comment. The Telemark is one of the most versatile analogue synthesizers I know (...and I know quite a few :-))

  • There it is...the Leipzig-s....and before the weekend! :) Lovely video of some monster synths in action. Great tune and vid. Thumbs Up.

  • @rezfilter Thank you J. ... Tom ows you big since - like me - I'm sure many buy AS synths because of your inspirational videos.
