I think you got let down by your sound a lot here though, it comes through really splatty & undefined, are you perhaps scooping out the midrange too much?
@DoubleIntruder yeah, this recording didnt come out good. But it was recorded, so rather than waste the attempt, it was posted. You should see the redone version if you have not already
Damian didnt use any effects on this one, because the recording just didnt sound very good. Certain frequencies just cut through too much in the wrong way. However I still wanted to post it because I liked the shot and look, and the performance itself was solid.
I did throw on a bunch of effects to smooth out the sound. I dont recall exactly what I put on, I think I added flanger, delay, reverb, compressor, an additional eq and maybe even a little chorus. Hope that helps.
Bare in mind that all effects are post via software. For this particular one, I think I used Garage Band of all things to just quickly tweak it. Damian uses Ableton himself. Ill look to see if I still have the project I used to add the effects, they would still be on there.

UPDATE: Yeah, still have the project settings saved. I used compressor, reverb, flanger, and eq'd it a bit. Thats all.
