government health care doesnt work you pay outrageously high taxes for not that good of care. the system is very inefficient just picture the dmv and then an emergency room like that. in canada you can wait up to 10 hours or more in the emergency room

Its obvious that for-profit healthcare isnt reasonable and is in fact inhumane, but they insist that its the only way even with evidence to the contrary worldwide including the failure of our healthcare private system.

Conservatives and right wing ideologues always argue that there's always the free market solution when it comes to solving our crappy health care system. I consider privatizing health care, public utilities, and education a crime. Dealing with the bureaucracies of privatized predatory health insurance is a lot worse than dealing with the bureaucracies of government run health care. No system is perfect, but I'd still take my chances with the government.

But if there were a "free-maket" approach, I suspect it would have been tried....well if it still made money....well I mean as much money as this greed driven system.

I hope I get to see the day when my countrymen and women actually are willing to agree that all of us are deserving of health care.

I'm afraid I might not live that long though, because I can't get the tests needed to see if I still have cancer.

I agree, I don't think I will live long enough to see the day when America finally gets it's head out of their asses, and see healthcare as something everyone should get, rather than something only rich folks can have access to.
