  • Never mind SNP, it's a labour seat again!

  • And after watching this vid again I can only say that the Scots have only themselves to blame, for both our ills. Like I said, most of the Nu Labour government were Scottish. Scottish MPs' policies, Scottish MPs' fault.

  • @lukespencer91 LOL! Hindsight is wonderful!

  • NU LABOUR = SCUM SCUM SCUM SCUM SCUM SCUM SCUM !!!!

  • new labour has destroyed the UK and turned us against each other while giving our democracy to the unelected eurocrats, the SNP are not nationalists they are traitors along with the lib lab con!

  • 13 years of division , lies , deciet, and UTTER UTTER FAILURE!!!

FUCKIN SCUM THE LOT OF EM!

  • @theblackmafia71 yeah the bnp are utter scum : ) well said

  • fascist pigs, good riddence

  • good riddence

  • Only vote conservative if you have a short memory and forget how bad things were before 1997. I'm saddened that the British people have believed Cameron's media-led bottomless policies.

  • LIB DEM 2010

  • @mooresey13 they are even worse than Labour

  • New Labours 'achievements'

    * An illegal war in Iraq + a 9 year war in Afghanistan.

    * Tuition fees which locked the poor out of university.

    * A record divide between the rich & poor.

    * 2.5 million unemployed.

    * Less renewable, home produced energy than nearly every other developed nation.

    * Record patchwork privatisation in the NHS.

    * Proposals for spending tens of billions on Trident, ID cards & more war.

If every Labour voter voted Lib Dem, Clegg would have a massive majority.

    LIB DEM 2010

  • @janebusby

I bet you feel like a tit now. Clegg-mania was rather short-lived!

    SNP 2011!!

  • You are either too young, too stupid or too rich to understand what will happen if you are one of those idiots who thinks that the loss of 'New Labour' would result in a win. I honestly feel sorry for you... but then, if we do lose out and get a Tory government, you will have 5 years to feel sorry for yourselves too.

  • I grew up and went to school, sometimes, during the winter of discontent where people worked a 3 day week and the unions almost drove the UK into the ground.

Thatcher was a godsend and a much needed scalpel to the labours gangrenous cancer. The 80's and 90's weren't perfect, but were much better than the 70's. The tories made mistakes, but did not sell the people out to europe on a point of socialist principle, regardless of consequence.

  • @threepot900 No, the tories just sold off all our public commodities, and now they want to sell off our public services to private interests.

  • The Labour party has been a disaster for Britain.

  • Good bye Noo Laaaaaaaybah!

War criminal scum. Stick them all on trial in a kangaroo court. From the top of the party down to local party members. Hang them all for crimes of genocide and ethnic cleansing. New Labour should be banned.

    Vote BNP

  • GOODBYE SHITTY LABOUR

Paste title into bar: NEW LABOUR PUTTING PAEDOS OVER HEROES IN THE WAR ON TERROR

  • Are you guys mad? Labour has done good things for Scottish devolution, would a scottish parliment have happened under the conservatives? They'd take India back if they could...

  • HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA bye you fucking bunch of ratfucking lying stinking PC correct scum have a nice time in your next 100 years in opposition assholes

  • Hate this song as it reminds of that lying, jug-eared wanker who sang this in 1997 after winning the election.

  • all those silly celebrities from 1997 must feel like right fools now! Although a few of them were/are my heroes!!!

  • yh it is gonna be fucking brilliant , i urge everyone of you to vote and get labour out

  • @rwatson93 Britain today: Labour's lax morality has helped standards crash through the floor. Just look around you.

But people are truly waking up, not with just a little help from the Web.

Click my username or paste title into bar: THINGS CAN ONLY GET LABOUR - WHY THE 'PC' QUISLINGS WILL LOSE THE NEXT ELECTION (SPEECH)

  • @CRAIGMASON1971 And who replaced them?. Idiot.

  • Gordon Brown created the illusion of 'prosperity' by de-regulating banks and introducing individuals to mountains of debt. His promise 'no more boom and bust' gave the impression that borrowing carried little risk, which, as we have seen, proved to be completely untrue.

  • Vote BNP!

  • GOOOOOOOOOOO

  • With the current political climate, I would have expected New Labour clips to have comments dated less than 6 days ago. It seems New Labour aren't the only corrupt to the core org. YouTube is striding swiftly behind them. Hey, how many brown envelopes are being bunged into the owners of YouTube. Eh?

  • New labour has put us all in poverty - END OF

  • We now have another by-election coming, this time in Glasgow North East! Hopefully it will be another political earthquake!

This is the DECLINE & FALL of the BRITISH COMMONWEALTH...

By GAULEITERS of the NEW LABOUR CRIMINAL CRONIES...

GOOD PEOPLE have been BETRAYED & DECEIVED by NEW LABOUR!!!

The Scottish people will NEVER accept the BNP and their racist ways! It's you that needs to wake up and realise you're supporting racists you want to create mass murder people of other faiths, just like Hitler did!

  • Scotland to remain part of the UK

ABOLISH the useless Scottish Parliament, it is filled with deadbeat third-raters who wouldn't be fit to man the checkouts at the Co-Op in Bearsden

    SMASH nu labour

    SMASH the eu

  • nu labour is DEAD and only the funeral remains!

    SMASH nu labour

    SMASh the eu

  • The future is black . . . hurrah

Boasting Europe's largest oil and natural gas reserves, the North Sea is one of the world's key non-OPEC producing regions. Because of it, we're self-sufficient in energy; the UK's balance of payments is £3bn better off and our wealth as a nation is assured. Long may it continue!

  • Self sufficient..Ummh well please explain the gas pipe to Norway and other imports. Oil imports, falling production etc..Wind turbines popping up everywhere..

  • Labour are going to get crushed at the next election. By the SNP in Scotland, and the Conservative party in England. Whatever you do, vote against Labour. Socialism... Never again.

  • I really hope that the New Labour years will be over very soon.

Oh and as a Glaswegian, I DO NOT want Scotland to become independant.

Scotland is doing well as part of the United Kingom. Yes There are many things which I hate about the UK but being ruled by the SNP is worse! It's time people in Scotland stopped with the whole Braveheart mentality!

  • Get a grip ffs

I support SNP, but oh no look! the english!...fetch my claymore martha, lol

I support the SNP because its the only economically, politically and morally sound choice Scotlands people have been offered in hundreds of years

  • Well to be honest I voted for the SNP but Ive just lost faith in them.

And as for the economy Scotland has been gettin £30 Billion a year since devolution.

  • If anything im more convinced voting SNP was the right choice, I mean who could have predicted how the economoy was gonna go since they were voted in. And they have led us through it admirably. SSP is my party of choice, but i knew a vote for SNP would have more weight.

Oh and give the number quoting a rest, it means hee haw without seeing the whole picture.

How do you know £30bn a year is not shipments of cashew nuts and cheap hats.

  • I got the figure as Im studying HNC social sciences. I learned it in my politics class.

    Happy New Year Bro

  • Im sorry but wtf kind of answer is that?

You still havent said anything about what the feck the money is, where it comes from, who supplied it... nothing!

Anyway it dosent matter - however i do recommend you put a complaint in with your lecturer...hes got some pretty essential stuff still to teach you.

Q: whats the value of all post stamps sent from FYR Macadonia to Scotland

    A: £30bn

  • Goodbye and good riddance. Gordon just doesn't realise that people do not only dislike him they actually despise him and everything he says and stands for...Rise England rise

  • Stop the nit picking and grow up. If you dont want independence thats ok, but stop trying to manipulate reasons to stay stuck in an unequal partnership that drains this countries resources to pay for massive public funding of insstitutions in the south east. I dont hear you saying anything about those discrepencies!!

  • You would rather see Scotland go with nothing its due. Ive already said that scotland should take its slice of debt but we want our shar of assets too. Thats the bit you don't like, cause you wedded to an institution well past its sell by date. Of all the countries that have left the empire I don't see many wanting back in. No nations indendence was all all neatly costed and packaged, the USA, Australia, NZ, Cananda all faced the same hurdles and all have thrived away from the UK.

  • Brir reminder who made you judge and jury!! Overseas territories will indeed be part of the deal. We built them up and will have our fair share.

  • Who is 'we'? Unfortunately for you any referendum will not consult the rest of the UK. It will consult those of us who actually live here. So stay in the UK. It's the safe bet. AYE!!!

  • It will be up to Scotland to decide if it wants separation or not, however it will be the British government that must agree terms of such separation.

So when i said the word "We " i meant we as in the United Kingdom. There will be years of discussions about about the division will take place and who gets what. It takes a long time to split a country in the 21st century, especially one thats been together for 300 years.

Still the SNP have produced no clear plans on this issue.

  • Brit reminder you really are thought shy. All the countries of old empire became independent and they didnt wait around for the UK to work it all out for them. Becoming independent is a normal process and has already begun.

You belong steeped in the past, the empire is over. Move on, the future has to be controlling our own resources and govt.

  • Brit reminder, I agree that scotland needs to work out its share of things in the UK, so we should take our slcie of debt but we also want our slice of the armed services, embassies, overseas territories, including at least 10% of the british antartic. Also we want our fair share of the gold reserves and thats before we agree the division of gas and oil reserves. So I agree with you, the quicker the details get sorted the better.I think you invent barriers that can easily be removed.

  • New Scotland = FREE

  • Just found your video belatedly, nenutter84. It made me feel good - it's the video I wish I had made! All the best - the future is looking bright now. A great contribution to freedom.

  • more misty eyed unionist's! longing for the days of slavery, rickets & god save the unelected!

  • There are a couple of benefits but huge amount of problems and costs which the SNP simply ignore and fail to give an answer. their solution to everything is OIl... which wont last forever.

  • I hope the UK will break up. A Republic of England is what i want to see in my lifetime.

  • eeeeww England as a republic :O thta certainly not what the majority of people in England want. Besides which country would u want us to model? the USA where one man is both head of state and head of government and has all the power? Perhaps the state of Israel? where their former president was investigated for rape.

All very well attacking the current system, the alternatives are hardly perfect. The UK breaking up would be bad for all parts of this United Kingdom. INCLUDING England

  • Well done to the People in Glasgow East who voted for the SNP and gave a clear message to Gordon Brown that he and New Labour are not wanted. I'm English and i hope that Scotland will declare Independence and the UK will break up. Hopefully after Brown and New Labour are kicked out the Monarchy will follow as well!

  • Underkill, if you care about England you are going the wrong way to help it by encouraging these separatists. Breaking up the UK would have a huge impact on all our economies not to mention our way of life.

Breaking up the UK is as radical and stupid as Cornwall wanting "independence".The Union jack is recognized around the world, it still flys on many flags such as Australias and NZs. To break apart this union is to help destroy our history. It will NOT be allowed to happen.

  • What about Scotland's history prior to 1707?

    Is that not important?

The fact of the matter is that the 'Union' as an outdated concept of the days of Empire. No country liberated from British 'rule' ever asked to come back.

We will vote with our feet again, the British Government will be forced to accept the decision, the Scottish Government will adhere to the will of the people, and Grand Old Britannia will crumble. For Scotland!

  • sorry but Scotland was not a colony of the Empire. Scotland was part of Britain and it was the BRITISH Empire not an English one.

Ofcourse Scottish history is important just as English history is important aswell as both our cultures after 1707. We still manage to have different cultures despite being a single nation

Scotlands most successful times have been during its union with England. Lets not forget it was a Scottish King who became king of England which started the process of unification

  • I wasn't suggesting that Scotland was a colony of the Empire, no apology is required for that part of your trio of rants.

I wouldn't count 'success' as being dubbed the 'sick man' of Europe. The fact is that Scotland is a 'region' under current constitutional arrangements. As such our needs are consistently overlooked and sold out (think London 2012). And Oil. Big deal numpty.Western Europes most oil rich nation, and paying the most for it in tax? Naw 'BritishReminder', I am sorry for you

  • You can feel sorry for me all you like Nutter, i will feel sorry for the Scottish separatists when they are defeated in the referendum if and when one is held. Again the majority of Scottish voters continue to vote for parties which support the union between England and Scotland. There is certainly no majority for Scottish separation.

The SNP have failed to detail their plans on statehood. Every serious question asked is simply responded to by "Scottish oil". it wont last forever sadly.

  • your right when you say the oil won't last for ever! so when it runs out and london decides to let scotland go free! what will we have? in other words what happens when england decides to go independent? do we wait for our neighbour to decide our childrens future? or do we get out with what we know we have! no one disputes scotland can't make it on her own! the question is what is the future of the uk, and as the lisbon treaty signed away that soverinty! are we stronger being a independent voice

  • Lmao... When the oil does run out people of England wont suddenly decide Scotland is worthless and want to kick them out of the United Kingdom or have "independence". English morons who claim they want independence are worse than the Scottish Nationalist but they are a very small minority.

Lets not forget Scotland was part of the United Kingdom for about 250 years before all that North Sea oil was discovered. Its not like we joined together to "steal ur oil".

Scotland is stronger in the UK

  • no it was a militry decision! strength in unity! get more troops and close a vunerable front down! then we went stealing together around the world! all well and goodfor 200 years! but for the last 100 years there has been a drift apart! if there had not been 2 world wars! scotland probably would have had home rule in the thirty's or forties! and would have went independent in the sixties! it is inevatability that it will be independent by 2025! and mistyeyed unionism will not save it!

  • Oil production figures from the north sea. 1999 1,028 million barrels 2000 945 2001 875 2002 870 2003 796 2004 715 2005 635 2006 574 2007 576 2008 539 2009 509 ( projected ) and falling by 5% a year after that.. Source malcolm wicks govt minister reply.
  • your right? we need to save money!money can be saved by closing down westminster and the scotland office! there you go, i,ve just saved scotland at least 100 million a year! can i help you with anything else caller?

  • Lol..Yes and the 100million is just the expenses amount.. Its about time MPs pension were reduced in line with other public servants.. also..each MP has an average pension pot worth about £1 million..646 MPs our savings are growing..

  • Following the discovery earlier this year of the Buzzard field, Scotland's oil and gas sector, which has played such a major role in our economy since the early 1970s, has effectively doubled its life span, compared to what was originally anticipated. All the more remarkable when you consider that 20 years ago people were confidently predicting North Sea oil would run out by the year 2000!

  • @BritishReminder

Check your facts - Scotland was starved into submission by the alien acts (what we now call trade embargos) enforced by England. Scotland was sold to the English Crown by a handful of wealthy nobles in return for English lands. Riots took place all across Scotland for years! God Save the Queen refers to crushing rebellious Scots...

Is it not time we got our country back? Why should we be ruled by another nation?

  • @herbiemann87 Scotland gets propped up by English taxes, along with most of the ex-Nu Labour government in London being made up of Scots (including BOTH ex PMs Blair and Brown). Now, who's got the better deal here? And don't make an example of North Sea Oil, because most of those rigs are way out in international waters.

  • @Bubo25 Sorry, but how can Scotland be propped up by English taxes, when English taxes can't even keep England afloat? The deficit in England alone is about £155bn.

  • @globaltraveller It's hard to keep England afloat when your taxes are going toward propping up things like RBS and Scottish students in their free Unis (all done by Scottish MPs in Westminster). I'd much prefer if we got independence from Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland rather than the other way round. Oh, and Gordon Brown (a Scot) was one of the main causes for us being £155bn in dept, as well as Tony Blair (another Scot) taking us to war (very, very expensive) in the Middle East.

  • The people of the Nu Labour party represent the most suspicious and thoroughly disgusting people on the planet. All of them are elitist career driven war mongerors whose purpose it is to fill their bellies with food and everyone can go to hell. It is time we stopped voting and bring in a revolution!

  • I still can't believe it's taken this long for the British people to realise that Labour have been taking the piss. Please don't ever fall for it again!

  • I could never get over it myself. I thought it was beyond my worse nightmares. I knew what they'd be like from day 1 and have never ever voted for them.

Makes me realise how many naive people are out there.

  • Eugenics of New Labour **Must Watch Video**

    Tony Blair on BBC News

    watch?v=h6xbKFlawOk

  • Maggie Thatchers policies look left wing compared to nulabours

  • Not sure if the end of Union will be a good or bad thing, but extermination of Labour will be very good to see

  • Great stuff, the end of a crap political party, a party I never voted for to start with

  • Congratulations to the SNP on their outstanding victory there in Glasgow East! Well deserved!

  • It was voter fraud everyone knows it.

  • Vote for John Mason. Vote SNP on July 24th. It's time the east end of Glasgow had a better future free from labour and with an MP who will actually stand up for them and will put the peoples intrests first and stand up to Gordon Brown and his useless government!!

  • I hope all those Labour voters in Glasgow East take a good look at their beloved parties 'work-for-dole' plans before they mark their paper!

  • Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.

  • Great video again, did you see comment "the"scottish.I wonder where he,s from.

  • You do know that most of the Scottish would prefer not to be independant, for one simple and valid reason which is that the scottish gov. spends a fuck load of money (more than 50% of GDP) and how do you think they will continue to do that when grants from Westminster stop coming in. Oil???? That's running out (it peaked 10 years ago).

  • If oil is running out, then why is Scotland subsidising the rest of the UK to the tune of £1.6bn this year (official govt figures). Why do the North Sea oil companies predict 100 years of more production - and with oil prices as high as they are there is more REVENUE to come from the North Sea than ever before?

BTW you are also wrong on the Public Spending to GDP ratio. Government Spending accounts for only 39% of Scotland's GDP. The figure for the rest of the UK is 43%.

  • Yes scotland is FINALLY paying more back to the treasury than it receives. I did'nt hear you complaining in the 1990s when oil was closer to 10$ a barrel and you were receiving WAY more than you paid in. Only recently has scotland being adding to the treasury, and that is due to the high prices of oil. Oil may very well be drilled for the next 100 years, but on what scale is the real question, not very much is the answer.

  • Nope. Scotland ran an ENORMOUS surplus during the 1980s and early 1990s. Indeed the government admitted in 1997, that between 1979 and 1996, Scotland paid £23bn more in taxes than it received in spending. In today's prices that equates to about £40bn all told.

Sure Scotland may have slipped into deficit in the late 90s (more than compensated for by the enormous surplus), but even The Economist (magazine) admitted recently that even then Scotland had a lower deficit than the UK as a whole.

  • Also the price of oil is far more of an economic determinant of revenue than quantity is. That is why in revenue terms I said before that there is more revenue to come from North Sea oil than has went before.

But Scotland doesn't need oil to be independent. We have a varied and diversified economy from financial services to biotechnology and a huge potential in the energies of the future. A potential that will be exploited to Scotland's benefit this time - not anyone else's.

  • If, excluding oil, Scotlands economy is so wonderful, then howcomes they would be in debt (which they already heavily are, more so than the UK gov.) without oil revenues, which is only managing them to be in a surplus due to a very high price of the stuff. As for your theory that production will increase as time goes by, everyone knows that production peaked in 1999 and has declined steadily since then, with not very much left for the future. I'm not disagreeing that the economy of scotland is

  • As I said, Scotland's non-oil debts are smaller proportionally than those of the rest of the UK as The Economist showed. My theory isn't the production will increase, but the price will remain very high. The high price more than mitigating the decline in production, in revenue terms. That makes sense; the more scarce a resource becomes, the greater its market price. The UK Offshore Operators Association (UKOOA)the Government agree with this and predict rapidly rising revenue from the North Sea.

  • I thought you meant that production would increase but I agree that the price will remain high for a while to come, maybe providing a continuation of the surplus. If Scotland did become independant, then it wouldn't just be schools and hospitals etc. that would need to be paid for , foreign aid, defence, EU payments, foreign embassies etc would also need to be included, that 1.6 billion pounds probably wouldn't cover all that aswell.

  • Scotland already pays its share for Embassies, the Navy, foreign aid etc. Such a share is already implicit in Scotland's fiscal accounts. The difference being, that with independence, Scotland would be able to decide whether it spent a grossly inflated amount of money on nuclear weapons, or sophisticated desert combat equipment, that it won't need. Or even whether it should have a grand palace as an Embassy or not. In short, we won't be spending as if we were part of a declining world power.

  • BTW could you direct me to the issue of the economist that states these facts, I order it weekly also. I have last weeks issue infront of me and it states that production has fallen by 40% since 1999, and that most of the big companies are moving away from the North Sea for easier ones. I think that prices would have to get QUITE a bit higher to make Scotland sustainable even in the near future, unless somehow the declining production can be reversed.

  • The issue 3 weeks ago.

According to Shell and UKOOA North Sea production will last decades in their recent report, with significant new developments recently such as the Buzzard Field coming on stream. Indeed the recent documentary on the issue by the BBC "Truth lies Oil and Scotland" (available on Youtube) had Oil Chief execs saying that there was as much oil left in the North Sea than had been extracted. And with even higher prices than ever before......

  • Yes as the economist states, there is a poop load of oil left in the North Sea, 16 to 25 billion barrels!!, but the problem is not the amount of oil but rather 'it is becoming harder to extract' (the economist) with most new discoveries containing 'less than 50M barrels of oil'.

  • Yes, and as the price rises, it is becomes increasingly profitable for oil companies to drill in the marginal and difficult areas (The Economist), which they are doing, which is why new developments are coming on stream providing more revenue and more production.

And again, I repeat, the most important variable is PRICE when it comes to determining revenue. The price ain't gonna be going down any time soon (it'll go up still further), again made clear by "The Economist".

  • I don't suppose we will get to the bottom of this, especially considering we can't paste links on youtube. I found your website and it does support your argument on public spending. That was the only one I found, and many more support my view of it being closer to half.

  • type in 'public spending to GDP ratio scotland'

on google. I would link you but it doesnt work for some reason. The top three will do fine. I also heard it on newsnight but failed to find a link. It proves that scottish government spending is about 50%

  • I did Google and I got directed to one of the links where I get my 39% from - GERS 2006/07 - the official National Statistics Government publication. Scotland's total GDP: £127.330bn. Total public spending £49.9bn = 39%.

  • I would have to disagree with these statisitcs, siting scotlands economy as 86.3bn pounds which, funnily enough is also from the office of national statistics, other sources include the financial times and newsnight, not even Alex Samond himself disagrees with this, just what it means as he tries to downplay the importance (I saw his response to that question put to him by jeremy paxman).

  • I'm only quoting the figures as published on 20th June 2008, by the Government Expenditure and Revenue (Scotland) 2006-07 analysis - the most authoratative and factual look at expenditure and revenue in Scotland. It is available on the Scottish Government website - and provides you with all the facts you might want to know.

PS Scotland's GDP hasn't been anywhere near £86bn since at least 2001. The economy has expanded since that time.

  • Another website supporting my facts is that of friendsofscotland (unable to post link for some reason) just type in 'scotland's total GDP nominal' on google.

  • If you type in "scotland gdp nominal", the first link is "Government Expenditure and Revenue (Scotland) 2006/07"!! Amazing. But not so amazing, because it is THE publication with most academic and authoratative weight.

  • I have given you plenty of links supporting my current belief of scotlands economy size (86.3bn pounds), so far I havent received one from you. The One you gave me doesn't clearly say its size (as far as I'm aware, it was rather large but I looked carefully and couldn't find any mention of the size of the economy) all it gives is its current spending (among other thing), which it says to be 49.9bn pounds, which by itself doesn't show how much % that is in comparison to the size of the economy.

  • It is very clear to me, or anyone reading the statistical publication. For the avoidance of doubt this is the most important and authoratative Statistical publication on the state of Scotland's economy. In section 3 entitled "Scotland's public sector accounts", there is a table two thirds of the way down the page, showing clearly in 2006/07 Scotland's GDP was £127bn. Total public sector spending in Scotland was £49.9bn. 49.9bn/127bn = 39%.

  • On the oil front, that's been declining for years (nealy halved in less than a decade) and even if this is currently being offset by higher prices i recommed you read last weeks episode of the economist were it describes north sea oil as 'ebbing' and 'record oil prices fail to halt the north seas decline'.

  • not diversified, just simply that it can't sustain itself without westminster and that for everyones benefit it would be best to stay unified, as challenging times lay ahead and the best way to deal with them is together rather than against each other.

  • Yes, Scotland's economy is very diversified, more so than 30 years ago and has a far better base to operate from than many of its neighbours. On the question of sustainability, if Scotland requires economic aid from Westminster to sustain itself like some poor African colony, then what on earth does that say about the effect of the UK's economic policies on Scotland? In fact if this were the case then it is a far more potent reason for dissolving the UK from a Scottish persepctive than oil is.

  • Thank you for your insightful contribution to the debate on Scotland's constitutional future. You talk of 'the' Scottish. I presume you do not live here. Yet you seem able to voice opinion for the people who do? Scotland has survived as a Nation within the monolthic 'Great British Empire' for only 3 hundred years. You count how many years 'the Scottish' lived independently.

  • I lived in Scotland but recently moved down to England. All I was doing was stating the facts, and even if you want independance, that doesn't mean the majority do, why else don't you think they're holding an referendum. Besides, all the polls suggest most people are in favour of keeping the union.

  • who else can we vote for realistically? conservative, no thanks. im going to vote socialist.

  • Well your Man Tommy's come out and said he wouldn't mind the SNP winning the seat. I would heed his advice. It's time for a change.

  • new labour are simply 95 percent capitlist with small elements of socialism which isn't enough in my opinion

  • But this isn't going to be won by the Socialists, or Solidarity - as both have conceeded. It's a 2 horse race between Labour and the SNP.

  • John Mason SNP for the win!

  • For a better future for Glasgow East, Vote for John Mason! Vote SNP on July 24th!

  • And the Scottish Patriots keep up the momentum of Scottish Self Determination. Wendy's gone, Nicoles gone, and Brown is simply a dead man walking. The struggle isnt finished until our country is free.Saor Alba

  • This video shows exactly what we're all thinking! I've been campaigning for the SNP in Glasgow East and their are a lot of people who say they are simply fed up with Labour and are going to vote SNP, many for the first time ever!

We are witnissing the end of Labour in Scotland, and a new beginning for Scotland with the SNP!
