Come on guy, let's face the truth with this. This entire affair is nothing but an Ontario based power grab in the strongest sense of the word.
If this coalition's goal was to force an election, that's one thing; however, to carry this out for nothing other than a power grab is another thing. We elected a government, not a ramshackle coalition made of socialists, separatist and power hungry zealots. This is not democratic in any sense.
The CBC has had a long tradition of supporting the Liberal party, regardless of the issue. I like Rex Murphy, but I totally disagree with him on this one. Except for the coalition, I agree with him there.
It's perhaps telling that the member parties of the newly formed coalition would be unable to function without public funding of their parties. This gives new meaning to the idea that you get the government you pay for, except that if you're a Conservative tax payer, your tax dollars are being used to fund the opponents.
