I must say, I am not sure how you got a 1 at solo and ensemble. the state score seems about right, but this is a very sloppy recording. it may be that this is not a professional recording by any means, but even so it was nowhere near a flawless performance. Intontation needs work, especially between the chords. the chords were not balanced or tuned. technically yall played everynote right, the rhythm was good. Im not trying to be mean its not bad for a young group just not a 1 rating performance
@sax9347 I understand your view point on this performance. We did not get a one. We got a two. The problem with this recording is that is was made with a flip cam on a very windy day and the first alto saxophone's keys were sticking.

we played that for solo & ensemble and got a 1. then went to state and got a 3!!

yes Prelude and Fugue in D Minor is a grade 1 ensemble.
