trans am are squirrelly and will dog walk on ya if your to heavy on the foot. also weld a piece of metal to the frame to cover up the front bottom lip of the oil pan cause if not you hit a jump (uneven intersection) you will put a hole in the pan if you dont have it covered.still have a custom speaker box that holds 2 12"s for the t-top cubby hole if anyone needs one. will move serious air from the bass...shake your hat off!! just a few tidbits...

The WS6 and SS F-bodies were rated at 305 hp from factory so...+15hp for cam=320 +25hp for Longtubes=345hp + about 10-12hp full exhaust = about 355hp so he is in the ballpark

I almost have to agree. The LT1 font ends look amazing with the Ram air. So far I have Forged 383 Rotating asy. MTI-R1 cam, Worked 241 heads, Mosor 12 Bolt, and STG 2 tranz. thats the major stuff, and of course full bolt ons, ect... what about yours?

wooo dang i wish i had all that done to mine! right now she only has 373 gears, 52mm TB, ws6 carbon fiber hood with RAM AIR, ls1 drive shaft, dynomax cat back exhaust. its not much but once i get another car ill be able to tear into her a little more. right now shes just my daily driver so i really cant pull the motor over night ya know ;) ive always wondered.. when you forge the LT1 to a 383 wouldnt you get cooling problems?

Thats a decent set up to start with. Is yours an M6 Or A4? It is hard to build a daily driver, the cam is really easy to do in a day if you have done it before, or have help. Then you will just have to limp around for a while untill you can get a tune. The 383 didn't cause any cooling problems, I am still running the stock radiator. The fans are set to 160* but other than than nothing has changed with the cooling system, and it hardly ever goes above 190*
