I heard this series on a local radio station based in Fort Smith, Arkansas ... 97.9 Z98, if I remember right, around 1986 or 1987 ! (the station is B98 now)

When I was in the service at Wichita Falls Texas they played this every morning. Don't know where you heard it but I heard it there around 88
