This sermon has one main problem. The Roman Catholic Church is not Mystery Babylon. In Revelation 11:8 we are informed that the great city is "where also our Lord was crucified". It is referring to Jerusalem. Judaism is the religion of the coming Antichrist. It is not Roman Catholicism. The RCC is a small part of the Mystery Babylon system of control by the Jews.
Does this dude know the KJV was translated by the Church of England (Anglican)? I know all of these inbred fundamental bigot Baptists hate the Anglican Church.
The Baptist church is one of the worst. There just may be a hand full of baptist members that are actually saved. Most are just going thru the motions. The pasters tell them they're OK as long as they keep coming and paying. And if one ever gets filled with the Spirit and speaks in tongue, Wow, he's the devil. No Thanks. What a hypocrite.
The first Baptists as a distinct denomination developed about 1606 in England out of a group of Seperatists/Puritans. These people had several leaders: John Smyth, Thomas Helwys and John Murton. They emigrated to the Netherlands to escape religious persecution.
i dont agree with the fact that most people now a days think that you need Seminary School to be a preacher or pastor yeah some will give you correct knowledge but now they decide to change their minds that you dont need the masoretic text and textus receptus alone the i believe that the jews in jerusalem preserved gods word so im not goin by what some found under a rock god preserved his word through the jews!!!!!
lyons094him, Do I detect some racism going on in your post?
There are some people who could skip a Seminary, but they are far and few between. Anderson needs it desperately. His grasp of the Bible is infantile (despite his memory skills), and his knowledge of church history is very poor.
Someone needs to know CHURCH HISTORY. All Christian Churches emerged from the Roman Catholic/Eastern Orthodox Church. I don`t think evil begot good. But they are Baptists, such a special church.
Of course this line of thinking assumes that Jesus established the "Catholic" Church and Peter was the 1st Pope and things have been ticking along the same since 33AD; which a quick read of Church History and the early church fathers easily topple this argument. This argument is also interesting given the fact that there were several churches established in the Bible BEFORE Paul ever went to Rome to establish the church there.
Unfortunately, his grasp of the Constitution isn't any better than his grasp of church history. He clearly doesn't understand the reformation. But he doesn't think he needs any formal education at a Seminary or Bible College. He's smarter than church scholars. This is why he consistently gets scripture wrong. He has no understanding of context. At at a minimum he needs hermeneutics 101. But his arrogance won't allow him to learn from others. He thinks he smarter than everyone else.
Fail. Fail. Steve, without the Holy Roman Catholic Church, you and your other splinter faction ecclesiastical groups would have no basis for the practice of what you call 'Church'. While no institution of man is perfect, you should respect where you came from, the Holy Roman Catholic Church.

This is very informative. I always wondered about the history of church, so now I know that when I start my church, it is gonna be a church that has Jesus at the helm and no other organization. I will preach the truth, similar to this pastor, yet he seems to take things a little to seriously, especially with the King James Bible. Come on pastor, it's not really wrong to study any bible, as long as it still professes Christ as the Messiah. I love your message, but please, lighten up dude.
This is a horrible distortion of church history, for the love of God read some proper histories, not slanderous lies created by some lunatic to impress his sheep
you should watch the sermon on why he only uses the kjv, then youll understand, i felt the same as you till yesterday when i saw that sermon. now i am kjv all the way, the other versions either drastically change, flat out omit, or put key verses concerning Christ's deity as a footnote. I read a great quote today, there is only 1 Christ, but many false Christs, 1 true church but many false churches, so why is it a hard stretch to believe 1 true bible and many false ones
But we can't really exclude things that are of God's either they are the ppl, the Holy Bible and the music. Even though some out there may or may not be true. The Bible does say that every [person] is righteous in their own eyes.
@MargeGood. I think you are talking to me. I never said that I was against the KJV or anything like that. I made the statement that the KJV was translated by the Church of England (Anglican) and I know how these Christian-Taliban Baptists hate the Anglican Church. I don't use the KJV because it does not have the 7 books of scripture the evil Protestant Reformer Martin Luther threw out. I use the Douay-Rheims Bible (Came out before the KJV)
saw a picture on internet of pope john paul second . praying to a mary statue and on the mary statue head was a small gold crown . john paul had crowned the mary statue queen
so the queen of heaven thing does fit what sanderson is saying

Over 1 hour on this? These talking points are not new, and have been addressed by both sides (Catholics & non-Catholics) repeatedly over the years.
What a bunch of fail. Geez, stick with the pro-Constitution stuff.

Well, the Baptist Church isn`t the best Church if you are looking for truth. I have learned that the hard way. Some can be VERY wacky.
