Had to expect this kinda game. Neither team faces the opponents style of play all season. Get in a lot of practice time, but you can't recreate game speed. Or in Wisconsin's case, power.
OSU can't talk, man. They lost to Florida by more than one score in their bowl. #1 OSU got beat at Camp Randall by multiple scores two years ago and this year's OSU won on a Hail Mary at the Horseshoe.
That said, OSU is improving, and Wisky will have a rebuilding year so anything can happen. I suspect Wisky, Nebraska and OSU to compete for the conference title and for the winner to play Michigan in the B1G Championship this coming fall.
The only good thing to come outta OSU was 4Loko. lol

This game definitely lived up to its billing. Two unstoppable offenses with contrasting styles, two great running backs, lots of points, futuristic uniforms vs. time-honored, classic uniforms, big plays on both sides and it looked like the band and fans were having a lot of fun.

@SODMGOceanGang We already have two pretty good guys in line. Naturally, they won't be as versatile as Wilson, but we keep the O-line which is made up of Paul Bunyans and some of the receivers that were good this year (Abbrederis, Pederson). Plus, our D is one year better.
Next year's Wisconsin will be just as good as the Wisconsin that beat OSU at Camp Randall two years ago even if they are not as good as this year's. And I doubt OSU will be ranked #1 in the nation this time...

This game definitely lived up to its billing. Two unstoppable offenses with contrasting styles, two great running backs, lots of points, futuristic uniforms vs. time-honored, classic uniforms, big plays on both sides and it looked like the band and fans were having a lot of fun.
Congrats Oregon and GJ Wisconsin for putting on a show! (Wisconsin fans can take solace in the fact that the last time Wisconsin lost the Rose Bowl--the Packers WON the Super Bowl. Haha)

Wisconsin gave up 621 yards of offense to the Ducks , but when Ohio State played Oregon in this same game they only gave up 260 yards. You do the math

@SODMGOceanGang We already have two pretty good guys in line. Naturally, they won't be as versatile as Wilson, but we keep the O-line which is made up of Paul Bunyans and some of the receivers that were good this year (Abbrederis, Pederson). Plus, our D is one year better.
Next year's Wisconsin will be just as good as the Wisconsin that beat OSU at Camp Randall two years ago even if they are not as good as this year's. And I doubt OSU will be ranked #1 in the nation this time...

@jon971203 In college these kids put it all on the line with only hopes of being in the league one day. You can see it in their eyes during the games. In the NFL theyve already made it and have those millions to go home to. The emotion is gone and the hope is only for the dollar signs.

ducks played very well against a very good offense and defense and tho oregon had a lot of penalties they came out and won the day, did what they do, and executed. Congratulations oregon ducks, you guys deserve it.
Also, congratulations to the badgers for making it to the rose bowl and playing hard and never giving up and really giving us a good game.

I know it hurts crotchety old dudes when their sunset years arrive but senility can only explain, not excuse stupidity. Oregon is for real. Get used to it, tool. History includes recent accomplishments and the last 20 years the ducks have been on a steady rise. A rising program isn't "going nowhere" as you put it. Secondly, there's a thing called fark. it's when the media develops a story that isn't there just to keep their business alive. and Third, I'm sure every college has done something illegal before.
