@edro3111 We don't have Counties in Scotland, they are called Regions, so Ayrshire is a Region, but you would just say from Ayrshire (the shire is pronounced like the the 'shir' in shirt, not sh-y-r like they say for English Counties). Its not a criticism, I just thought you might be tnterested. So Edinburgh is in Midlothian Region, Glasgow - Strathclyde. Like you might say Las Vegas, Nevada, not Las Vegas, Nevada State.
