I think black pikmin should be ice resistant... And also the more you have in a dungeon, the brighter it gets. As for above-ground pikmin, as your character rises in altitude, his pikmin get slower and weaker, but green pikmin get stronger and faster, and also have the homimg ability, rather than purples. Orange pikmin should carry bomb rocks, and dig up treasures faster. I would like to see more onions, however that can't be too stratigcally done... Please, tell me what you think!

Funny everyone thinks there will be a "new" pikmin species in particular altough at this stage a new species of pikmin may not be neccesarry. Although a new species might be interesting, Miyamoto has done pretty good at wrapping around the idea of elements and therefore obstacles (fire=red, blue=water,yellow=elec,white=p­oison,purple=heft) So to coutinue in such a way leads little move for development(flying could be interesting but unlikely.)

Black:I have no real idea..Idea 1: Probably bug-like pikmin sorta thing. they Can Fly, and have really strong offense when fighting enemies. kinda like purples. Are as fast as white pikmin. But are weak when carrying things (2 black pikmin=1 red pikmin) Idea 2: Works well in the dark (1 black pikmin= 5 red pikmin) in the dark as in...underground and nearing nigtime.

Orange: Better Reds (5x stronger in everything) Are a bit faster;can stand fire

Green's Abilities:Works Well With Plants..stuff like that... ehm.. When carrying something mechanical or artificial, 2 green pikmin = 1 red pikmin (yes im comparing to reds). but when they carry Berry's like that stuff Natural Stuff,1 green pikmin= 2 red pikmin. When fighting, their power is equal to reds. Can swim.

Pink:Fastest, but the weakest (2 pink pikmin=1 red pikmin) that goes for carrying and attacking

Shadow (black) pikmin? that sounded too overpowered. You could have the black pikmin as the enemie pikmin instead.

I think that was the point, the planet has to be kind of mysterious. You just find items that we are familiar with, but Olimar or whatever is not. I think that captains, however many they are, should be Captains, not pikmin helpers. So no specdial abilities. But cyan pikmin is an good idea compared to others.
