  • If you are not an adoptive parent, you have no clue, not even a hint. Adoptive parents will smile a small smile and agree:

Blood, a family does not make

Nor the candles on a birthday cake

    Only love from the heart

    Causes a family to start

  • thankyou for replying, I am glad that there are people like you. You should be proud.

  • could i ask what age you were when they told you?i am interested in adoption.

  • I have always known I was adopted. I can specifically remember this one time I was really little, like 3 years old. My mom brought me onto her bed and it was just me and her. And she told me she loved me more than anything and that God brought me to her and that even though she didn't "have me," she was glad to have me now.... She has always said that there was a reason God intervened in my life before I was even born. I'm really glad my parents never tried to hide it from me or my sister.

  • why are there so many haters of adoption. I don't get it. It is the best blessing to any baby. Even if the mother is being "selfish" she is giving the best blessing that could be given.

  • I suggest reading the book The Primal Wound. Adoptive Parents would not want their worth to be measured by what posessions we have, so we shouldn't measure a First Parent's worth by what they could or couldn't provide either. Children need love and many women who surrendered their babies had loads of love--they just didn't have the money at the time and no one to help them. I went from one great family to another great family. Not every adoptee was "redeemed" from something.

  • are you even a human fatboyblitz?

  • My name is Wandy,I'm an adoption search angel volunteer and your video has touched me it was simply beautiful!

  • "have all these kids..." My twin and I were adopted when we were babies. My brother is three years younger than me. My parents tried to have children but couldn't at the time. My birthmother made a mistake, and gave us up to an adoption agency. I think about her every day and someday will thank her for not ending our lives.

  • you have a little brother too?

if he is your brother, i just think thats so lovely, i would always consider adoption.

  • Yeahhh :) My parents thought they couldn't have children after a few years of trying so they adopted my twin and I. Three years later, they had my brother. It was such an answered prayer!

  • I loved you video. My husband and I have adopted twins.
