@lildrummergirl12 It’s just tape – you can check out the taping tutorial under the Tips & Tricks playlist in the information box to see how I apply it =)
@hipsteritoutt it does use more than a normal manicure, but it's worth it =) & I have plenty to spare LOL - but if you are concerned, depending on the design you are going for you can dip 2 or 3 fingers at a time to save polish, also some designs use fewer drops
why does the design look like there only red , green , and purple on you're nail and it seems like there is no white on you're nail , is that just you're camera ?
@TheCheekyMonkeyEmily Nothing, it's not toxic. You just have to get nail polish remover and take a cotton ball dip it into the remover and clean your nail up :) Hope this helped! :)
@TheCheekyMonkeyEmily even with tape some gets on your skin - I use a brush dipped in acetone for what's left after the tape is removed – you can check out the clean up tutorial under the Tips & Tricks playlist in the information box to see how =)
@MrSassypants123 an orange stick is a wooden manicure tool, basically a long pointy stick like a big toothpick – you can use anything with a fine point =)
I tried water marbeling 2 days ago. UGH lol I wanted to pull my hair out. I used water temp. filtered water. I definatly need to work on it and go through all my polishes. Alot of them just dropped like a ball at the bottom of the bowl, and some dry so fast in the water too. I'm not giving up on this lol
@MsLilacLover1 some polish sinks because it’s too dense, other times it is from dripping it from too high up, try to stay close to the surface of the water =) other than that just lots of trial & error to find the best colors
I did this a few weeks ago and don't think I'll do it for awhile, LOL! not because I didn't like it or anything, but because I'm pretty sure i got high off the fumes.. Lol! Thanks for the video it helped!!!
@LexiRaeB there really isn't a best brand, every color is different in the water & it just takes a lot of trial & error to find the ones that work well – the colors I use are always listed in the information box. You want one with good pigmentation, maybe a little on the thick side but thin enough to drip & above all slow-drying. HTH =)
No way! They look like you had them done! Do you think this would work with acrylic or just the ones you glue on? I tend to bite my nails if they aren't done lol!
@neesharocky1 if you don't clean up the excess, it can stick to your nail & ruin the design. It’s mostly dry within a few minutes, then I use a quick-drying top coat =)
I love ur manicures! I am getting into nail swirl art! Here is a tip to help get the nail polish up from the surface faster! Blow on the top of the cup so the nail polish dries faster and you can pick it up in one swoop! Hope this helped! (:

@DoubleAShowaanda yes - if you have short nails you just get less of the design, so it's very important where you dip your nail - check out my short nails marble with my mom as hand model for some tips =)
@jjlovesred Are you using room temperature filtered water? Also keep in mind that not all polish works - the brand doesn't really matter but every color is different in the water & it just takes a lot of trial & error to find the ones that work well. You want one with good pigmentation, maybe a little on the thick side but thin enough to drip & above all slow-drying. HTH =)
@lvbrown1216 My 3 main tips to prevent bubbles would be: make sure there are none in the polish before you dip you nail (you can pop those), dip in & out slowly, and make sure to get rid of any water drops on your nail - if they won't drip or shake off, you can use the corner of a paper towel to absorb them. HTH =)
@saxophonista4 I think the red sort of looks like purple, on the edge of it and the white. But only the white has that sort of pinkish tone. I wonder how you could get a more pronounced separation of the colors. Maybe a clear nail polish in between...? Not sure.

@shellyrl like bubbles or like thick polish? if it's thick polish, just use fewer drops - My 3 main tips to prevent bubbles would be: make sure there are none in the polish before you dip you nail (you can pop those), dip in & out slowly, and make sure to get rid of any water drops on your nail - if they won't drip off, you can use the corner of a paper towel to absorb them. HTH =)

i tried doing that but i didntvwork do you have any tips?
Star101Ali 6 months ago
@Star101Ali Are you using room temperature filtered water? Also keep in mind that not all polish works - the brand doesn't really matter but every color is different in the water & it just takes a lot of trial & error to find the ones that work well. You want one with good pigmentation, maybe a little on the thick side but thin enough to drip & above all slow-drying. HTH =)
