  • this was posted on my birthday witch is comming up! :DD

  • Hehe, u said HOMO

  • da vueltas eternamente ¿¿¿

  • Sure is homo

  • Is the magnet polarised on it's side our it's face.

Plus can you use any electrical conducting wire that cannot be magnetised?

  • I -3 science

  • lol its so primitively bent into a cylindrical shape :D it's very fitting for the title. I love it, it works thumbs up :)

  • Very nice:)

  • Why do people always have to bring homo into everything?

  • ugly spiral

  • but will it blend?

  • lol

  • how long does it last?

  • @2011Roshea - till the battery runs down

  • ami me quema pero no me rueda

  • thats going to be the futures desk Christmas for the office haha

  • Dude, I've been trying to make this all night. I misunderstood, though - I thought the videos were using cell batteries, not neodymium magnet discs. Bullshit

  • Thumbs up if you're a guy and that sound reminds you of something!

  • Is that a regular magnet?

  • if you use a nail to hit the head of the battery then it won't fall out.

  • no homo

  • Cute :-) LM

  • Duracell, trusted everywhere

  • is it poseble to use a difrent set of a magnet

  • What if you want to rotate it in the other way?

  • @MrRkesh If you flip the battery upside down (with the positive side on the magnet), the coil will spin the other direction when it is placed onto the battery.

  • @atomicengineer or you can just flip the magnet around.

  • @MrRkesh I think you'd have to reverse the voltage/flip the battery?

  • @MrRkesh U kan't

  • try that with a car battery AND SEE IF YOU CAN GET THAT DEAD SHORT TO BLOW UP IN YOUR FACE

  • can u use a pipe cleaner because 1.i have a lot of pipe cleaners and 2.they are part wire

  • @YohhanLeeviwitz i haven't tried it, but i'm sure you could.

  • it is epic

  • Is this the thing girls have up in their... womanhood? :S

  • can u show me how?

  • its not a spiral for me l:P

  • dude sweet

  • I'm guessing that's a magnet on the bottom.

  • will it always spin to the right?

  • fake and gay

  • @DeltaMuffin lol are you retarded? this is the most primitive of motors, turbines, etc.

  • @DeltaMuffin your a retard

  • @DeltaMuffin its because you are a retard idiot

  • @DeltaMuffin Way to be another mindless RWJ drone, retard.

  • Please watch:

THE WORLD'S SIMPLEST TRANSMISSION for BICYCLE

  • @TABAGfrancis a monocycle? lol

  • @DeltaMuffin YOU'RE RIGHT: Everything you don't understand is a faker and homosexual...

Go back to school, if you try really hard you CAN pass 8th grade!

  • i wonder how fast you can get it going....make it so SUPER fast be cool to make it glow in the dark too lol

  • THIS WAS DONE IN MS PAINT I CAN TELL BY THE PIXELS

  • @99F Lol What? Ms Paint. Nah it was done by Notepad.

  • does it drain the battery?

  • @x10secsx yep

  • @x10secsx Of course it does.

Where do you think the energy to move this comes from?

  • @anonimystro12345 Roswell. No wait the Black sun dimension. Someone should make me one before I declare them a witch.

If a person could make this and get the spear od destiny they could control the world.

  • @x10secsx No. It is a perpetual motion machine.

  • I invented a homofobic motor once, it runs like hell if a gay person comes near it.

Then I invented a bipolar motor, it runs like hell on a can of soda and some candy, but often reverses or stops and then suddenly blows a fuse.

Then I invented a unipolar motor, but I am not sure where it went.

  • Best spiral wire EVAR!!!

  • wow, pretty nice photoshoping

  • @brendanyun You're a bit daft if you think this is shopped. Sit a battery on top of a magnet, coil wire, and try it yourself. It's basic physics, which sadly, most of you are badly ignorant of today. What you're seeing is Lorentz force in action. Same principle behind a mass driver.

  • LOLOLOLOL he said polar

  • que es lo que pone abajo de la pila??

  • @atomicengineer just bust open an old crappy drive, has a few really powerful ones in!

  • what happends if i use a 24volt battery? XD

  • mee cago en ti! gracias a tu video mi profesor me ha mandado a hacer un trabajo igual al tuyo¬¬ jajaja

  • I would be embarrassed to call my email 235 atomicengineer in this day and age of non radioactive solar energy. Please abandon your email.

  • @TheSolarmike and i'd be embarrassed by that comment if i were you. Please abandon pushing your holier than thou attitude on others. Non-radioactive age, are you really that dumb, have you not heard of NUCLEAR REACTORS.

  • little Johnny in 2nd grade:

Teacher: Johnny, whats your favorite thing?

    Johnny: A homopolar spiral.

Teacher: Okay, can you spell that?

Johnny: Well if thats the way you want it then my favorite thing is TV.

  • @bigtop432 ha, nice one

  • I short circuited the battery and a spark flew.

  • @TheSpike3000 it always short circuits when you do this...

  • @atomicengineer Why aren't magnetic and other cool motor's like this being used in producing renewable energy? Tell me that, atomicengineer

  • @immytown these? Well these are pretty poor, but everyone could be driving water powered vehicles by tomorrow if only a few certain people would get out of the way. >.>

  • @JunckiFilms did you go to college or uni for atomic engineering? It must have been difficult, i just finished my first year of renewable engineering at college...Are you 100% sure we could be driving these cars, and Are you talking about hygrogen fuel cells?

  • would this work if I use that 'standard' black magnet?

  • @tels2006 lol

  • if you put it so the wire ran straight to the battery it would be alot more powerfull than coiling it.

  • @ollieoniel Coiling it allows the wire to act as one pole of an electromagnetic system. A straight wire wouldn't do anything at all. No coil, perpendicular field rather than a round field that can interact with the permanent magnet by deflecting.

  • @SelkitFox check out Heinrich Lenz to see how it works

    the coil adds no force

  • There are only 3 parts - can't you figure it out? lol

  • make a tutorial make a tutorial!

  • cool ! very good video ;)

  • whats on the bottom?

  • an engine :D

  • @MrCpPenguin

    A magnet

  • a magnet

  • look its dancing lol

  • thats cool!!!!!!!!!

  • thats to easy

  • @notschembri

That's an awesome idea! How much do those things cost again?

  • Now we need someone to make a uber large scale version.

  • where i can get that magnet.... i need to buy it ???

  • get from computer Hardrives

  • Do you have to be a homo to use one ?

  • what wire is that copper or somethin else

  • yes it's copper.

  • its only a battery a magnet and a cable

    simple!!!!!

    for a scince fairXD

  • @animeandpankesithos and a magnet o.o

  • Thats Really Good But Why Does The Speed Gradually Increase??

  • @TheVesnois because it has mass. I it weren't have mass it would be able to jump to a constant speed.

  • because it's building up momentum.

  • @theVesnois: Yeah i thought it kept a constant speed?

  • your driving a volvo?

  • you said homo

  • Neodymium magnet

  • were do u get one?

  • I dunno

    Search the internet

  • HAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHA

  • loooool

  • whats the thing that the battery is standing on? just want to make sure, its a normal battery and the spiral is made out of copper?

  • ya...

    but thats a neodemian* magnent

*not sure if im spellin in correctly

  • LOL good for decorations ! XD

  • HAHA

  • oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo m qd d a 6

  • If a galaxy cannot spin forever, then we will never make something that can.

But if we can make some that lasts a lifetime then its worth it :D

  • why does a galazy need to spin? all we need to spin is Earth and the moon around the sun

  • haha, Yeah if it were that simple ;P

  • HOW the fuck did you do this ?

  • Under the battery is neodymium magnet ;)

  • What are you talking about? Are you saying that because humans "made" physics that it's flawed? Perhaps, but it has been proven many times over through experimentation. Perpetual motion suffers the same "made by humans" problem, but it has never been proven.

  • will this work with any conductive metal wire, or only copper?

  • make a video about how to do it

  • theory:

make a smaller version of this(using small earth magnets. bougt 100 of them on ebay for 10$, and a coin battery of the same size as the magnet). then, suspend it in a magnetic field(so it floats). next, attach a rubber loop to it, and to a small generator. should be almost-free energy on a small scale? make a larger scale and almost-free, and almost-endless(floating) energy?

  • Dont think so...first to build big scale would probably be pricey, second to suspend magnets and metals you either need specific types of metal or metals at freezing temperatures.

And this vid didnt show it but the battery runs out fast.

  • Of course. You are basically short-circuiting it...

  • Theory: People that think free-energy (perpetual motion, whatever) is possible do not understand physics.

  • Traditional physics dont apply to objects travelling at the speed of light (or faster) so who knows what we will discover! Maybe tomorrow :)

  • You'd think that would work. and that is a Hypothesis by the way, not a Theory, but that word has been abused so many times that it's just sad...

But it's kinda like the battery hooked to the generator that powers the generator.

You turn the generator to charge the battery, and then in turn the battery should power the generator.

Thing is you have to take in account of the energy loss. They did this little thing on myth busters.

As a Hypothesis it works, off the paper however...alas.

  • crank nock

  • why is the wire under the spired wire

  • no, its not overunity machine, no magnetic free energy, no antigravity device levitation, no time travel, no telepathy contact with ancient lost civelization but it is genuine!...

  • make a tut

  • Are you joking? It's just a rolled-up wire and a battery -_-

  • is that WESTERN DIGITAL hardrive in the background

  • the thing underneath the battery is a magnet, isnt it

  • OMG and the world is fighting over oil!!!

  • can this fly?

  • Needs more cowbell :P jk

  • lol

  • GIVE IT MORE JUICE!!

  • Drunken spiral

  • Who knows how they invented the copper wire?

  • Two jews fighting over a penny

  • imagin what you could do with a 9 volt battery

  • holy shit some people are so stupid, you CANT DO THIS WITH A 9V

  • It's been tested and as shown in the video and many other's it does work so get the facts right and think before commenting

  • and it's obvious that you don't have half of a brain, or else you'd know it would work.

  • so now you changed your mind?

Ps: i'm not trying to act "mighty and high"; more like trying to support a point.

  • o please please please please teach me how to make a video in photoshop!!

    moron -.-'

  • oh god, low life scum. Go to school or something...

  • everyone loves guys like you, its so funny to read comments like this. i bet you dont belive that man was on the moon. ;P

  • hehe nice

  • heh heh, he said homo, heh heh.

  • some people got way to much free time

  • Yes, and they watch videos with names like "World's Simplest Motor - Homopolar Spiral" and leave comments. ;)

  • Not a very good spiral

  • eso k es alanbre de cobre o k ma terial es??

  • dondehay de esos imanes??

  • does the strip of metal have to be copper?

  • brass.
