  • ACTUALLY, THIS CAME OUT IN 1980 BUT THIS WAS 100% DISCO -- AT ITS BEST! HAD ALL OF PATRICE'S ALBUMS. THIS GIRL WAS PURE DISCO FROM 1979 TO 1981. RIGHT ON TO THIS GREAT MUSIC!

  • "Look-Up" is by far my favorite of Patrice's songs ...

  • EVERY artist in the 80's is better than ANY artist nowadays... it's... the blessing of Time and Mother Earth in that period. There can be many talented and commercialized artists today... whatever they sing, they play, it's simple, empty and soulless because the world they are in is simple, empty and soulless... you can't help it - just open your ears.

  • Patrice is infinitely better than virtually any

    contemporary artist including Alicia Keys

    and India Arie.

  • Thanks for this posting. What a fascinating insight into the presentation of pop music in the early 1980s. l absolutely loved Patrice Rushen at the time and still think she's hard to beat - so versatile as a singer, musician and writer. And l thought this song in particular was fantastic, such an inspiring message while you dance and let it all go. Great song x

  • this is fantastic!!! i was truly in awe and in love with patrice rushen. i love this track and this l.p. which was in my opinion overlooked.

  • One of the greatest singers of all-time.
