Now it's very hard to archieve high ratings with hunter druid.

@cat4luny4 At the time it was pretty hard still too. Out of the top 100 in our battlegroup 90% of the teams had druids on them, and druid hunter only had 3-4 of those spots. Druid / Hunter has a lot of utility, but it takes a lot more timing and skill to do well with it. From what I hear it's pretty similar still.

i prefer hunter and warrior, or a rogue, druids are almost uselles to me, my friend warrior is arms, but he changes stances during battle, uses intercept,and a lot of fury stuff, and then change to arms to crit and take more damage because of the talents. that's why he's the only warrior who kills me

The shaman and warry were kinda noobs. I personally am warrior and got 2100 raiting with restro shammy and i think hunter dudu is easiest combo. Only thing needed to do is to keep purge on dudu and also shaman should help with some dmg liek bolts and slowing down effects. mostly in first 50 secs of fight dudu is down + heroism and the job is done.

Well it was only the 1600's, so there were tons of noobs just carried by gear. Shaman Warrior was definitely one of the more difficult matches for us. As we got better we had to discard the strategy we used in this vid and went with a new one that worked better. Cyclone trap bash silence shot on shaman and a cyclone on warrior while the shaman was able to heal, continuing the rotation until they finally went down. Easier said than done of course. My newest wow vid shows this strat in the 1800s.

You're pretty decent when it comes to arena man but why even bother recording when it looks so shitty?

I honestly think in this case it's really more your software than your hardware. I would really suggest using something else to edit/produce your videos.

Yeah it was the first vid I'd really done. I was using windows movie maker and trying to figure out the best way to upload vids amid constant WMM crashing. So when I got something that was even 1/4 decent I just said screw it and uploaded it.

Once I started using Adobe to edit my vids things started looking pretty good. Check out my two newer arena vids. Never did get them uploaded in HD unfortunately, but they're still far better than this one.

Adobe is ftw. I use CS4 Premiere Pro. You might just need to change your settings if you're using Adobe and get some proper HD output going.

I know I clicked a lot. I was new to pvp, and had never needed to learn keybinds to do well in pve. It takes more than a day to get proficient with keybinds.

If you had looked at the vids I released a month or two down the road, you would have seen that the clicking was completely gone ;)

It goes Frost Trap, Cyclone, Cyclone while killing the other person. Then Cyclone the person who you where trying to kill till the hunter can trap again for a never ending CC. This is the only map I hate playing against a shaman since they can hide there totems so well.

Well it was the 1600's, most people in that range didn't have the best gear yet. Warrior / Shaman teams lost to Druid Hunter teams no matter what their gear if you could work them correctly. Check out my priest rogue / shaman warrior / druid rogue video if you want to see a much better strategy than the one used on this vid.

At the time, we were trying to play our setup as a drain team against any healer / dps setup. So I just focused on staying alive first, and helping out with cc's on the warrior.

It worked fine for the 1600's, but once we got to the 1700's and above we realized that any shaman / druid worth anything wouldn't get mana drained by a hunter before his partner RNG'd one of us down. My newer vid with us vs priest rogue / shaman warrior / druid rogue shows the strat we used to combat that :)

Well, in my defense I was a beginner in pvp and arenas. Yes I clicked, and yes I was bad. I'd been doing arena healing for less than a month (minus the 10 games a week until I had the gear and found a serious arena partner) when I made this vid. Look at my newer vids and you'll see the clicking is gone :)

Now on the music taste, I'll have to disagree. But to each their own :) Though none of my newer vids have vocals and it's more dance type music than rock. Check them out :)

You guys did good. The druid did a great job downing the totems. Were you using rank 1 moonfire though? You should utilize bear form/charge/bash more often. This is a very though win for hunter/druid. GJ guys

Thanks :) I had a rank 1 moonfire totem stomper macro up, but really didn't use it as much as I should have. I think it got used once in this video. I'm at about 98% keybindings now, and use it everytime I have a free global cooldown and some totems in LOS :)

I definitely agree on the bear form / charge / bash. At that time, I was under the impression that it was usually better to heal and run away than to sit in bear. Now that I'm up against more powerful warriors I've seen the light :)

I don't mean to sound like an ass or anything, but a lot more solid approach to sham/war as hunter/druid is to keep the shammy chain cc'd while you and your hunter nuke the warrior down. (Too hard to drain shammies with water shield!)

Not at all :) ooming the shaman definitely doesn't work outside of the 1600s. We've switched to a rotation of freezing trap and two cyclones on the shaman while rooting the warrior. Cyclone the warrior when the DR is up on the shaman, silence shot, do it all over again. Keep rotating that and the warrior goes down after both their trinkets are gone as long as he doesn't get some good RNG on me.

Make sure your hunter keeps Scorpid Sting on the warrior.

The most important one is to both keep rotating CC on the warrior. After Entangle, have your hunter freeze him. After the frost trap is over, cyclone him, entangle, then retrap and keep repeating. Hunter/Druid has powerful CC and can keep a target CC'd 90% of the game.

Worst case, they might try to ghostwolf to get out of it, but that will cost them more mana (and a GCD!) than your root if you downrank it. :)

Only the best to you and your partner! Learning to keybind is harsh, but it is SO worth it (as you're probably well on your way to figuring out by this point), and once you gear up a little more, I'm certain you will be able to creep up the arena ladders with practice. :)

not only for feral charge (since it interrupts spell casts as well as lets you catch up to fleeing folks ;) ), but bash, as it's a nice, mana-free stun for when you DRs are up on root or cyclone, or you simply need to buy yourself a little extra space.

Great job keeping the pet alive, by the way! :D

Also: since shaman have no defensive dispel, you can also root them (and downrank said root to save mana ;) ), to help your hunter catch up to them.

As far as C&C for this video: You did a great job smashing totems via mace, but you can also use a rank 1 moonfire to get them at range. :) Likewise: make sure you make good use of bear form

Yeah, 10 games a week REALLY isn't enough to learn how to do better. I started doing arenas with a warrior, and after we'd done 10 games he'd only be willing to play until we lost, then he'd be done for the week. I'd ask him to practice more, and he wouldn't. That really isn't enough to learn how to play arenas better, so once I broke 300 resilience I found a new partner.
