You get the blinkers off. Many non old firm supporters I talk to say Laudrup was better. Larsson was a great striker but had nowhere near Laudrups skill. And when laudrup played celtic were resurgent under tommy burns and only lost the last two leagues of nine in a row by a few points.

Larsson was a great goalscorer but without decent service he was useful as tits on a bull.

Laudrup could take on a defence single handedly and stick one in the top corner. That was often ten times more effective than Larssons brand of diving into the box.

Ah, I see what you mean and you may be right, but it is hard to measure because as I said they play in different positions.

I think there is a tendency to overrate strikers generally because they score the goals and get the glory when more often than not it is the players behind them who should get the credit. But I think we can both agree that theyre great players and having them both on the same team would have been awesome to watch.
