  • Amazing cover guys, great work. Extremely accurate on both keyboard and drums.

  • You actually feel the song. That's rare nowadays .... best cover I've ever seen!

  • good job!

  • chords please?

  • @jbest55 C# minor scale. I learned it by ear

  • Sad song, outstanding cover on all counts.

  • omg

  • i play along with u all the time man, nice job!

  • what kinda program / interface are you using to record to ur comupter. im jusut wondering about the audio not the visuals.

  • @SilverLeafvideos

    Cubase Le

  • Now Play CAROUSELAMBRA please D:

  • nice !

  • how did you make the swoosh effect and the howling dogs effect?

  • @MitjaShi

Just some sound effects on my keyboard. I used the pitch bend wheel for the howling dogs. I think it was just an electric guitar sound with the pitch bend!

  • @Phrase ok!

  • Dude seriously, nice job man! This was just fucking great.I really appreciate someone playing such an accurate version of No Quarter, which isn't an easy song to duplicate! Once again good job dude.

  • outstanding job Bro Keep up the great videos.

    Take care.

  • A++++++, i love to solo over this

  • Sounds GREAT. Definitely in the "GROOVE". I could listen to this all day.

  • should have made the soloing piano part thicker with reverb

  • dude this is an amazing cover. i'd love to play guitar with you to this lol

  • good performance, i reccomend that if possible, raise the LFO (wahwahwah) to about 3X what you have in this vid.

  • Awesome cover man! I really enjoyed it. Greetings from Argentina!

  • Is that a dark green Pearl Session Series rack tom?

  • @BillThrills321

Nope, it's a Pearl Masters MMX tom. It is dark green though (Emerald Mist finish)

The floor tom I used in this video was a Premier Artist Maple in Rosewood finish.

  • found this, paused it, and grabbed my les paul and played along.

  • Psycho EP baby. Juno G has been my best friend for about 5 years now.

  • Jesus man that was just amazing, I have the same drums set up as you with about 8 more cymbals and if you could post a drum lesson for a bunch of zeppelin videos it would not go un-apprieciated. Thanks man, killer job!

  • nice effort

  • I looked this up, didn't even realize it's from you Phrase! Great job!

  • haha great mann!! you are like a john paul bonham! rockkk!

  • Incredible, sir..that's all I can say!

  • WOW this is amazing - and my fave Zeppelin song too. Thank you.Bright blessings to you. Subscribed

  • Wow! That is a great cover. Well done :thumb:

  • Fantastic Job. I jammed along, as this is the only backing track for this song I could find. Great Cover. Thank you.

  • Best YouTube cover I've witnessed yet.

  • no matter what i search for keyboard wise this same guy comes up xD

  • good work !

  • masterpiece

  • LZ's music revealed a color in this world that no one realized even existed.

  • Your drums sound fantastic, and you sound great on them! Nicely done.

  • Guy's got chops. Definitely some chops indeed.

  • That drummer is rock solid in the pocket.

  • rushing the beat a bit early on, but otherwise gold

  • hell yeah

  • this is one of my favorites from Zeppelin as well. amazing work.

  • Pretty nice cover, definitely a great song.

  • i'm in love

    with this video

  • What a fantastic job. I just had a marlbrough 100 hanging out of my mouth, Les paul around my knees (I been a Jimmy Page wannabe since the eighties LOL) playing along to this in my studio.

What recording software are you using?

  • @RockingAOTSwirled

I use Cubase LE which I've found pretty decent and it comes free with various recording equipment such as my Alesis USB Multimix 16 mixer.

  • @Phrase great stuff. I did a cover of 'down by the seaside' I found a midi file, altered the drums, electric piano and bass as best I could and then layered on several guitar parts myself it sounds spot on. no vocals though as I would murder it with my singing hahahahaha. I used apple logic 9, I was doing a music production course at the time. I might post it on here one day. :-)

  • Is this a preset patch or .. do you know where i can download it? ;P

  • @AndreasSWF

Yeah it's called Physco EP, basically an electric piano (Rhodes style) with lots of Tremolo effect.

  • @Phrase Oh, thx. Figured it out.

  • you deserve more views...you even have the john paul hair cut...ha...good job! greetings from mexico!!!

  • That low C# was epic man! i wish my keyboard had that many octive's lol

  • @brian91145

This is just a 61 note keyboard, I had to transpose it to get the bass notes down an octave!

  • I really enjoy practicing to your video! I play guitar. I just wish the middle section was longer for the guitar solo! ;)

    Thanx, Tom

  • Fucking awesome! Best version I've seen! Excellent!

  • Nice Job. I also have a Juno G. What setting are you using?

  • @hoganbond

The sound is called Physco EP.

  • Who needs a band!!! lol Well done man, and what a great tune to do. No Quarter is the quintessential rock and roll song. Good Job.

  • thanks, I'm using this as a backing track, you should do a kashmir one!!!

  • Brilliant! Thanks!

  • wow....fukin amazing.

how did u learn no quarter?

  • I just worked it out by ear from the studio version. Check out the new collaboration version of this with guitar and vocals!

  • I immediately added this to my favourites. Now I see why I bought upgraded computer speakers!!! INCREDIBLE album cover on this LP!!!

  • AWESOME!!!!!! 5 Stars.. Thanks for doing this. One of my all time favorites!!

  • dude, no quarter is my favorite song ever, and u totally mastered it. this was awesome. great video, i wish i could play the keyboard just to play this. what interface did u use to record? im trying to get into recording myself.

  • I use Cubase Le on my windows Vista laptop. Alesis Multimix 16 USB mixer gives you up to 16 channels to record each mic to a different channel and only needs a single USB connection to your computer.

  • Great sound! What kind of keyboard/setup?

  • Its a Roland Juno G.

The sound used is called Physco EP.

  • man oh man... another one. you pulled it nicely... I hope you for the best my friend. TC

  • Wow Fraser, You are really talented!

    Nice!!!!!

  • Thanks Frank, you too!

    Misty Mountain Hop is awesome!

    Well worth the wait!

  • cool man im a big led zep fan you guys ROCK !

  • Awesome timing on the kit mate....Just awesome..Also the sound of the whole cover is spot on..

    Cheers.

  • Thanks, although I thought the timing was a bit sloppy (particularly the fill after the last verse which was a bit behind the beat lol)

  • awesome cover, great job my friend!

whos playing the guitar in the collab?

    100*

  • Andre (JaiminhoPagina) is doing this one, but I'd love to do a collab with you sometime too!!

PM me if you want to work on something!

  • yeah I get that.

I would love to work with you, I just have to finish pending stuff I have, including one collab with André.

    keep rockin'!

  • Thanks for all the comments guys!

  • nicely done :)

    Enjoyed that

  • this is a great cover, and I agree, a collab with defender would be cool, like his trampled underfoot cover, but I think WMG removed it along with some of his other videos sadly

  • you should do kashmir on keyboard and drums and collaborate with defenderofmankind, he has the best kashmir guitar cover, that would be cool!

  • freakin fronzo, u rock, te keyboard is amazing 2!!

  • where is the rhodes? :)

good cover, no quarter is one of the best

  • that was AWESOME~

I think you do a very convincing JPJ part; sounds awesome on that keyboard...

    Oh yeah and phenomenal drums

  • That piano solo is a pretty good take on jonesy!

  • awesome job guys ! thanks for this !

  • Excellent work!

  • Killer, you guys are hella cool!

    Die-no-might.

  • COOL! This has got to be one of my favorite Zeppelin songs.

  • this is Magic...

  • Excellent job ! I'll have a jam over it in my bedroom :)

  • Cool, that's why I uploaded it at this stage.

There are lots of guitarsts out there who like to play along with my videos!

  • PERFECT!!!

I am wondering who is the lucky guy who will add the guitar to this amazing work... XD

  • I wonder........lol

  • Awesome dude. I really enjoyed that.

  • great job fraser!!!

  • Thanks

  • Woooow! Amazing!

You need a Fog machine lol.

  • LOL, yes I agree!!!

My bedroom floor would look really cool with fog pouring onto it during the solo!!

  • my first drum teacher said I would be good If I played this song perfect

but he only taught me paradiddles and then left lol

  • LOL, paradiddles are worth learning for all sorts of drumming but learning to play music is the first thing I think most drummers should learn!

  • This is really, really good, Fraser. You're inspiring to watch. Great post!!! 5 stars (as usual).

  • Thanks!

  • wow that is some amazing stuff, it sounded just like zepp but without page and plant

  • Thank You!

  • another great led zepp song haha

  • this is too badass, i played along on guitar and it sounds amazing, and who are you collaborating with? i'm excited to see it

  • Thanks dude. Andre (JaiminhoPagina) wants to do the guitar parts. It should be cool once we have guitars and vocals.

  • sweet, Andre is amazing too! so this should be good, I can't wait to see it
