  • ok nice

  • Yeah cuz i got a solar power lamp in my APARTMENT

  • Nice!!! Gotta LOVE the Dead Batteries XD

  • u should sell a kit to people, and make several on how to recycle their batteries.

  • awesome!! gonna try out this !! "watch this space"

  • Nice Video That You Share , So Very Nice Thanks You See how you can use a cordless drill as a crank charger to recharge batteries, even alkalines

  • I Really Like The Video From Your See how you can use a cordless drill as a crank charger to recharge batteries, even alkalines!

  • Your Video Is Very Useful Sharing See how you can use a cordless drill as a crank charger to recharge batteries, even alkalines

  • this is a free method sounds cool, you would be paying to charge your batteries from your wall

  • I have a charger for my batteries to and it connects to my wall not a power drill

  • dada

  • or just use a recharger ;D

  • Nice job, MacGyver. I wouldn't recharge the regular batteries now, but back in the 80s when they were pricey my sister used to heat them a little and they would last a couple more songs in her walkman.

  • lololololololol whoever tries this is really really stupid!!!!! Unless you would like to find out how acid burn feels like and maybe if you lucky it will ignite too.....what a Douche

  • Really good! Does it actually work?

  • Comment removed

  • sweet but just get rechargable batteries and a battery charger

  • just buy rechargeable batteries

  • @ackroh yes your right

  • Hi, Very interesting. I tried to hook up a voltage regulator to my drill to test the crank but meter did not move. What did you have your multlmeter set to? Thanks

  • Ummm, NO NORMAL MOTHERFUCKER SHOULD HAVE A FUCKING EXTRA SOLAR POWERED GARDEN LAMP JUST LAYING AROUND

  • @Gino6123 thank you!!!

  • @Gino6123 yes, oh YES we do ! ! !

  • also blowing on the positive terminal will recharge the battery on an xbox remote you will get aprox 20 mins more with one blow which is better than nothing test it for your self :)

  • Yes , very clever. Except the bit about non rechargable batteries. The point is, they are NON RECHARGEABLE !

I used to work in a phone repair place. Most common fault, people putting non rechargeable batteries in a phone with a charger in the base. The batteries would leak, filling the phone with corrosive goo. Don't do it !

  • u could use one more drill to spin the drill

  • 99% of the comments on this video were made by idiots who missed the whole point of the demonstration, and were to stupid to even follow what he said! This world is doomed. Thanks!

  • Really the point of a hand crank is you don't need to plug it in . i was just with out power for a week after last snow storm. that being said all motors can be used for this application provided thy are big enough to produce the charge needed. this was just a real easy and clear way to show how it can be done if needed. and the charge regulator from the solar lamp is brilliant i doubt you could build one from radio shack for less then the 3 bucks one of those lights cost.

  • @ramsessilent ....did you know that this method is also used for composing the songs currently on charts? .....i seek pole shift survival group

  • You watched a know how video, You gained 1000XP

    Level UP!

  • instead of buying all that im just going to buy a battery charger, you know less cost

  • why not use another rechargeable drill connected through the collars using a simple straight piece of rounded or squared metal

  • I would hook this drill to a car's wheel, and charge every battery in a second! :P

  • Instead of The Crank method why not use a 5.0 plugin adapter instead, that gives you spare time to roll another joint.

  • great tip!!

  • HATEUUUURS!

  • Let me just shit that voltage regulater out my ass

  • IM NOT A FUCKIN ROCKIT SCIETIST!!!

  • Wouldn't it be easier to buy new battery's than spend even more money on supplies for a charger?

  • @lazycrowd everyone who ahs this equipment can save some money

  • Oh, question: is the dude in the video saying something like "rechargeable batteries can be recharged, so do not throw them away"? Man the things some people post when creativity tortures them...

  • For $5 you can buy a damn battery charger! How about them apples? Oh, NEVER EVER try to charge nonchargeable batteries, unless you want them exploding in your face or setting fire to the house...

  • see all the scary movie people do this before they go to see what that "loud scary noise" was and thats why there flashlights all ways go out for no fucking reason

  • Dudes its just a physics project, just let it go. I think it's pretty neat. I do a lot of low-voltage experiments that involve double A batteries and they die really fast in most cases and keep buying them end up costing too much and using rechargeable batteries will not work as they only 1.2V, Now I can recharge them.

  • I take mine out of my xbox controller, put them in the charger, take others out of charger, put into controller... and repeat.

  • wow, i actualy did this my self, I also noticed how well sollar chargers work on regular batteries, my solar light works almoust 2 month on same battery, and rechargeble batterys that came with it died faster then battery in same charger!!!

  • @spartangun98 at the hardware store???? At a garden shop???? Internet???? Think!!

  • were do u get cheep solar outdoor lamp please pm me

  • @spartangun98 i buy 4pack of rechargeble garden lights for $20 at BigLots long time ago.

  • from dollar shop

  • @gogetarule ok thanks

  • lol battery resurrection

  • it costs $3.00 and the battery costs $1.00 -_-

  • @thekingdoody Please tell me where on earth you can buy a battery for $1, for that matter tell me where on earth i can find any 1 battery for $3 ? and if say Homier or generic then your comment makes all the sense in the world gomer lol.RRRRRetard.

  • wdf

  • why is every one to stupid to understand anything of this?

  • NIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEERRRRRRRRRR!!!!

  • @TBone100100 how ignorant can you be? You attempt to lable someone but insted show your fears. enjoy the hole that you live in.

  • WTF IS THIS SHIT DUDE I DONT EVEN KNOW WHERE TO GET ALL THAT SHIT

  • @blackops4ever11 HomeDepo ring a Bell? or u Scared of Mexican Day-Laboorers..

  • wtf i dont haave all dat shit

  • this HAS TO BE FOR POOR PEOPLE

  • Thank you for the post. It is a good idea to have this knowledge in case you run into an emergency and need a battery real quick.

  • you sir are a retard, I DON'T HAVE ANY OF THAT SHIT!

  • You are a genius! When SHTF you will always be able to recharge your batteries! My drill is definitely going into one of my bug out bags.

Best video I ever saw that didn't have hooters in it.

  • Ummmmm i think ill just go ,to, the 99 cents store and get 100 of them? or just buy RECHARGABLE!!!!! batteries.

  • stupidity

  • Interesting video. Thanks.

  • I have a solar panel that charged a battery that was 1.2 volt nicid. How can i charge a 9 volt alkaline safely to power a set of LED lights. (also from the lamp) ????

  • This is ingenius. Never thought of the power drill. But it's shocking to see from the comments how far behind the world really is. F*ing walmart generation. I am sure all those Japanese earthquake victims just went to the stores and bought new things as well. And I wonder what ppl in the Third World are complaining about. After all they could go and buy stuff, too. And let's not forget to throw things out and replace them when a new fad starts. Consumerism puppets!

  • HOLI FUCK BATERY ACID IN MY FUCKIN EYES!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Thats Way To Complicated I'd Rather Ran My Ass To The Store Even Though Its Like All The Way Across Town Damn Man I Don't Have Most That Stuff Sure I'll "Have Fun" Not Doing That Haha

  • U CANT RECHARGE U DUMB NONE RECHARGEABLE BATTARIES!!!! OMG!

  • Don't throw away your dead batteries, Just spend $121 dollars trying to charg dead batteries. BUY RECHARGEABLE BATTERIES FOR GOD SAKE!

  • @LostInTheGame15 Um there is no such difference, that was the whole point of the video but some people I guess. You were never told or thought what the real difference between the two were...? That's just it! THERE IS NO DIFFERENCE! :S Why do people believe in every little thing they tell us to?????

  • FOR ALL POSITIVE OR NEGATIVE COMMENTS HERE: let's use our capacities...

and if one is not willing to be ''slave of the handcrank system'',... you could power it with a bike and some pulleys (average INTERESTED man (and even women!) could make this, or a little windmill, preferably the vertical axis one (saphonius mill) with it's ax attached in the drill, and the drill mounted in a clamping-support system of wood which hold it firmly. Do some research on the web instead of watching tv and ...

  • @DFieldsJr HOW lol im at night and cant go t othe store even when the next day comes cause i mostly have to wait to get new 1s

  • Lmaooo i Know Right Just Buy A 2 Dollar Double AA Or Buy At Least 5 Dollars Worth Of Equipment Which Might Not even Work

  • @DFieldsJr Sure diptsick! And where will you get the money from? Mug some-one? This man isn't shoving his discovery down you neck. He's sharing what he's discovered with any-one wishing to learn something. Were you forced to watch this vid? Dipstick!

  • @DFieldsJr Then why did you look this video up in the first place?...

  • @DFieldsJr and trow the old in nature to pollute? GREAT IDEA

  • @soulblaser this is for cheap bastards who cant go to the dollar store to buy the cheapest batteries!!!

  • @DFieldsJr or a renu it

  • nice trick dude ty

  • If you charge a non rechargeable battery it can explode. Usually the electrodes are actually eaten away as the baProxy-Connection: keep-alive

    Cache-Control: max-age=0

ery is used which prevents them from being recharged. If the battery says not to recharge it,%2

  • How do we make our own generator?

  • What's the point of the solar light?

  • neat

just use another drill to turn the charger, whamo!!

    al

  • ok ok im just gonna go argos now and buy a charger.

  • great idea, I think I may try it, but use a drill to turn it and put a good charge on em

  • oh fuck dude i takeing you idea this thing works who new i thought this was a piece of crap but it works

  • sad fucker!

  • I had a spare drill hanging around and did just this and it worked great! Great Idea since I was going to throw it away! Thanks!

  • i made this but i hooked it up to a light becuase i could not find are solar lights (think they got thrown away) and impressed everyone in my family even my grandma she thought it was cool i tried to power my can opener with it and it did not work to well... Thanks for making this!!!

  • cuz every1 has a fuckin voltage regulater lying around -_-

  • @OmGiTzKainen some people do in their garage

  • @OmGiTzKainen

You can buy one under 1 EUR!

  • @OmGiTzKainen omg rite rite

  • @OmGiTzKainen OMG He told you exactly where to get one, he never said it was a common household good, Why would you bother even worrying about it, what could possibly manifest out of your mank to possibly justify you ever being likely to even use this, you cant even spell regulator. And Firefox even spell checks FOR you. You are the type of person that is the reason for all the safety regulations are in the world today, so heavily.

    Piss off !!!

  • @OmGiTzKainen

Ikr! Haha I Need To Charge My Batteries In My Xbox Remote Dammit!

  • @OmGiTzKainen well i do haha xD
