  • where are his gloves?

  • He's using a technique called Total Intravenous Anesthesia. Propofol is typically used to induce anesthesia and then once the patient is intubated they are given an anesthetic gas in combination with a muscle relaxant to maintain anesthesia.

  • if you get propofol, make sure that you have an anesthesiologist (MD) administer it. This drug isn't something that should be administered by a nurse (CRNA)......if something goes wrong, you really want an anesthesiologist present, not a nurse

  • Or a doctor?

Any doctor should be able to read an EKG or blood sturation, andone knows when someones not breathing!!

  • Whisper a little louder!

  • It seems that Propofol can be used for 2 purposes, as an anesthetic and to induce a sleep condition for patients ((if Im wrong please explain me)). More videos and information on Anesthesia are available at Symposier Site, look for a video named "Intubacion en Anestesia General", about an intubation for general anesthetic, visit Symposier Site.
