Phil's guitar treatments courtesy of former Roxy member Brian Eno. Also, Roxy's bass player around this time was to be John Wetton, the powerhouse bassist of the 1973-1974 King Crimson. What a time!

Yes, in the Spring of '76. We had sixth row seats at Kleinhan's Music Hall. Blackfoot opened, what a mismatch, people heckled them off stage, and they were good, but everyone wanted ROXY!!

Phil has been talking about the re-release of 801 Live as a double album with the original ending of Third Uncle restored and inclusion of other tracks that were omitted, possibly Fat Lady of Limbourg. It was supposed to be released last year, but no sign of it yet. Any word???

asked at HMV store last week 801 Live not available, Grr wish it was, totally want that, Diamond Head on that is simply amazing. Let's hope re release coming soon, please post if you hear anything

Phil Manzanera is soooooo underappreciated outside the fraternity of guitarists. Thanks for sharing this proof of his prodigious talent.
