  • I think it isn't related to racism at all...

By the way, even if it is an 'racist' song, it is 'racist' in a good way.

Indian as very brave, strong hearted and people who would protect their people.

  • OK I don't see whats so awful about this and I'm native.

  • Yeah indian ...must b from North East India somewhere

  • Oh my god this is so effing racist

  • LOL im pretty sure they didnt mean to be racist (that would be pretty idiotic in this day and age) but their ignorance made for a pretty hilarious vid :P im so singing and dancing this at my school talent show.

  • IT WAS MY OPION BEING "NATIVE" I dont FIND IT RACIEST

sooo.... LAY THE FUCK OFF!! :)

  • We shouldn't contemplate about racism in this song. I didn't feel any indignation from this song. They just used Indians to express the burning love. And the song is not scoffing Indians or anything... Considering what Americans have done to Indians, we should appreciate Korea for recognizing the Native Americans.

  • OMG, just enjoy the song, why put so much effort of being so deep about the mv especially it been out nearly three years??? =__= For Korea to actually recognizing the Native Americans to me is a darn good thing considering its quite ironic because when was the last time America itself has done so?

  • @kawaiichick91 They're not acknowledging it, they're appropriating it.

  • The title, plus reading the lyrics, then watching the video, just leaves me confused. My brain feels like sludge.

  • the yellow man was grafted from the red man, so what he is saying is true...he is an indain boy! lol

  • you guys seriously gotta know the lyric of this song to fully understand what mc mong means by Indian boy.. He doesn't view the Indians negatively, the concept of this song is about an Indian boy who has a strong mind/attitude just for his love. Gosh you ignorant ppl.... why can't you just enjoy this good music?

  • @mrpopphill3 Its not the song itself, but the video thats offensive.

  • 1n2d

  • i'm 1/4th Cherokee and i dont find anything wrong with the video my self, yes he pokes fun a little but if you read the lyrics he's talking about how we love our people and each other in a way he's give props to us natives even if the video is funny/wrong, but imo i think its awesome he did this song. then again i'm not as stuck up as some and dont go by skin color, we are all one people and its the heart and spirit that matter, people need to get over skin color....

  • I dont see why mostly everyone says these songs are racists o-o i mean its just a pv arent all pv's a bit messed up im sure its way better then the american pvs

  • To anyone who thinks this isn't racist, maybe you should think about it again. What if instead of Native American/First Nations they modeled African, Asian, or any other culture? This is misrepresentative... reminds me of what people must have believed in the 1800s. Disappointing, Korea!

  • @ashrevolts well think about it. he isn't really talking about the culture he's talking about love. who cares how he interprets it, he does it well and describes that love well using the material he's given.

  • @ashrevolts while the concept of the video is childish, there's no reason for it to be called racist. it doesn't demean, discriminate, or hate on native americans... perhaps you should look of the definition of racism. too many people these days scream 'racism' to anything and everything.

  • @ashrevolts you think again and see if this is trying to show any racism at all

  • @ashrevolts It's meant to be funny/extreme..... Don't be so sensitive.

  • @jimchang4u "Native Americans are indigenous people from Asia". Huh?! Koreans are indigenous to Asia, not Native Americans.

  • @Scabzilla49 Well I take back indigenous, but they have migrated from Asia

  • @jimchang4u

Asians are indigenous people of Africa. Now open up your doors to Black Africans, Korea China and Japan, because your ancestors have a right to immigrate to your nations and marry into your families and none of that anti-Black racial views from Asians (we know how bad discrimination against non-Asians can get) because Black folks are your predecessors. They can mimic ching chong and you can't say shit about it because as your ancestors, they have a right. Sound right?

  • @jimchang4u

Oh yes, one more thing. Eurasia bore both modern day "Asians" and "Europeans" making white folks your cousins. Therefore, whites can ching chong and play Asian stereotypes with all the gusto they want seeing how as the westernmost Eurasian population must have existed before East Asians. LULZ

  • @NopeJPeg ....-___- We're all humans...Ssssooo yeah, we're all related in a way. (why didn't you just say that?) We can't control what somebody gonna say about someone, that's how it is. Thanks for the Archaeology lesson tho,...I guess.

  • LOL wtf? Why do they think that Native Americans live in jungles? Are they that ignorant of America?

  • Racist as hell.

  • Yeah, this is pretty racist. This is culture appropriation. He seems to think Native americans are from Africa. He's dressed up as a freaking safari hunter. There is so many levels of wrong. To the person who said they are Native america. Do you not find the fact he got your culture completely wrong and in a way made it a commodity racist? I'm done...

  • @shiinaringox123 i agree however arent all Pv's a bit messed up i mean compared to American Pv's its alot better. The levels of wrong in American Pv's sky rocket up to a point of which this cannot even match and most popular songs are about sex profanity etc Besides their is only one race and that is Human

  • @Hiyokosamasan Really point out to me these American Pv's that are wrong as well? Kpop is capable of committing the same mistakes as the western ones. I'm going to call out both of them if they are racist or if I find it to be problematic. Please stop putting kpop up on a pedestal. And really what's wrong with singing about sex and swearing? It's a part of being human. Please explain racism to me if we're all just human and part of one race. The world doesn't work that way.

  • @shiinaringox123 Yes kpop is capable of doing that, however its a matter of if it does. Also i did not mean to put kpop on a pedestal, just that its from my perspective. I well as respect your perspectives and opinions as well. Certainly their is nothing wrong with sing about sex and swearing, but it all depends on a persons perspective on it mostly the parents of children who rule it out the moment they hear a swear. It is the part of being human that is shunned by most adults.

  • @Hiyokosamasan It's not a matter if kpop CAN be problematic, there are certain songs and videos that are already problematic. And really artists aren't making music for children, they're making music for largely the teenage and adult population. It's the parent's call at the end of the day to let their children listen to it. The artists aren't really obligated to the parents standards when they put out music. Even if sex is shunned by most people, the artists want to talk about it and that's ok.

  • @shiinaringox123 Im sorry i wasn't able to complete this response with all that i was saying in one response. As to your last one racism is nothing but a person wanting to put themselves higher and making themselves feel better. Sadly it is part of the human way to put down one another, it is true the world does not work that way ,but because we are human we can change it. "Be the change you wish to see in the world" A quote from Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi.

  • @Hiyokosamasan The thing is that's actually not what racism is all about. Racism is not just prejudice. Racism is prejudice + power. Racism is not having the same privileges and power as the race that has all the power. I can write a lot on racism but not into one comment. I just had a problem with your colour blindness. You effectively remove everything a POC goes through and their experiences with racism when you say colour isn't a problem, because for us it is. That's our reality.

  • Me being native American can say this is NOT racist!

I like it, I mean who do you know that actually takes time to even make songs about Indians :/

    This is amazing

And the boy was awesome :)

  • @jazabellacorpse If you dont find it racist fine but there are plenty of people who do find it racist. Do you think the washington "redskins" or cleveland "indians" mascots are racist? They are one dimensional depictions that are far from accurate which is what makes them racist and my worry is that by you identifying yourself as native this gives people an excuse to continue to promote these stereotypes saying "well he or she is native and they said its ok" so its not racist.

  • Ko hiểu gì hết . I don't understand

  • So does anyone know what happened to that kid rapper, Be-i or B.I.?

    Is he gonna debut?

  • @aquasocola tips for not getting flamed at,

    1. don't post on stuff that is 6 months old.

    2. read the whole post that you are responding to BEFORE you respond.

    3. make sure that when you are flaming someone, you don't look like a fool by flaming a person that is actually taking the stand that you are taking.

    4. If you don't know how to get the "backdrop" of the post, don't post.

  • I miss all these old songs~ <3 The new songs are kinda....

  • That young rapper, Be-i is so cute<3 and his rapping voice is great! Watch this mv just to see him lol, he looks cute too^^ Btw T-ara's Yayaya MV kinda look like this MV ..e.g 2:36 (No minwoo was carried upside down in YAYAYA MV too xD)

    Love this song<3~

  • idiots are missin the damn point of this song

  • MC Mong will return, his career isn't over becus he was found innocent! i remember shin dongyup went to jail and look at him now, one of the top MCs! he'll be back.

  • MC Gums was cursed for stereotyping Indigenous People. His career is OVER! "LU-LU-LU" (google MC Mong military controversy, court trials)

  • i flagged this video under "promotes terrorism" because it promotes cultural terrorism, oppressing and diminishing an entire proud people into a "Lu-Lu" and a headdress... etc. thanks

  • @truesks You're welcome.

  • i say thi song is pretty good. i just found out on July th bc i bought this disk at a J4 tourney. it was suppose to be an SNSD disk but then it had this song an a whole bunch of other songs in it. but then the little boy AKA B.I is so adorable when he raps. lol he's pretty good. :D

  • I'm not gonna lie..x'D The little boy.."B.I." reminds me of Moon geun young..Idk why e.e

  • its not indian!it should be named native american boy.

  • Oh check out his dancers. Isn't the one playing trombone the CRAZY dancer Kim Yi Hye that TaeYang uses in his live "I need a girl". Turns out she is also pretty hot wearing gold, huh? I think she is also one of the YG dancers in Kan Mi Youn - Paparazzi.

  • @dalegg66 well, imma just say since i noticed, but the girl TaeYang danced with was Sandara Park from 2ne1

so i cant really say that they're the same person...

  • @abcd3fg33 That was the studio video version. In the more common live performance it's that girl- youtube.com/watch?v=F-QPC45cUXc

  • I love this music video. It's a good song, plus it's funny. 8D

  • He's not banned forever. He'll be back. Besides him, there are a handful of korean celebrities that came back to the music industry after going to jail. I forgot what his name was, but the guy that sang in 'I love you Oh thank you' went to jail multiple times and look at him now =D

  • @jkinng That's the same person XXD

  • I love his songs... Sucks now that he's banned forever from TV industries...

  • this is mc mongs version of african child.....i love it!!!

  • love this song!!!

    and that cute boy!!!!!!

  • hes obviously just wanted to make a fun song thats got a bright video. stop reading into things ... fucking hell

  • technically native americans descend from asians... sooo is he parodying his distant cousins? xD

  • @thevoiceofreason94 he isnt making a parody though ...

  • @tsumugirui didn't mean it like that. of course he's making a love song out of this. just playing with my knowledge of history.

  • @thevoiceofreason94

Descent from a common ancestor does not imply that one modern group is descended from another. Are you Black? Asians descend from Africans. Why do Asians have a lot of gripes against their ancestral race?

  • @NopeJPeg its from my knowledge lol. anywhoo, basically Africa was the start of humanity if my history knowledge is correct. i dunno if asians you know have gripes about their ancestry but honestly i don't give a shit. i was just making a joke, of course its a bad joke but a joke nonetheless. why are you making a big deal out of race? Korea (using them since Mong is korean) name's very meaning is "one land" or unified land. all people inside are considered brothers and sisters.

  • after the boy's rap i went eeeee ...in my head =)

does it help that he reminds me of the funny headmaster (assistant) guy in this show?..now i seriously want to see him on some show..he has just the type of facial muscle that'll crack me right up X)

...if not that then if ever i am a dancer, love to be on one of his vids. seems way fun and. the. Energy >ww<

  • haha i thought indian boy was about Indian!! as in the me like me curry :) i was like yay he's singing songs about my nationality!! obviously not though lol. i love this song now~

  • the little kid is just adorable. ^^

  • I feel so bad for MC Mong. I hope he can overcome this and come back to us.

  • @ServingLyrics i miss him so much !!! especially in 1N2D !!! ='( Mc Mong Hwaiting !

  • @misshyukjoon89 Just remember, when you see a monkey, imagine like mc mong!!! XD

  • please come back oppa... i miss youuuuu

  • I love MC mong..Except he is having scandal with his teeth..lol...his music is my favorite...joy, fun, and relax...

  • I miss mc mong. =(

  • I saw that little boy, Be-i or whatever, and IMMEDIATELY thought of little G-Dragon

  • I LOVE THIS SONG!!! :))

  • who is the other boy,the one always beside him??

  • Will people stop looking at this music video as if it's talking about politics and race. He's comparing his feelings to an "Indian Boy" and his failed attempt at getting this girl to like him. It's not talking about Native American history or anything political, I'm part native American myself and I don't take one word offensive. Just listen to the music and have a good time.

  • MC Mong is Indian? What? Indian and Asian? :|

  • @ToastOfDOOMM -sigh-

  • @destroyer7xl So that's a yes or no?

  • mc mong T___T i dont want him to go to jail ;~~;

  • @ 1:21 look at the guy who wores a rainbow shirt LOL

  • It's not fair for us as Americans (or Westerns) to judge his lack of knowledge. If Americans made a song and MV that was catchy and fun about Korean natives and got the stereotypes fucked up, Koreans would get pissed too but Americans wouldn't understand where the animosity is coming from. I don't think it's fair to hold up a double standard to this degree - he was not degrading Native Americans and more importanty, I feel Americans try to "stop" racism to make up for their pasts.

  • @Quixomo One of the best things I've heard about racism from a black man to a white reporter was to "stop talking about it" - if we keep bringing it up, it is still existing.

  • The things I would do to get a list over all the clothes in this MV.

  • i miss him so much..... i really hope he will be back in 1night 2 days...

  • Be-i...Cute too

  • cute MC Mong... his eyes.. and his warm smile.. love him...

  • At 1:30 isn't that the jeans he wore to SNSD's hello baby ?! LOL

  • LMAO. I WAS WONDERING WHERE I REMEMBERED THE FIRST GUY TALKING!! AND THEN I REALIZED IT WAS JANGGEUN!! OMG, MEMORIES~

  • I will kill that muscle leg flex move. D< It's so hard to do.

  • hahaha. I love this guy. he's the only one that makes satisfying music videos.

  • Hey man. I'm a korean and now here's fun fact. In korean, 'indian' is still 'native american' and for indian people, we call them 'indian people'

  • @ajslisgood Yes Indians here refer to indigenous Red Indians (native Indians) who lived in Native America. Asian Indians are vastly different.

  • The Boy in 1:22 , hahahahahaha

  • 0:17

    is that boom?

  • @DemiandSterling1 That's what I thought at first too, but not it's not. He's Jang Geun, one of MC Mong's close friends and now he's Dalmatian's manager =)

  • @Randommznes @DemiandSterling1 hehe lol Janggeun is actually not Dalmatian's manager. They have different managerS, Janggeun only joined them in for the show =]

  • This song make me want an indian boy! :D

  • I love him :D marry me, Mong?

  • they so funny :) i like mc mong

  • ooh for heavens sake how is that racist .......people are so touchcy over silly things the dude is just having fun expressing himself

  • @evelynchamp who said it is racist? i see no comments about that...

    :)

  • @PigenOneMe read some of the previous older comments

  • @evelynchamp i only see comments like this: this is not racist! How should it be racist!!

sometimes i don't understand why everybody has to comment it when somebody already did. You'r comment is nice, i know. but why do everybody have to say the same? Can't we talk about how nice the song is... we have already told those haters once, if they don't wanna listen, ignore them. Just saying :)

  • That's it. Time to buy this guys CD.

  • song would be better without the super high pitched kid...higher pitched than most girls... i mean really...

  • lol 0:24

  • He he! This song is so cute, some of it is accurate, so i don't take it offensive XD

Although I live in oklahoma so I must laugh about the OU part. But I have noticed most natives up here like OU even though the are sooner booners,^~^

That and I think some of the stereotypical stuff is funny!^-^

  • i dont understand why anyone would be offended by this. In fact i think this song seems pretty good. I myself am half blooded native from my dads side. i know my tribe n everything and love its culture and i am not offended at all. I mean the way i c it is that its better having people embrace us then being racist and ignorant like alot of people near my tribes reservation.

  • Jihey!!!

  • @bubble814 its scripted that was suppose to be :)

  • this song is very catchy...

  • really? the song is not only gay as fuck but this video is on all sorts of levels of WRONG! smh...you would think an asian would be sensitive to issues like this...sterotyping...

  • Haha you racist little fucker. Guess you thought you'd get away from draft dodging. Karma's a bitch and I'm practically popping champagne that karma bit you in the ass for your racist video and your career in the industry is done! FUCK MC MONG!

  • hey these two girls are yg dancers right? the girl that they all aim at is the chick in taeyang oppa's i need a girl dance partner and the other girl too..

im not too sure about the guys at the back couldnt really see their faces!

anywhoooo...music video was cool and song is great...mc mong is hilarious as usually...he's even more funny in 2 days 1 night...lolz....i can never miss an episode...

  • hey these two girls are yg dancers right? the girl that they all aim at is the chick in taeyang oppa's i need a girl dance partner and the other girl too..

im not too sure about the guys at the back couldnt really see their faces!

  • hey these two girls are yg dancers right?

  • I like this song , but there are better ones.

  • this song is pretty damn catchy, and i love mc mong, but frankly it is very ignorant towards the native american peoples. my girlfriend is native, and im pretty sure if i showed this video to her she would be very offended.

  • @ixninja680xi ahh do you understand korean? even if there is subtitles u should understand the race. let me explain, koreans are a pretty proud race (myself included!) but the song is more about how indians protect what they cherish and feel close about. Mong actually uses native american references for some of the song "my arrow will pierce" etc.

  • @JtotheS09 yeah dude i totally understand how the lyrics are really heartfelt and whatnot, but the video just shows ignorance. I personally love the song and the video is cool, but im pretty sure if i showed this to her she would get mad because it does not represent her own culture at all and she would not appreciate being tied to these groups represented. she is also very proud of her culture too. its like calling you chinese ya kno?

  • @ixninja680xi haha yeah i feel you on this, i understand, actually im mixed, (dad is cherokee indian and german) but dude even though im korean too if you called me chinese, id be like "Awesome my family came from them Long ago!" haha of course thats me but yeah i see how some people could get offended as well.

  • @ixninja680xi I'm cherokee, and i'm in no way offended. I guess it just depends on your perspective.

  • omg! tis was so freakin cool! jux luv his style of making mvs. all those colorfulness n funky catchy music! totally awesome!

  • @uyentran1260 lmao how did they not edit that out thanks for pointing it out XD

  • racist?!

    who?where? WHY?

    i mean hello!!!!!!!

when i would sing a song about how cool it would be, if i would be an korean artist, would i be a racist too?!

    also echt -.-

    MC Mong LOVE YA

  • This is so degrading, and frankly, it disgusts me.
