  • good man!! keep practicing, rock on.

  • man u rock dont listen to the haters bet there just jeules cuz they suk i have the same amp too i usally set my mid on 11 put it on crunch and put the treble on 5 and i have a pretty good lead sound

  • Seriously guys don't hate on DragonForce. They are probably one of the most original bands you would hear out there today plus they're just plain badass. Don't get mad at them just because you can't play TTFAF on guitar hero, and don't act like slow music is the only music out there worth listening to. It's all music but the difference is DragonForce is just faster than 99% of all the bands in the world and their playing is real. One more thing, YEAH WEEPING DEMON!!!!!!

  • @TrueDragonForceFan10 I wouldn't say 99%, I'd say more like 90% because a lot of metal bands play as fast as Dragonforce or faster.

  • @KingOfNynex2003 I only say 99% because most of the bands I hear are usually alot slower than them. And even if their not DragonForce is still more original than alot of those bands IMO.

  • @cactus445566 No? Why?

  • @TrueDragonForceFan10 In my opinion they don't show any of the things you said that do. They're not very original; their music doesn't "stand out" for me compared to the rest of the metal genre; same ridiculously fast drum beat, repeated guitar licks, etc.

  • @cactus445566 Those are reasons I can actually respect because they do use the same drum beat over and over again in their songs and occasionally a few of the same guitar licks. They're music probably dosn't stand out for you and thats fine but in my opinion whenever I hear their stuff, I KNOW it's their stuff. I couldn't find any other power metal bands that sound like DragonForce. So the only thing i'd have to disagree with is you saying they're not original but it's your opinion so whatever.

  • @TrueDragonForceFan10 except they are the worst band ever live. and id day most metal bands play faster then them.

  • @TrueDragonForceFan10 And theirs a difference between playing fast and sounding good.

  • @ryanwinklevoss That's funny because everytime I listen to their songs I hear melody, and I hear nice clean chords to complament the melodys. It might be only power chords played at 200 bpm and some crazy fast solos later in the song but it IS music weather most people want to admit it or not. And in my opinion they do both of the things you mentioned that you said were different. So go ahead and tell me why there can't be fast music that sounds good at the same time.

  • keep up the good work :)

your character is certainly admirable seeing as im too scared to upload any vids of myself for fear of even the smallest criticism :P

  • dude, dont listen to the haters, they are probably jealous of your two great wah, i wish i had the 535q, im stuck with a 35 dollar used crybaby that needs a lot of fixes to get better lol. just keep practicing dude, dont let anyone criticize you of what u got

  • Do you still play?

  • @BestCoolGuy22 a little bit but not much since I'm trying to get my magic and Watkins business going right now.

  • when u say u cant afford a marshall amp... but ur guitar is worth about 1.3k isnt it?

  • @bikingandshizz it was about $600 I think, don't remember anymore.

  • wow that was great

  • Pretty guitar, looks really awesome, thanks for the review. I think I prefer the Weeping Demon over Cry Baby, but that´s just my opinion. Good day

  • Keep up the practicing man!

  • i don't like line 6's. they are mushy. i owned one about 6 years ago but i've heard them since and i really don't even like the bogners. get an orange crush or a vox valvetronix (my recommendation.) they sound awesome, and are under 200$ if you get a model that is comparable to that spider.

  • I takes all kind's now does it or does it not, that is the question. Nice guitar, but to me with no hand's down it's really no contest, for it's the Ibanez. I do not like how Ibanez is made, but I do like the sound of the Weeping Demon!!!!!!

  • everyone who's saying this guys shit are all fags!!! im sure YOU had to start some where. keep up the good work man, you WILL get better and dont worry bout the haters. :)

  • prestige made in japan??

    nice guitar man =)

  • So you're not the best guitarist in the world, but you have an expensive Ibanez. Surely you EXPECT to get a beating from YouTubers who might be more accomplished players than you but who are struggling with crappy gear. That's their problem, not yours. I play an Ibanez S6320 Prestige through a 6' Marshall stack because I can afford it and because it makes me happy. If people can't afford gear as nice as yours then maybe they should have worked harder at school and got a better job. Keep prac

  • DRAGONFORCE REALLY?????? half the solos in their guitar solos are all synths

worship a good band like zepplin

  • @Sk8bordr125 I like all metal bands equally, at least the one's I've listened to that is, which are Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden, Metallica, Judas Priest, Slayer, Megadeth, Ozzy Osbourne, Dream Theater, Dio (may he rest in peace), Mercyful Fate, Alice In Chains, Soundgarden, Korn, Faith No More, Mötley Crüe, ACDC, Yngwie Malmsteen, System Of A Down, Slipknot (I know what you're going to say but I like them), and Children Of Bodom I could go on but I've used up all of the space for this message.

  • @KingOfNynex2003 Yea but the Best metal Band in my Mind is Megadeath and Ozzy I listen to them the most and i listen to all the bands youve listed to but there in my mind the best

  • @Sk8bordr125 zepplin suck horse ass all 70's rock sucks

  • I love your pure concentration ... Keep rockin Lol

o and btw you are beautiful x

  • hi Nynex,,, @ crybaby in the middle of the pedal opening the sound quickly opens from O to A...the Weeping demon really says AAWWW,,, pls reckon,,,have you tried abusing the weeping demon in the long run? i have a crybaby....after a prolonged abuse the scratchy pot needs replacement, what can you say about the weeping demon? is it still the same? scratchy pot when abused...?

  • @dewalwalers I haven't really used it in a while but when I used to practice everyday with it I would abuse the hell out of it and it still sounded amazing, what would you expect from a wah pedal that Herman Li used to use at every one of his shows?

  • I can't even play Guitar.. I tried learning but I'm just plain crap. I'm very depressed. Don't give up - it's a talent not everyone has

  • @tonyppe u knwo every guitarist was crap when they started u shouldnt be depressed cus u culdnt play smoke on the water, dave mustaine or anyone u like cudlnt even play come as u are even if that song didnt existed xD

  • It's sad you lost interest in playing. You got your hands in one of the finest guitars made in this decade...

  • no it doesn't work! LOL

  • Q: How many people does it take to review a pedal?

    A: 8398

1 to play it and 8398 to criticize.

Nice Ibanez. Just sit and play, for hours, amazing what sounds will come out when you play that long. Takes me a long time to warm up, I won't even play around people till I fiddle at least 30 min. Hey man don't let people get ya down, all it takes is time. Once you start bonding with guitar at about 2 hrs then just go off!! Cheers from Texas!

  • @SpaceAceTX my experience and opinion EXACTLY!

  • @SpaceAceTX well thats clearly 8399 then

  • @Sublime99skill Seriously, does there have to be someone shit on every post with negative bs?

Let me explain, slowly. One person is playing it (not reviewing it), the 8398 are people writing reviews, in other words critiquing his playing. When Siskel & Ebert REVIEW a film it is 2 people, you don't include the actor.

Man this seemed like such a waste of time. Please let it end here, otherwise you will be writing alone, internet fighting doesn't really interest me. Have a good day & relax

  • @SpaceAceTX that's 8399 people altogether then

  • I wish I had that guitar.

Don't quit a second time man! Keep up the good work.

  • pls pls pls pls learn to play better before you do some reviews :) but ty

  • why the fuck would you have all that lovely gear, but not have played in a few months?

  • it's a long and boring story but long story short I lost interest in playing.

  • @KingOfNynex2003 fair enough... what model was the ibanez guitar?

  • @gibsonjoe531531 I think it's the SV5470F Natural Blue..great guitar!!

  • @KingOfNynex2003 ...well I havnt! mind sending me some of your gear?! my ex gf broke some of mine a few months back and I need a new wah and guitar! (she slept with the roommate and when I broke up with her and moved out she lost her mind) lol

  • @KingOfNynex2003 well hey man if you dont really play anymore id be happy to take that guitar off your hands for you and give it a good home haha.

  • @KingOfNynex2003 How much did you pay for the SV prestige? That's a very nice guitar.

  • A lot. But I needed to finance it so I could afford to buy it.

  • Good review. I just ordered the Demon, can't wait to weep!

  • I have a zoom g2 pedal with a noise gate and i wanted to buy a Wah pedal, but i heard that when you install the pedal the noise won't be controllable... IS THAT TRUE ?!!!!!

  • no idea I'm not really the right person to ask about that.

  • @KingOfNynex2003 where do u plug in the pedals on that amp?

  • i have a weeping demon, i like it alot.

i would recommend it to anyone looking for a good wah pedal.

you get alot for your money.

  • hey man we all start somewhere, and the more you practice the better you get ive only been playing for 2 years and im better than some of my friends that have been playing for 5 yrs... i to am not into line 6 either. im more of a randell or krank, or marshall person. Im also a dunlop person thanks for the reviews on these pedals you convinced me which i like more.

  • a little vibrato wouldn't kill you, it is not that difficult

  • yeah I'm not that good at it yet but eventually I will get it.

  • @KingOfNynex2003 don't worry man, just keep on playing..we all lose interest in playing at some point.

  • Great review.

I think that the dunlop is a bit better, but that is just my opinion.

  • Do you have a facebook, sir? I think I might know you!

  • yeah I do.

  • no bashing here man, i will say im not a fan of line 6 but on the wah i have the Kirk Hammett Wah, mostly because its extremely smooth but keep playing man Cheers

  • dude props to ya man. fuck all them pussy ass haters

  • thanks for the video man, this confirms my decision... I'm definitely picking up a weeping demon... and i love that it has two switching options!

  • Nice Guitar. A Marshall DSL401 would totally match it. ;-) You could probably find one for $600 used.

  • yeah it would be a great amp but I'm the type of person that likes to buy things new. that way if something goes wrong with whatever I've bought I can just go back to the dealer I bought it from and get them to fix it if it needs fixed.

  • The fact that you have to put in your description to tell people not to comment on your weight says how ridiculous youtubers are. I wish youtubers weren't so goddamn entitled to rag on people just because they have the anonymity of being behind a computer screen and no one can beat the shit out of them for getting out of line. Play on brotha...

  • Play something better =P

  • I would if I knew something better than that but I've not put in enough practice to learn anything that would be better than this.

  • "I'm not a millionaire"

Then why the hell do you have a Ibanez S prestige!?!

Seriously, since you had the money to buy a top notch Ibanez guitar you could of just got a good 1x12 amp with a standard guitar.

  • I had to finance it so I could afford getting it I didn't just go into the store and say, "Hey I've got $2000 here that I just want to blow on a really outrageous guitar what do you think will get me the most attention?" Also I didn't get an S Prestige I got the SV Prestige because it's the closest thing I could get to Herman Li's signature guitar without buying it.

  • does the Ibanez Wah has a true bypass?

  • I think so but if you want to know go onto their website at ibanez (dot) com

  • Thanks for the helpful video mate, I appreciate it, and ignore the fuckwits who have nothing better to do than be offensive.

  • nice review video!

  • this is you...

    this is the obvious...

This is you stating the obvious.

  • hey fucked up white boy, screw off if u are not interested in giving constructive feedback.

  • whats worth getting, crybaby 535q or the weeping demon?

  • I would suggest the Weeping Demon over the Cry Baby because you get a better range of sounds.

  • cheers. i been looking at it, its sick as man!

  • haha i love your descrpition lol

  • I checked out ur magic videos and it was AWESOME how did u do that stuff.... IT BLEW MY MIND when u made that card hover out of the deck like that!!!!!

  • thanks for the comment and most of the stuff I do is pretty easy to perform but some of the stuff is pretty hard but I like to have a challenge occasionally.

  • i like ur guitar

  • thanks for the comment and check out some of my magic videos I think you'll like some of them.

  • im thinking about getting an wheeping demon and what i seen in a review was that it was plasticy... i thought it was like steel. so am i wrong?

  • it is metal but there is some plastic on it like the actual pedal but the base is metal.

  • How can you not have a Marshall but you have a high end Ibanez?

  • because the Marshall amp that I want costs almost as much as my guitar and no it's not a gig amp.

  • do u have an idea how Herman li setup his WD-7 settings for Though the fire and flames ???

  • I actually heard he doesn't have that pedal anymore but that was just a rumor.

  • really ?? i just got the WD-7 and it my first wah pedal and i just wanted to know how to get a Dragonforce wah sound ...

  • yeah I have no clue I just know of the band I can't play any of their songs yet but if I find out anything I'll let you know.

  • alrite :D

  • aye i think its range fine at 5, the level at 10,the Q at 6, and the lo at 3 ... and he does use a other wah the Digitech Whammy he uses them both at the same time .. i think with the digitech he use the effect Major something :) oh and ur guitar is sick !!!

  • Hey dude, I have a WD-7, gotta say it's a top notch pedal! The extra travel it gives you compared to the mediocre travel on the Dunlop makes a world of difference!

One tip though, try to keep your guitar more straight up instead of laying it down like that (maybe sit up a bit more). It helps with your hand stance and picking coordination, if you keep doing it like you do you might unnescessarily overstretch your playing hand!

  • he uses the wd-7 and the digitech whammy pedal chained after one another and activated at the same time, theres some cool studio footage of him doing it in the studio you can find on youtube im sure

  • srry i ment to say i like the s over the sv :P

  • i think think the Ibanez S Prestige that the SV. I like the S more cuz of the locking nut and the ZR2 trem. Thats just me what do you think?

  • yeah that's one of the reasons I like the SV over the S another thing is that it's the closest to Herman Li's signature guitar without having to pay over $3000 for it. Another reason is that you can make it sound like almost any type of guitar you want it to because it can play in true duo so in other words you can play it from the humbucker or single coil modes. there's more reason but I'm running out of space to type now.

  • how much was your guitar?

  • I don't remember I think it was about $1500 or $1700

  • cool review, thankzz.... the Weeping Demon looks like better value for money....

  • Awesome review, nice job. I'm probably going for the Weeping Demon after watching a ton of videos.

Oh and thanks for making a review.

  • Cool vid, I was trying to choose between those two when I stumble upon this. Thanks for posting this!

  • No problem I was dedicating this for Dragonforce because they're coming to Vancouver in 9 days (which is September 21st, 2009) and I can't wait to see them because their opening band is Sonata Arctica and they're amazing. If you don't know them just look for a song they did called Paid In Full that's an amazing song.

  • I know both bands, they're stopping by toronto in October, Enjoy the show! I also just found a Digitech Whammy Pedal for $125 today, made my day! It;s such a sick pedal!

  • wow! only $125? thats a steal

  • yeah, i couldn't believe it when i saw it, it works perfectly too

  • hey, I play most genres from jazz to heavy metal and everything in between and I just want to know, would it be better to get a dunlop crybaby or an Ibanez weeping demon?

  • it's all personal preference but I think that the Weeping Demon is way better than the Crybaby but that's just my opinion you might like the Crybaby more than the Weeping Demon.

  • the weeping demon is like a morley bad horsie wah and a dunlop combined into one.... most people get the dunlop becuase of the brand name and they dont know much about the pedals... i personally love the weeping demon.

  • I just bought the ibanez wd-7 pedal today and it's pretty amazing!

  • yeee i just got mine today =) i love it the sound is amazing =)

  • BOOOOOMER!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Boomer? O SHI-

  • i doubt herman uses a custom one. its probably a rack one. u can control EVERYTHING on a rack one lol but the 535q is a good representation coz it has a load of sounds on it

  • i have that guitar!

  • do you have the same color or is it that other color?

  • again 5 stars

  • thanks but you don't need to tell me that.

  • Thanks, Dude! You just helped me decide to buy a Weeping Demon. They do sound better.

  • Yeah I was a little skeptical at first when I saw it but when I started playing it I couldn't imagine playing without it ever again.

  • hey, King. My Demon arrived in the mail today, thru Guitar Center. Dang. Sweeeeet.

  • Love that blue SV. Nice choice

  • Thanks I wanted to get a guitar that's close in playing style to Herman Li's without buying his signature guitar (I think his signature one costs about $3500 USD) so this one was the closest in playing style to his.

  • have one as well but i swapped the pups for dmarzios

  • wow pretty good

  • sounds cool

  • yeah they're pretty cool pedals but I wish I could figure out how Herman Li uses multiple pedals at once I think he might be using the Digitech Whammy 2 to achieve that but I could be wrong and I probably am.

  • yeah he is
