@HillaryfansforBarack Uh, no. He signed legislation that did away with the Glass-Steagall Act, thus allowing banks to gamble, leading to the financial débâcle of 2008.
Clinton also signed the Telecommunications Act allowing corporations to gobble up Mom `n Pop radio stations around the country. That's why most everything on your broadcast radio sounds the same.
Reagan, Bush, Clinton, Bush Jr... all very destructive presidents. The last 2 "greatest presidents" were JFK and Eisenhower. Period.
And this is why he won the campaign. He had writers that were just amazing doing these ads and his speeches. Bill Clintons propaganda machine is second only to Obamas in recent memory. (Yes, I know the term propaganda has a negative connotation, I am not saying he brainwashed people into voting for him or anything like that)
Clinton was clearly one of our best presidents. He was so great that he was able to kick-start the greatest economic expansion we'd seen 9 months before even taking office.
@pholland Uh, no.

I actually would have liked to see Hillary get elected. Put Clinton back in the white house. It kind of would have been ironic to have the last 4 presidents be named, Bush, Clinton, Bush, and Clinton. but that's not the case. However, when it came down to Obama or McCain, it was pretty easy to go with Obama.
@ballrude1 Clinton only inherited a bad economy. Obama inherited a BAD economy, two out of control wars, Osama Bin Laden, Bad world image, Financial crisis, declining manufacturing, etc. Now the economy is slowly turning around, Iraq war is over, improved world image, Bin Laden was killed, financial system was restored, and US manufacturing is leading this recovery. There is a lot more work to do, we cannot go back to failed policies.
@wangsta25 If you had a half-good brain, you'd at least realize that Communists and Nazi followed two completely different forms of ideology. As the very non-partisan Congressional Budget Office pointed out, he gave us a balanced budget in his last three years in office. Don't assume this assume could've been brought by the Republicans, because they had no two-thirds majority in Congress at the time-which is enough to override a president's veto- and it was wasted away when Bush entered office
@wangsta25 Did you also not look up how he destroyed the leftist regime of Savic tyrannt Slobodan Milosevic either? Where the hell were you when Kosovo was under seige in 1999 and Clinton responded with firm aggression that put an end to the brute Milosevic's reign of terror? Milosevic's army was practically forced to turn against him after Clinton bombed the shit out of his miltary's heart and he couldn't even rig the election that tossed him out of the Presidency the following year. Wake up
@hulkyone when did i say i supported Socialist regimes? Typical tea bagging, if i follow an idea u assume me 2 follow it 2 its fullest extent. Just because i like a MODERATE liberal like Clinton u assume me 2 support corrupted ultra leftist regimes. No, I don't support Mao Zedong or Joseph Stalin.
@wangsta25 There's no way the moronic buffoons in the Pee Party will be able to be "on his ass" for saying that. That idiotic buffoon Newt Gingrich wasn't even "on his ass" when he tried to impeach him at the same time he was secretly having an affair himself.
@wangsta25 I can judge, from your account page, that you have favored videos with Democrats in them. When you attack the Tea Party, don't type that they'll be "on his ass for being a Communist/Nazi;" to some, it seems like you are praising them by typing this. You need to call them names like the Pee Party and type things like "they'll throw a pathetic, little hissy fit and try to actually convince people he's a Communist/Nazi."
@hulkyone Ur exactly wat i'm talking about. judging from ur constant trolling on this page u prob didn't get the sarcasm my comment, I'm POINTING OUT that Tea Baggers DON'T KNOW wat a commie and Nazi is. Communism is mostly an economic system while Nazism is a form of fascism.
Bill clinton is one of my favorite presidents!!!! he worked with congress, he kept a balenced budget, and i love that line "welfare is a second chance not a way of life"!
@thejobloshow Thats because Obama is a fucking joke...Look at him....what experience does he have compared to our other presidents....what qualified him to hold the title as "commander and chief"?? PLEASE answer that if you can, because I truly cant...
@Gaffhart77 Compared to Palin, Obama is the most qualified president ever. Palin has a 1in 3 chance of becoming president because of mccains bad health if they had won. Imagine that for a second.
@sanjacraven36 You are a retard. Palin was the mayor of a tiny town in alaska and governor of alaska for less than 2 years, she had to go to three different universities to get a shitty degree in media. Obama went to Harvard, was a constitutional scholar and senator for Illinois. Which one do you think it more qualified? Wait don't answer that, you'll get it wrong again!
@JonnyPxN Obama was a senator, Palin was a mayor and a governer. If youre saying Palin is not qualified to be president, I agree with you. But to say that obama is more qualified??? Idiotic!
@sanjacraven36 a) senator has more responsibilities than being the mayor of a ridiculously small Alaskan town or of the least densely populated state in the union. b) Palin though you could see Russia from her town and that Africa was a country. c) she needed to go to THREE universities to get some crappy communications degree. He went to Harvard and was a constitutional scholar. If anyone can uphold the constitution it is him.
@sanjacraven36 How big was the town in which she was mayor again? He's done a decent job. You have to remember that george bush gave him a financial crisis and two unpopular wars. It's ironic that we are on the 1992 election campaign, because like obama, clinton did terrible at the mid term re election for senate seats etc but still got back in in 1996.
@JonnyPxN It doesnt matter how small of a town it was. It's still leadership experience. And btw, you are wrong! She was not governor of alaska for less than 2 years. George Bush??? Really??? You are really going to blame George Bush for the financial crisis??? This conversation is over because you know absolutely nothing about politics!
@sanjacraven36 You are a retard. When did I say george bush created the crisis? I said he GAVE it to him, e.g. it started while he was in tenure, and then obama had to deal with the consequences. Secondly, did you realise how stupid she is? She had to go to three different unis to get one degree! It took her longer than usual too! She thinks evolutions is not fact and that africa was a country. You want this woman to be speaking to russias leaders on complex issues? LOL Bye!
@JonnyPxN I doubt he was ever in danger after the 1994 loss. I compare it to a similar issue that Eisenhower had experienced in 1954. After Joseph McCarthy lost influence after the 1954 midterm election, Eisenhower had no chance of not being re-elected. It was the same with Clinton and universal health care. It's a shame that he didn't have a filibuster-proof majority either; that way, the bill could've been passed without delay. Tom Foley and George Mitchell also sucked.
@sanjacraven36 Clinton only inherited a bad economy.
@aperez5243 Nope, Papa Bush wasn't as bad as junior. He was far from great, but he had more common sense. When Colin Powell told him NOT to go into Iraq he listened. When the secretary of the treasury told him if he didn't raise taxes the economy would tank, he raised taxes, even though he had promised not to. Otherwise he was kind of like a stop-gap president, like Gerald Ford, but with a full term. Him throwing up on the Chinese Prime Minister's lap sums up his term in office.
Because the death penalty sends SUCH a strong message to criminals.
If I was ever planning to commit murder, I would say "Okay, if I can be executed for this, I won't do it. But if I'll just get life in prison, that's okay."
