  • dam I'm going to go to BCT Jan. 2012 for 37F. I'm skinnier than most guys in the pictures. Will I be kinda screwed no matter how hard I work?

  • OPSEC says, "It ain't secret if you broadcast it." take down your info.

  • How does someone qualify for this MOS? I've been told it's not an entry level job, but it seems like it's really interesting.

  • This is psy opts at it best! see what it gets you!

  • What is the third song? The Bon Jovi-like voice? I love it!

  • @RadAndRandom Nevermind.. just realized it IS Bon Jovi.. haha oops.

  • If PSYOPS/MISO is no longer considered Spec Ops, what has it fallen under? Also, since it is not considered an entry-level MOS, what would be the best MOS to start with in order to move to 37F? 35M?

  • God I thought i was going to watch a good video then some asstard redneck song starts playing JESUS H CHRIST!

  • It's not PSYOP anymore: it's MISO. Military Information Support to/and Operations.

  • @StormyMcCloud

Everytime I hear that it makes me want soup! I get the need for the name change, but I still can't call it MISO yet.

  • @StormyMcCloud really! I did not know that. wow. things change fast. I miss PSYOP. I hate my new unit.

  • This brings back memeries...I was in Psyop class 0504. The name is ANDERSON!!!! HOOAH!!!! Anyone in my class as well as 0505 remembers me!(LOL)

  • how long is 37F's AIT??

  • @3153dee About 12 weeks.

  • can women be a psyop?

  • @summerloveox The smaller Soldiers with long hair pulled back in a bun, with boobs... those were women. So, yes.

  • i just enlisted as a psywarrior looking foward to it hooah!

  • This is former PV2 McCahn. Not sure if any members of this class will see this, but I do regret that I am not able to be alongside you. It was certainly an experience that I am grateful to have had. I wish all of you the best of luck and God bless!

  • "Drink water, change your socks, and you'll live forever" Gotta love Drill Sergeant Kennedy. I can't begin to tell you how much I learned from him. I doubt there will be another soul I will respect as much as I did him. God Bless all of our Soldiers!

  • I'd like to ask a question... Why are there a bunch of soldiers with messy bleeding IVs? Who was putting in those IVs? & is getting blood drawn some how part of the training for 37F? I ask because I'm considering this MOS... & I have a problem with needles I'll get over it but I just want to know a little more about why the IVs were done so poorly!! Thanks, awesome vid.

  • @EmRosERD The purpose of the IVs was to train the soldiers how to start an IV in case they needed to in the field. Many times, Medi-vac cannot get there fast enough and soldiers need to start IV fluids.

  • @WhiskeyGirl613 Thank you replying!! :) Did everyone practice on each other/ themselves? ..Let me just get down to it.. If I was going through this training as a 37F would -I- have to have IVs practiced on me?

  • @EmRosERD If they still do this training, then yes. Everyone had to participate...and we did not get to choose our partners. Best of luck to you!

  • I've got a request from a family member to try and download a copy of this video for burning to disc for grandparents etc. Any chance you could make that available? John

  • What you can do is use Mozilla for your web browser, then download "download Helper" (its free) at the top of the screen you can download Youtube Vids for free, then convert to whatever you want, hope that helps.

  • Usamericans get out from Afghanistan, Pakistan and Irak. Remember yesterday only 8 dies because you dont respect autodetermination each land

  • @campeonpp That made no sense...

  • i just Graduated there 01-10 HOOAH!

  • Does national guard have 37F?

  • @brownbag22 no they do not

  • @brownbag22

  • THIS MUSIC MAKES US LOOK FUCKING GAY.

  • no, being psyop makes you look fucking gay. but it could be worse, yo could always be CA, change MOSs and life can be better.

  • Training has changed quite a bit, got back not too long ago from there.

  • How has it changed? I'm shipping off in a couple of months for it.

  • this shit is so fucking creepy, those injections are giving you cancer. this is what you get for joining the killing and brainwashing school.

  • Salene gives you cancer! Holy SH*T. They better stop using that in every hospital in the World! Wow...so glad you know more than every scientist on the planet....or we may have caused more cancer!

  • But I like cancer. Its why I started smoking in the first place.

  • What type of training were you guys doing in the pool?

  • damn did you guys actually take your m-16's into the water or are those dummy rifles? Also, why was PSYOPS moved from special ops?

  • WTF!!!!

  • i think you have the coolest job on the planet, and i cant wait to try and join myself

  • Woah...is this Special Forces training? Are those Ranger chicks rolling around doing combatives? (I've seen the hit film _Basic_.)

  • No... this is the advanced training for our army job specialty which is psychological operations. We used to be under the umbrella of special operations which includes special forces, but as of a few months ago, we've been allocated elsewhere.

  • Is CA still under SOCOM? Can't find any information on whether the 4th POG or 95th CAB was moved from SOCOM.

  • @soulessflame

Hey, who is soulessflame? Someone from this class? Its Bone. dunno if you remember me.

  • What about PSYOP's on American Soldiers?

  • The US Army doesn't psyop our own citizens. We psyop in foreign countries. The US Army isn't the only organization with psyop capabilities though... so you might be thinking of something else.

  • oh yes they do and you just did by saying that.

btw whats with the notice video contains an audio track that has not been authorized by all copyright holders.

    who are these 'copyright holders'?

the tax payers own everyone in this vid and whatever they say and do. not youtube.

  • @soulessflame i would be surprised if you answerd it was haha

  • @soulessflame

OPERATIONS NORTHWOODS was psychological operations false flag event, whereby you were intending to hijack commercial planes, crash them into civilian/military buildings and blame it on Cuba.

You are TRAITORS and sooner or later your false flag 9/11 event will result in angry mobs burning you/yours alive, or having lawyers like me place you on trial and hanging you in the Nuremburg tradition. I PROMISE YOU, you will pay for what you did on 9/11.

  • Proud of being... awesome? Duh.

  • @massai86 what the fuck do you have to be proud of faggot?

  • Anyone know the required ASVAB score for 37F?

  • The ASVAB is just an average overall score. MOS requirements are based on different sections of the test. 37F requires a 105 ST (skilled technical) score.

  • but you also have to qualify on your DLAB test. Language test.

  • Not if your reserve. I am reserve and we dont have to take the DLAB unless we want to goto language school. Its not required, but its strongly suggested that you take the test. Its required for Active Duty.

  • No shit... Back when Perez wasnt in leavenworth pounding rocks and a SSG.

  • The "other" Q-Course, ha ha. I remeber kids saying that stuff in SWC. Starts you off on a bad foot.

  • You guys got lucky though because when I was there in 03 Drill Sgt.McCrann and Rose wouldnt let us go on our weekend passes without waxing the floors,we couldn't even go down to the PX.Thats cool you got to go to the Ranger obstacle course though,we diddn't.Does SFC Pelk still instruct?Language school can take up to a year at Monte Ray though, but I guess that depends on your score to see what language you qualify for.

  • whats the difference between BASIC and AIT??

  • Basic is the 9 week course that essentially teaches you all of the basic soldiering skills ie... rifle marksmanship, working in a team, dealing with high levels of stress, conditioning your body, being neat and orderly, etc etc...

AIT is the school you go to after basic which teaches you the skills you need to function in your MOS (military occupational specialty). They vary in length depending on the MOS, PsyOp being a 13 week course.

  • The Smith-Mundt Act (1948) prohibits use of PsyOps on US citizens.

This presents a bit of a problem now that the Bush admin thinks it needs to deal with domestic enemies in the war on terror.

  • Right... we don't PsyOp our own citizens... So what does your liberal bs have anything to do with this video?

  • US agencies have done SpyOps on US citizens in the past (COINTELPRO), they are doing it again in the war on terror (the Miami Seven's only contact with Al Qaeda was an FBI mole pretending to have contacts with AQ and was encouraging the Seven to commit terrorist acts) and they are eavesdropping on US citizens (prohibited by USSID 18).

  • so wut...everyone does psyop on American Citizens..ever seen a commerecial..ever seen the news

  • I just wanted to say thanks for posting this video. I ship out May 19th for basic and my MOS is PsyOps. This video has made me even more motivated toward and excited about AIT.

  • That's really awesome. Thanks for the feedback. Hooah

  • Damn its 1000 times different from when I went through in '99. Ahh Nasty Nick and Camp Mccall. Who are the drill instructors now at AIT? I had Drill Sgt Zick and I forget the 2 womens names, damn.

  • Im hoping to do psyop when i join the army at the end of this term probably.

can you tell me the difference with 37a and 37f? i know one is specialist and one is officer. which one is best?

  • Well... it's more of a matter whether you want to be a leader or not. And whether you'd rather lead from the front (noncommissioned) or lead from the rear (commissioned officer). 37a would pay more if that's what makes the job better for you.

  • thanks that was pretty helpful. im not very good with army terms, yet lol, but what do you mean with front or rear leading?

I'll probably go with 37a unless i see i could be a really good leader. we'll see:)

  • Haha... sorry. To put it simply, nco's care about the soldiers while co's carry about the mission.

You might want to strive for 37f for now. You don't just start off as an officer when you get in initially unless you have a degree. Otherwise, you can join up, do your time and eventually be able to go to officer candidacy school.

  • Ok thanks again. I guees ill look more into 37f then.

How long is your overall training before you are ready to be deployed? (bct, airborne i hear, what else?)

p.s. sry if i ask too many questions i just wanna know as much as i can before actually enlisting. thanks

  • bct is about 9 weeks. AIT is 13 weeks. airborne is 3 weeks, but you don't have to worry about airborne if you go reserve. Otherwise if you go active, unless you test out on a language, you can figure on going to language school at fort bragg for probably about a year or so (depends on the language). No worries about the questions. I'm happy to help.

  • im thinking of going active so airborne is on the plate.

well im fluent in Spanish...but i dont think that helps a whole lot. i was thinking in picking up some european language. or maybe an arab language since thats where it would seem to help

  • language doesn't last a year unless you're a dumbass...4-6 months

  • they don't let anything under Cpt...then you have to go through POOQ to qualify

  • Hey yall just Vegas checkin in.

  • Hooah.

  • It's good to see that SDS Kennedy is still up to the good work. That's one of the best soldiers in the Army right there. Yeah, PSYOP deploys quickly, especially for reservists. Most of the reservists in my class have already deployed or will be deploying this year. Just remember your training and things will be fine.

    Class 04-07 "Honor and Discipline"

  • whats going on from 1:07 to 1:30

  • We were all partnered up for that part of training. We learned how to stick syringes into veins, and we were hooking each other to IV bags.

  • looks like fun =/, i want to do ROTC and then go for 37A

  • 05-07 we gave you lambein...you're welcome. I heard you get back friday from airborne, we'll be looking for you at swc.

  • I was in 06-07 and DS Kennedy is just the coolest. Just fallow the rules and everything else is smooth sailing. They are right, deployment comes fast. 3 of us from that class are headed out at the end of this month. Good Luck

  • I'm in 02-08 right now DS Kennedy talks about you all all the time. He loved your class. Apparently you all did good things. Good luck with everything.

  • I'm really happy to hear that. I, like everyone else in my platoon, respected the hell out of this guy.

Good luck with everything. It'll pass by quick. Just don't fuck up too much.

Happy drill sergeants... happy privates. ;)
