I am not a fan of rap, hip-hop, pop, R'n'B, whatever. But this song... lyrically it is amazingly real, they sing about actual problems rather than 'This bitch won't give it up' etc.
The best thing about this video is it was short in Switzerland...Used to listen to this song while going to Geneva and thinking of how much I miss home...thanks for the upload mate
Bone thugs is awesome. I wish there were groups today like them! ALSO I rapped Busta's part in look at me now. Im just a white girl from Bama who attempted it. Thumbs ^^^^^ if you think I did okay & pick out the hardest rap ever for me to do and I will upload it today!!
Oh please this is sooooo annoying every time i go on a old school hip hop tune like Tupac, Biggie etc there always comment about J Bieber and Lil wayne saying shit like Give us tupac and we will give u Bieber, thats funny but now every1 saying phill collins wasn't comfortable with Bone thugz, that is the most stupidest thing to say can't we just listen to this fine peace of music and be grateful that they even collaborated together. Come people just say how much u like this song because its FINE
....why is it when a group goes outside their normal jams they catch s**t? Happens in all genres of music...whether it be country, metal, rap, r&b, rock...or any other style of music... the haters start their hatin... Music is a great way to teach and express... I'm sure it wasn't just rap fans that dissed, I'm sure some of Phils fans did as well... this is a great song by a group of very talented guys...why not combine talents...to form great music...... bad ass jam, period.
hey im a struggling artist, please come to my page and check out my raps. i need lots of feedback from people. so i can see what areas i need to improve on. i can use the help and extra advice. also if you can, can you please thumbs this up so it could get noticed, so then i can get more feedback. thank you and have a good day
#9 on least hip-hop moments, my ass. you can use a sample of any song, just don't make a video with the artist whose sample you use? bullshit. this song is tight.
1st time I heard this I was like "Wait, is that Phil Collins?" And someone else was like "Yup." And then I was like "Lulz!" And then I enjoyed the rest of the song.
That's AWESOME how Phil Collins and Bone can come together like this. All for the MUSIC! It's the one thing we ALL need in this messed up world! M_U_S_I_C!
You know something, I might not be a Bone fan, but this is not a bad song at all, it's as if they and the original Phil Collins song were meant to mash together. I give them props for writing this from the heart. Why this song was criticized as not being hip-hop is beyond me. They took a beat and ran with it, they just managed to include the original chorus, nothing wrong with that at all.
I find some of these comments funny. Phil Collins feeling uncomfortable in the VIDEO? You must not forget that the video was put together in clips and pieces and not done all at once. That means a bunch of talking, laughing, retakes, and things of that sort going on , all before the final editing and mixing together....etc. Each piece of clip with them together was probably no longer than 20 or 30 sec max and probably redone many times before getting it right, similar to a sitcom...
Phil Collins is a beast. Fan of his before I heard of Bones Thugs & Harmony fans of both now but I will always have such a high respect for Phil Collins
I remember watching this video when it premiered back in the day...it really blew me away that anyone could come over the top with Phil Collins beats backing em...but hell he was the drummer for Genisis for years and laid down some of the most epic beats in history, so its not that big a shock...I rank this up with the Anthrax/Public Enemy X-over.
When i first heard the comments about bone doing a video with phil collins many were saying they lost their street credibility. When was watching this video for the first time, i found the bone to be just the realest group ever. This is the definition of being real: no bullshit fronts, speaking from the heart and not being a follower. so much respect to bone thugs for this song and video.
@nystagmus Thank you, Thank you. I've been a true fan of BT&H since day one and I have most of all of their CDs and I can't see how they are so underrated now. Its just sad they speak about real stuff and not trying to be like everyone else. I even got my younger brother hooked on BT&H he is 22 now.
@lpc0615 how amazing is that krayzie bone flow at 2:17 ??? wow he sounds like he is part of the instrumental. i have never heard anyone ride a beat so well. they have such amazing talent.
Mostly uneducated and peons whom lack taste in music & stand stoic to one genre are the retards that say "wtf who is phil collins" little do you guys realise that most of the rappers in this world grew up listening to all sorts of musical styles and even the most gangster niggas grew up listening to the softest smoothest musicians you could think of.
" take... take me home, cos I dont remember... " epic
man u gotta give Respect and give bone their P's...cuz they always kept it together when bizzy wanna be too busy...and flesh being locked down....they still managed to make Hits....i Still Miss the OLD Bone....and on that note...the Old BIZZY...haha...seriously.

I'm sure this was a real honor for bones to work with phil and the song works so well. This is how a collaboration is done.
