i nearly died in the mosh pit to this song.........i was about to be trampled to death when a friend caught me falling (falling falling into darkness)......
fuck it was good live, pulsing red background to the band
real band not that shit you fuckin teens listen to today take your ipods and ipads and go read a book and ny an actual record and take time to listen and apriciate the money and time it takes to creat music,,,music is not made on protools fuck you and all the shit rap music and indy hipster keyboard band they are all fake and they no it
I can't tell how many times this music use to calm and relax me after having a bad day as a teen...Truly this is the music that calms the savage beast.
I remember seeing these guys play at my university in the early 90's. Just before they played this song 30 mins into the set, Jeff said to teh audience "I reckon the drugs must be kicking in about now". And the riff started. Needless to say the crowd went nuts. Priceless.
@FamousSnatcher belated reply but here goes, The Tea Party taken a break indefinately( which sucks ) .. Jeff is living in Western Australia working with the local music scene here aswell as still making albums with The Armada, Solo Work here & there and currently on tour with perth based band Jeff Martin 777.
You could say hes kept himself busy post tea party
it sucks more people don't know of this band, but millions listen to nickleback. Can kroger come up with a decent vocal pattern and riff at all??? bullshit. ah well, a secret pleasure for the restuvus!
Yeah well this is the mid 90's. thats when alternative rock was at its peak. Nickleback cant touch these guys. soundgarden, AIC, the tea party, stone temple pilots.... amazing bands were formed.

They broke up. More's the pity. I guess it was a surprise to both the bassist and the drummer too.

Dude! I just realized... the last phrase, "This is the way, step inside," came from Joy Division's "Atrocity Exhibition."
