  • Mr wong very nice tequinique there but may i just add as a non self defense point but offensive point, if you do this correctly you have the chance to kick the outside of there leg which will make there leg turn inwards and hopefully put them off balance and making them fall allowing you to plan your next move correctly ( This is for a school bullying situation only)

  • Good move but not around here. When a man push other's chest, he'll standback. Whistle. Call all his swarm all over the place and aim countless guns, a few sparta knifes and some ping-pong bamb will be lit. May be, push & run will do better. Mongol proved that.

One more thing, isn't pushing is a sign of offensive? Walking close isn't offensive but pushing is and might have legal issue if things hit the court. "You push first" like that.

  • this is similar to wing chun

  • @12kamilol he has wing chun lessons on youtube also, but yes this is pak sao from wing chun. anybody can use it to block a straight punch

  • anybody try this stuff out?

  • @GKGeminiknight It works as well as most self does. I studied Jeet Kune Do many many years ago, Bruce taught use what ever worked the very best and quickest. I believe his main study was Wing Chun. No, I did not study under Bruce, I did from one of his students. His one inch punch was real, I mastered it when in my 20's, as Bruce was several years older and a giant at the time.

  • the videos are very good end helpfull for dangerous situations

  • tis is very gud 4 beginners... keep updating new lessons....

  • you are brilliant never stop makeing vids

  • I'm sorry, but i don't think, that this has so much to do with wing chun. The block is a pak sao, ok... BUT wing chun is based on principles and one of these is, that if the other guy leaves you have to follow him. And i don't think, that pushing have anything to do with wing chun. It's not enough to defend yourself, even to make the other guy more aggressive. In my opinion, it's better to learn what to do, if somebody wants to push you.@aster2251,a wing chun person would do the same...normally

  • Great!

  • hey i have this jacket

  • Thank you. Mr Wong.

I get beaten alot at school now i know how to self - defence myself

    Greetings from the Netherlands

  • @merijnlol If you say its enough they will laugh at you but if you attack first they will beat you,and when they attack you..you will beat them :P

  • @merijnlol lol, bullies are pretty different than an attacker on the street that wants your money. they just do it cause it's fun and it's easy. if you put up a little resistance , take the fun and easy out of it they'll leave you alone and pick on someone else insecure and physically weaker than them.

  • thx allootttttt

  • whats so great about wing chung? its a 2nd generation wu shu art, unlike all other martial arts that are already over the 5th gen lol

  • @aslankraw

wing chun is great because it is able to allow not so strong ppl to be able to defend themselves without using much strength. its usually based on speed and chain punches with good blocking techniques rather then curling up like a boxer. another good thing about wing chun is that, unlike the some of the other martial arts, its the few, like muay thai, that allows the user to be able to go to another movement very quickly if his first blow is already stopped.

  • @138wms

    what lesson

  • @138 wms Jiu Jitsu stomps what ever this is, if you tried to push a jiu jitsu person away he'd armdrag you and take you to the ground!

  • do not stop moving ur hands .... keep them in the middle of ur body and move around .... use ur shoulders as mush as possible .... do not move to fast or to much .... u will get tired.... make as if ur hands are circles .... use ur knees to block bottom attack ... use ur elbows in a slight downward jerk if some one swings below ur elbows .... basics .... master blocking before u try and be bruce lee u will get hit 70% less ... remember move slow so u do not tire :)

  • i do not understand as in how do you know if your opponents are gonna use a hook punch or a straight punch in order to block according to that

  • @Takerundefeatedmania you don't, you must study you opponents strokes

from there you can make a very good guess on what their next attack will be

  • I thank you very much for your help, and now I can properly defend myself from any threat.

  • is it me, or he keeps calling us foo?

  • NO!... :-(

tai chi chuan don´t work so much with this big distance...

  • Is this Tai Chi Chuan?

  • its feng shen do kung fu

  • is this somewhat tai chi?

  • this is combat tai chi

    maybe?

  • i don't think so, just some pretty basic self defense

  • i bet that lady in 1:19 in the background can fight.......

  • ya its great but its staged events. I want to see real-life action then ill see how effective it is.

  • If you don't move out of the way your gonna get a fist to the face

  • Has anyone esle noticed that Jim never speaks... he just takes the ultimate beating...

'Again, let me borrow you Jim... Yeah Jim... i gonna fuck you up good' !!!

    Master Wong is awesome

  • i hope Jim come up with his own video ....

    he a good student ..

  • haha! He does speak in the Master Wong Training Course videos though. he's actually quite funny. I suppose he must have a pretty laid back attitude cos of all the punishments he gets. lol

  • @nivarica if Jim doesnt help out, Master Wong will fuck him up

  • he said its for self deffence, not to bash people yet lol

  • I am very appreciative of all your videos and your effort in showing them to us here on youtube. Thank you

  • I admire they way he has set up his lessons in a building set of skills like putting the proper pieces of a puzzle together. We should all thank Master Wong for allowing us to benefit from his talent and skill. I have reviewed the Wing Chun and Kick Boxing, now the Self Defense. He is very good

  • yep ooooohh he is he is funny too

  • Yeah it is so important to get to a opponents blind-side (hard to comprehend when you first start training wing chun) because you are able to control his center, and destroy his foundation (legs, ankles, etc.). That's why the shifting in chum ku (sorry for the spelling) is so important to train. One good thing to know (learned this with tradional wing chun) is to block at a 45 degree angle, making it easier to intercept a strike coming at you. I love this art form!!!!!

  • Love Master Wong's lessons. Nice and simple, uncomplicated and applicable. I use some of his lessons at my class.

  • wow.. flabergast

  • notice how when he blocks that punch, he's following wing chun concepts........0o..........wing ftw (aikido is kewl too)

  • yea i see it too

  • All those online lessons coming from master wong are superb. Always building gradually up, and before you know it, you have built substantial skills. I followed the Wing Chun zraining, and it was great. So was kickboxing, and I am looking forward to what I will learn next.

    THX for posting

  • Thanks for the lesson!

  • i come back for master wong only .... i really miss wing chun lesson ... but this one better than kick boxing

  • first
