I do love this battle! I am impressed by how you were able to beat Emerald both without the Underwater materia and with merely 999 MP!

so does it only use Air Tam Storm or whatever when u have the underwater materia?

@DeadPixel2009 No he can use it whatever materia you have or not.

But it use it only on a specifical time : when the eyes are here and are present for many turns.

This can't happend here because when the eyes came, i take them out immediately.

I would say "yes and no".

The counters materias are one of my favorites (with quadra magic and some others). So i didn't really farm for this challenge because i already farmed some for fun.

Sometimes i farm materia just for try weird things.

So yeah i spent hours farming them, but way before this challenge.

One problem still, is the 200 materia limit in the inventory (you can carry more if you keep some materias on the characters). So i have to be carefull on what i do.

how did you cast the last ultima? you didnt have mp

@javierr999 I have a Counter + Mime on my materias set up.

My mime will mine my previous counter, witch is Ultima (on materia order).

Watch at 0:24 for my materia set up.

The first mime, will never cost nothing. No even with 0mp, i can mime.

During a counter phase, counter are done in order (see my set up).

But, a mime by counter will be always perform last on a counter phase.

That's why i do :

Ultima - Cure - Demi - Demi - Ultima(mime)

instead of :

Ultima - Ultima - Cure - Demi - Demi

if u equip to your weapon/armour counter materia combined with magic materia and quadra magic with master magic, do u counter with each magic materia 4 times?

@therichinchins Yeah, if you have Master Magic + Quadra-Magic and next to this Magic-Counter + Fire. You will counter with fire 4 times.

On my video, i counter 6 times. Only because you get a extra shot with more than one quadra magic. For exemple, two set of Fire + Quadra-Magic on Cloud will give him the ability to launch Fire 5 times (not 4).

I hope it's clear i'm not sure of the english materia names. Tell me if there is a problem, i'll try to answer better ;)
