All you have to do in logic is assign the buttons in learn key commands . . . well easier than using that shit editor program

Oh, BTW. If you have Windows 7, they just released the beta driver so this keyboard will work with it.

Question:

The two "wheels" above the keyboard to the left, (which I believe control pitch and modulation)...

Do they both "return" to the centerized position after being moved around? The pitch does, I'm sure, but the other?

This is the same for all keyboards [I don't know any where it's not the same].

The pitch bend always goes back in the middle, the modulation stays where U place it.

no it doesnt. However on the novation remote sl you can choose to spring the mod wheel

The pitch returns smoothly and there has moderate tension. The other wheel stays where you leave it and has light tension.

QUESTION:

I want to record guitar bass keyboard voices midi (pretty much everything), i'm considering an interface and a controller.

i've read some bad reviews about KB37 so i was wondering if it's a good decision to get the line6 UX2 and m-audio oxygen 8 v2 instead.

MaghoxFr: I've got a UX2 and it's a great interface, especially if you're just doing home recording. I've never had any serious issues with latency etc and the sound quality seems pretty good. Also the Line 6 software (gearbox) has a pretty good range of effects, even though i normally find it better adding them in after having recorded (GuitarRig is a good option).

yeah it comes with ableton live lite 4. If you go to the m-audio website you can upgrade to the latest version of ableton live lite for free. its a really good program!

just to let everyone know if you do have logic 8 for the mac then it supplies its own on screen keyboard by pressing caps this is even better as its saves even more space cubase 5 i dont know havent used it yet

Not too much tech crap, just the basic stuff about the keyboard: what's cool, what's not, and this looks like real life so I assume I'm gonna go through the same experience when I get one of these. i have the oxygen 8 v2 and fl studio 8... all you have to do is plug it in and go 2 midi ettings and enable the controller.. i got mine to work in 3 mins...

Not this one, this one is only a midi controller, that means that this only send signals to the desired software from the keyboard, what u need is a Midi controller with a interface wich would let u get control over the software also will allow u record whatever u want ... for example KeyStudio49i from M-Audio as well.. if u don't care about controlling get any Midi/Audio Interface.

The Oxygen 8 v2, the newest version is available in 49 and 61 key versions. The original Oxygen 8 didn't.
