Thanks! Does anyone know how to get the the blue route line onto the Maps app too? So if I were to make a custom route and tweak the line to what I want, I could send that to my email and it open in the Maps app rather than the shitty Google Maps web page.
I've followed this through, but it's not working for me. I admit I'm doing things a little different. I'm not after seeing markers, but a route. It's not my maps but a friend's maps. As I said, I followed the steps, minus a few changes, I used his uid and end up with his list of maps / routes. However when I load them up, I don't see the routes I was after.
Hmmm . . Google Earth is the answer, allows you to see the "KML" routes
It's a bummer, somehow Google has disabled this. I truly don't understand why we can't access our maps on our iPhones. It's insane.
