The Guardian newspaper in the UK recently printed charity director salarys - Save the Children Mike Aaronson £85,000 a year plus up from £82,002 the previous year

Amount in £s spent on chief exec's pay for every £1,000 of income = 0.77. Yes, that's nearly 1% of the entire money colelcted which should be going to help children.

This is why I do not give to charity. If you want to help people go directly there and give your time to know you are getting value.
