Yes, but he didn't "try" to speak Spanish, he did speak Spanish. I didn't really hear any errors and his accent was not bad either. Good for him. :-)

Landon once said in an interview that growing up his teammates were almost always latino... So he picked up spanish and kept learning as years went by.. Same with Dempsey.. good thing cuz half of the USMNT speaks spanish.. Ha ha .. Donovan is and always will be AWESOME!

Much love to Landon for trying to speak another language. Too many times, english speaking athletes know only english while other non-english speaking athletes learn our language and entertain us in English. Respect, man.
