This case is a Joke. I bought this case about 8 months ago. I have had to modify the case quite heavily to make the heat dissipate. Like attaching a 120mm fan to the disk drive bay to pull in air from the front, and cutting out harddrive holders to make room for more airflow and an additonal 120mm fan on the bottom.

This case is not good at all.. i have 6 HDD's and they overheat as there is only 1 fan for air intake! wasted money. this model was a failure for CoolerMAster. it killed 2 of my 6 HDDs because they overheated a loot! so i ordered CoolerMaster HAF 923. Trash this Cosmos 1000!
I gotta say the tower is great, cool and completely silent, my last case was a thermaltake xaser V wingo. comparing the noise levels is like comparing a steam engine train with a prius on electric drive.
the case was big enough to fit a coolermaster V8 which was great for overkill cooler. This is going to be great when I use it to make computations, specially during the summer.
Though the 3.5' floppy bay is an annoyance, I wish it was not riveted into the chassis,
PS. Great case, mine has 8 fans (inc graphics and chip) and it is is practically silent. Great build quality too. Can't see me needing a new case for years.
yep, in British English the word is actually spelled aluminium. first time I thought it was very weird when I first heard someone say the word aluminum... it sounds a little weird to me
I upgrade from an Antec 900 to this, talk about a huge difference. No noise at all. My only gripe is the lack of space behind the Mobo tray in order to hide cables. Surely have to rethink cable management. Requires extenders for your PSU if you want proper hidden cables.
These cases are tall though and if you use airflow beneath this case should be elevated above carpeting, on to a desk, to prevent additional dust etc...
Bought one today, amazing piece of kit! However, it would have been the cream on top if you guys added a more direct drive cooling system though! Still, beautiful case!
Damn I should get this case instead of Corsair Obsidian 800D, but to late :(

@Nefus1988
Why on earth would u want a Cosmos over an Obsidian 800 ? Obsidian's way better, not even compareble to cosmos
