  • One of my favorite!

  • The_Game! 5-8-77 Rock_On!

  • @mrfrosty3 The live album I absolutely love best is the one that was simply titled "Live". The DVD of the Tango In The Night tour is great as well, even though Lindsay wasn't part of the band at the time. More recent there is the compilation of their 2003 concert at the Boston Fleet Hall, great to see how each of the members still shows so much energy when playing. Also worth watching (!) is the classic album series doc. about "Rumours", doesn't include full live performances though.

  • I've been fond of Fleetwood Mac since the 1980's when my folks were into them. I've just started watching their live performances and I'm astounded at the musicality, energy and charisma of the band. Can anyone strongly recommend some live albums to me?

  • @mrfrosty3 Nearly forgot to mention their Mirage tour DVD. I'd say all of their live stuff is recommendable. FM one of the best live performing bands I know.

  • Kristie is a Amazing Songwriter...I love all of her songs..and her voice is so smooth and she always sounded great with Stevie who had a great harmony voice (Considering she was Lead singer, very professional)....Thank You for the upload!!

  • what a soft voice, you are great Christie...

  • I love everything in this version :-)

  • One of the most beautiful songs ever written, never fails to make me smile/go "aaw". :)

  • sweet wonder you; sugardaddy..mwah babe..

  • LLoyd 2my Rhiannon

  • @flooringalabama i will fly to england to play with you Christine

  • JUST BEAUTIFUL!!!!!

  • john is a great bass player. they are all top musicians.

  • top performance.

  • a stunning song, solid performance too. :)

  • Gee, Christine, through your lyrics, was this a stab in the back of your (ex) husband John? I can detect it.

  • Truly a beautiful song...and my favorite Fleetwood song.

  • Is that not what we all want? Our loving to be fun?

  • It is Christine , not Christie, sheesh, call yourselves fans

  • Fleetwood Mac is becoming bigger than they ever were!! Great that they made it through their bad times and can tour together again... rumors are they will tour again end of 2012 or 2013 !! Can they persuade Christine to join them ??? It would be an unbelievable tour if that could happen !!!!!

  • This is classic in every sense of the word.

  • Christine always was and will always be a class act......she is a true songbird. Love love love this song.

  • CHristine.

  • I just love Christie Mcvie's voice. She is awesome.

  • I just love Christie Mcvie's voice. She is awesome. What a great song writer and musician to boot! I could listen to her all day.

  • @pak51 100%

  • he gots super afro!

  • Why is Stevie here anyway? Christie is much better.

  • @829012 Stevie and Christie together were kick ass there is no fleetwood mac without these girls

  • Not often you get a rock band with 4 great vocalists, Nicks,Buckingham,McVie and of course Peter Green.

  • I've Just been reminded how kewl Fleetwood Mac is.

  • Just love this song Absolutly brilliant...

  • The Mac just isn't the same without you, Christine.

  • 1:55 Lyndesy cahnged the tune... it's a deiiferent take ..

  • Her haircut was ahead of it's time.

  • Who here does not think of the summer of 1977 when they hear this song on the radio?

  • It's a perfect performance!

I really love when John strums a chord at 3:07

  • Epic

  • gotta love the sound of a les paul

  • Christine mcvie sounds exactly the same now

  • On Rumors I never understood why the studio cut was so short. It seems like a song that could have clocked in around 5 min. like this version.

  • magnific band

  • I call it nostalgia, but trying to remember the band's name was difficult, the song came much faster, I love the music of the MAC.

  • Best song ever !!!

  • Perfect

  • I always thought Christie was the best in the band......a very talented band.

  • Best song ever!

  • Mick Fleetwood's a Beast!

  • This music is not Blues is it? Fleetwood Mac started out playing Blues but their version of it just did not feel sincere. How could it? What suffering did they go through? Serfdom? " You got to pay your dues if you want to sing the blues". The ones who first sang the blues payed their dues indeed. But not to the British per se. They paid their dues (many times with their lives and children) to the Anglo-AMERICANS. And where did Lindsey get his inspiration? From Elvis ? Elvis was not the King!

  • They are KILLING it

  • well over half a million hits... who can argue with that?? shame they werent appreciated fully in the uk during this era....

  • Brilliant tune, love it right down to the woodblock

  • Christine McVie at her blistering best on this song. You can almost feel the

musical chemistry between her and Lindsay Buckingham on this track.

What a shame that ALL the band members were going through such

personal turmoil during the recording of one of the best albums ever.

    But Im not complaining!!

  • Christine has the best voice!!!! my fav song!!!

  • I love all Fleetwood Mac songs, but this one's my favorite!

  • I love how magical it is when they all harmonize and the way their voices blend.

  • One of the best songs ever.

  • Comment removed

  • I love the vocals and bassline here... brilliant!

  • like live version better

  • Doesn't Lindsay look like Jeff Lynne's brother.

  • I love Christie Mcvie's Voice!

  • @achemachew Perfect

  • @itzjoeymac Indeed.

  • for you emma..

  • cocaine, yeah!

  • @GroffinTiffin

    HELL YEAH!

  • Chrissie I love You

  • Stevie Nicks is really hot in this video.

  • agreed

  • it would be fun to make love to Christine yeah amen

  • I find Christie's voice makes for such easy, smooth listening while IMO Stevie's is much more of an acquired taste, its acoustic center being somewhere in her nasal cavity.

  • @Fetucinee you've lost your nasal mind ...

  • @Fetucinee Wow really? I've always seen it as the complete opposite! I've always seen Stevie Nicks as having a generally incredible and well-received voice and Christine McVie as the acquired taste. Hers has always been my least favourite out of the three.

  • I photographed Fleetwood Mac in 1977 in Canada. To see the shots go to ianmarkmusicphotos (.com)

  • @mrianmark thanks! I'm off to "see the shots"! : )

  • Where did the time go? Truly the best nusic was in that era.

  • @egmorel nusic? wow never heard that one before

  • @egmorel That was the best of times, Astronauts had recently walked on the Moon, the Vietnam War was behind us and Evil Knievel was jumping over busses....

  • I never did believe in the ways of magic, but I'm beginning to wonder why

  • Wonderful. That is the only word i can think of to describe Christine McVie.

  • THIS IS WHAT THE WONDERFUL DECADE OF THE 70'S PRODUCED. EXCELLENT

AND TIMELESS MUSIC FOR US TO ENJOY.THIS IS A PERFECT EXAMPLE OF WHAT A GREAT SONG FROM THAT ERA WAS ALL ABOUT. AWESOME MUSIC.

  • Thank you God for Christine, She is Fleetwood Mac, her songs propelled the group to super stardom. PERIOD, her writing is so honest, simple and an extension of her heart, it is a Gift to be that transparent.

  • @flooringalabama i do agree she was a great songwriter but i liked stevie nicks songs jus as much they made fleetwood mac

  • @bbucs86 in her prime, every man that ever saw christine wanted to kiss her, its her mystique,

i still would at 66, cause i love her sprit not her looks, She is THE MOST honest person

i have never met, bet john wishes a thousand times, that he still had her, you dont let

her sprit get away, john is living in regret, guaranteed. When you marry someone you change thier destiny love you christine

  • @FloormanofAlabama she isn't honest her and buckingham were having a affair. how is that honest?

  • @fakfdoajalkjdalknmac It was an HONEST affair!

  • @flooringalabama Ummm...Agreed christine was (is) great,But the group really took off after Stevie nicks / Lindsey Buckingham joined.

  • @flooringalabama Thank you god for christine

  • Ok what idiot gave my christie a thumbs down, She the is the sweetest thing i have ever seen. God needed a blueprint for angel, he said ms christine perfect will do just fine, i would only have a hard time not worshiping her musical ability, yes, i play 4 instruments including keys, yes well enough to do it professionally, but was not willing to starve to pay my dues, should have i regret it now, i would fix her coffee and get her walker if she needed, yes that much, find me christine, i do

  • Who's playing guitar? That doesn't look like Lyndsie Buckingham.

  • @Moscato51 Yews, that bis indeed Lindsey Buckingham, and you can see him singing "Go Your Own Way" if you search for Lindsey Buckingham-Go Your Own Way, and he has the same big, frizzy, floppy super-afro and beard in that video too.

  • @Moscato51 its not this was after lyndsie and stevie broke up

  • I suppose they can't do the slap bass part here because it was mixed with the other bass and thier is only one basser.

  • Unfortunately Stevie Nicks likes to try and wreck Christine's songs live. I wish she would shut up and let Christine sing on her own for those songs

  • @TheAlistairDick I like her harmonizing on these live versions. Keeps it interesting and different from the studio versions.

  • @TheAlistairDick Agreed. When Christine sings backup on Stevie's songs, she tries to add something. When Stevie sings backup on Christine's songs, she throws the whole thing off key. She doesn't know how to harmonize. Not to mention she eats the mike instead of backing off. Typical diva attitude.

  • @dharmaseed man you took the words from my mouth

  • quiero este video traducido al español-----

  • Still married to John McVie, Christine wrote this song for her brief relationship with the Fleetwood Mac light director... How can u do this to your husband (who's never facing her)?

    Beautiful song, man, but f**k!!!!!!

  • @Jacobanko This was such a incestous group, maybe that's where a lot of their energy came from (or maybe it was the drugs they did in '70's) but either way, I would kill to have seen them live, the pain of being born late, I consider the seventies to be one of the best periods of music, & my favorite !

  • BEST BAND OF THE 70'S & 80'S !!!!!!!

Three great , diverse voices, great drummer, innovative guitarist, and one of the most underated bassists in history!

    T-H-E B-E-S-T ! ! ! ! !

  • I would love to know how to get ahold of the Rosebud documentary! FM forever!!

  • Love it thanks for posting!!!!

  • This is the best post Peter Green FM song of all time!!

  • fleetwood mac were proper cokeheads, and christine is a sexy women.

  • FLEETWOOD MAC/You Make Loving Fun

    この何とも言えない、怪しく、濃密な空気感…クセになりそう…。

  • Great song. In fact that album "Rumours" was a great album (of the year). Great Band of musicians. Thanks for sharing

  • THIS IS THE SONG...! It's been lost almost completely nowadays !! Luv it .

  • stevie nicks and christie mcvee give me a huge boner, no joke

  • For me Christine McVie is the REAL sound of Fleetwood Mac. Stevie Nicks is amazing and stunningly beautiful but Christine has so much talent.

  • @jamesgdavies2 christine is a musician, stevie is a front man. both brought what was necessary to make fleetwood mac, fleetwood mac. after the girls joined them. not a whole lot different than mick and keith

  • SlappyFrankenstein @ You have to understand what the band was going thru at that time. They were completely miserable with the events that took place at that time. The only reason they were still together were legal reasons. They had contracts to uphold. It is truly remarkable considering what had happened.

  • christine is so good...

  • I turned 19 with this song. She's one of my favorites

  • ID LOVE TO SEE THEM DO A DUET WITH THE EAGLES!

  • stevie rock queen

  • Awesome thanks So much for this!!!

  • Beautiful. The only live version that kicks the studio version for a six. Christine's vocals may not have that raspy edge that Stevie has, but Christine sure sounds sweet.

  • I never did belieeeeeeeeeEEEEEeeeeeeve in the ways of magic

  • @revolved87 If it was Stevie Nicks singing it, I am sure she'd believe in the ways of magic. Or maybe "magick".

  • It will be different and I know it will. Hope is the light of my life for tomarrow is already here.

So mote it be! A Maricle!

  • It will be different and I know it will. Hope is the light of my life for tomarrow is already here.

    So mote it be!

  • what a great performance.....

  • Sometimes people click the wrong thumb, who cares, just listen!

  • Yeah right four out of one hundred billion lol !

  • genius melody especially where the notes don't necessarily have words: "ah- AH - ahhhh" etc. Christy is the glue that holds this group together, she *IS* Fleetwood Mac

mounds of blow went into the making of Rumors

  • Lindsey was born to play a beautiful white Les Paul.

  • christine, a great composer

  • Takes some balls.. Writing a song about how good it is with the bloke your sleeping with behind your husbands back.. Especially when your husband is the bass player..!

  • @RicIrving Probably even more so when he happens to be the drummer from The Beach Boy's. RIP

  • and kids think lady gaga can sing?

  • Shit, why was I born twenty years too late?? I missed the whole era when there was this kind of amazing music around. I would have quit my job and followed these guys and lived in a tent. Late 70's FM is start to finish pure genius!

  • that was HEAVY!!!!!

  • im 21, and i wish we had quality of music like this when i was growing up. Honestly believe that music is dead these days. Fleetwood are absolutley amazing me and my mate chill and listen to them all the time.

  • brilliant!

  • only the dumbest very good group

  • its in slow motion but its not??

  • music to fuck by

  • I am a full time college student and a part time pole dancer at a local club to pay tuition. I use this song when I need that something extra to get the crowd going nutso. One of the most erotic, driving songs ever made. And yes I am nude when I dance to this- but NO I don't "do it" for money and I'm a Physics major so no wise cracks

  • @hotnerd99

No wise cracks, how about some wide cracks?

  • I never get tired of this amazing song, i miss Christine....

  • great band in its time and still is......

  • great song despite the dark history behind it

  • Splendid - enough said!

  • JUST ONE WORD 4 FLEETWOOD MAC,,,,,PERFECT!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOVE ALL YOUR MUSIC

  • Will someone please re-post the T o k y o 1 9 7 7 version of this, where you can see Stevie's marvelously bare back as she wanly taps her tambourine before laying down one of the greatest back up vocals in the history of live rock and roll?

Seriously, what is the problem? It's been down for about six months.

  • @herbbirdsfoot

    Talking about that ? watch?v=gYYFW1MRuzA

  • Sick. Pure talent, musical ability, unlike today's AUTO TUNE SH!T, and nowadays instruments come from a computer

  • this, is truly a work of art

  • i can feel the coke they were all amped on when they played this song 33 years ago and it feels so good.

  • Comment removed

  • All live performances should sound like the original that made the song popular. Mick Jagger manages to make all the Stones hits sound like crap during a live perfomance as do many performers.

  • @tubeythetubba .Thats cause hes performed them over a hundred thousand times ..but so fuckin what ..right? we like the band cause of their records so try to make the song sound like the record live ...i hate it too. tom petty sounds awsome in concert .least he did 10 yrs ago

  • great song..

  • Kakva odlična pjesma...

  • @mightymetalka Croatias in the house!

  • @mblasko :D I'm really glad that you're recognized the language... Actually I'm from Bosnia, but that's all the same :D

    Greetings :)

  • My fav song on their greatest hits CD. Christine you seriously ROCK!

  • nice accent

  • Excelente banda, saudades da adolescência.

  • Simply amazing thx for the upload.

  • Lindsey and girlfriend do protest too mcuh. O, really,? Not doing anything differently? The California influence - ao clean, expensive, most of all dramatic - doesn't that seem any different than the other artistic elements in this band? Funny how the rest just faded away - and all the press said - thank goodness, other notes just took away from commerical success . . . And I truely love the sound of the new Fleetwood Mac. Just be thinkers!

  • LOVE YOU CHRISTINE

  • my parents approve-they're watching it

  • I like songs that don't follow a traditional vocal strucure like this one.

  • So many live vocal performances are disappointing when compared to studio versions of the same song. She did a really great job on this one. Sounds just like the studio version.

  • this is why they are my gods xx

  • am i the only one who wishes more than hell that this ending was what recorded? its so much more organic and embodies that feeling that they were going through at the time.

  • @RascalXmas your not alone in this. i feel the exact ame way. thankfully the studio recording of this version is released on the double rumours cd that came out a few years back. still, i cant help but wonder why they didnt put that version on the lp all those years ago.

  • Abba are crying !!!!!

  • Great group!!

  • How is it this world contains four people who could possibly give this group, this song, this performance, a thumbs down? What in the hell is the problem? This is sheer perfection!

  • @Davedio Another good question is, with over 333,000 views, how can there only be 457 likes?

Crikey! What's it take to get a thumbs-up around here?

  • @Davedi Some people don't like ice cream. Just don't make no sense.
