So does this mean that Sara is going to do a meet up with HawkEye, Ken, and Mtn Campr and eat some Strawberry pie and Fried Mush? And better not be dissin' Shug or the haints in the Big Trench will come visit your hammock at nite...and bring a bucket load of rain just for added fun. LOL
Gorge Rats are pretty protective of the Linville Gorge, but they are more than willing to share it with other adventerer types Sara.
Just pack your pack, and head across the country and earn a Gorge Rat patch!
Willow plane who would have though of that :DD Funny video! You have so steady shots with the camera. Can you tell me what kind of video equipment you use. and how you shoot so steady shots with it? I just ordered my first modern video camera. Ive shooted with dslr to this day and its tough job to do atleast for me with no autofocus etc.
@Bushwhittler Thank yo so much for the wonderful comments : ) I have a DXG 5B1v HD ( It's similar to Radio Shack products) that I got at Macy's online with some gift cards I had. And I have a pocket tripod that I sometimes lash to sticks and stuff, thats it. I just try to keep it steady and I use the You Tube video editor to steady things up. Congrats on getting a new camera, I couldn't imagine using something without auto focus. Thanks again : ) Sara
@steintanz Yes, rats, rats, and more rats. It was bound to happen though. As you know, you get a bunch of them together and and all they do is start propagating like crazy. Even more scary is that they are starting to evolve. I hear in some places. they bring there own nests and hang them from the trees : )
Nice video Sara. Linville Falls/Gorge is a wonderful place. You should visit, and don’t forget to stop at Louise’s Rock House Restaurant for some good home cooked food :-)
@RallohE Thank you once again Michael, I'm so glad you like it : ) I'll probably make it there by fall if the weather holds and I don't travel at night. The Mississippi might slow me down a bit, depends what kind of materials I find for the boat, Just watch for a platinum blond bag lady with the Gorge Rat patch walking down the road : ) Just kidding of course,
