  • The definition of foreign aid: The transfer of money from poor people in rich countries to rich people in poor countries.

  • the first time i heard that the US did an airstrike over Yemen was a week after the "christmas terror" attack was when Ron Paul mentioned it on CNN and he was being sushed by reptilianiod Ben Stein and i here it again by stefbot. If these accusations are true alone, Obama should be impeached or tried as a war criminal. But the funny thing is this has been going on for 9 years now..... oh the secrecy.....ain't life just keen?

  • @Fallinldols: The US was founded over 200 hundred years ago... not 9 years ago. This has been going on since Jeffersons war in the Barbary and before. And in the world for thousands of years before that, in Rome, Greece and before.

  • @DreadLaw2 well of coarse i was talking about fake CIA Al Qaeda but yeah the principals are the same.

  • @Fallinldols

they are true! it was reported in europe (germany, greece, france).

The first thing YOU should do is to impeach your TV and "news"paper.

  • @amandacarrie321 I'm staying in Ghana, Accra...NGO's, UN, WFP, IMF and rest start from purchase of Toyota Landcruisers to project managers, rent of houses for 1500 - 2000 USD/month, salaries into foreign accounts, inflation of local economy with grants, pumping "support" for resource concessions and later politely "re-denominating" countries currency at the expense most vulnerable.

  • Few charts, pics and statistics would create much better impact for the viewers. Just some constructive feedback to make show better.

  • I saw my family from Australia for the holidays, and they were shocked at how ridiculous the "security measures" at the airport were, and they flew in BEFORE this incident.....

I think it's important to communicate with people from other countries if for no other reason than to get an outside perspective on your country. My cousins couldn't believe the amount of stupidity in American media and advertising.......

  • It's gotten to the point that when I see a news headline, I'm automatically looking for the part of the government's agenda it's serving......

This aforementioned incident is going to KILL the airline industry...... as if it needs help declining. People are only going to play these silly games for so long until they just stop flying (assuming it's not necessary for their work or whatever).

  • This form of reciprocal aid between the US and other countries in "foreign aid" is a blight upon humanity as we try to move forward in the 21st century.

  • True but when was the last time a Canadian lobbied his government to invade another country over oil?

  • well Canada is apart of this illigal war aswell.

  • Sometimes we need to play ball with the bully next door. Btw our involvement ends in a few months.

  • @Mahoivlich until a fake terrorist attack arises and we extend the contract.

  • Indeed...it seems pretty evident that something is very wrong when money and guns are sent to obviously corrupt third world governments year after year with very little progress....very good analogy that it's like a farmer growing poor and hungry people in exchange for more aid.

  • AWESOME!!!!!

  • I will also add that despite how the Chinese are absolutely despised by some Nigerians, their sort of "neo-colonialist" approach toward Africa has been far superior in places like Nigeria (and Sudan). They have been closer to a "freer" trade with this approach. I will not call it "free" trade because coercion and force is implied with ANY government. We should be able to trade freely for the resources rather than with the supposed altruism that extends from our "benevolent" foreign aid.

  • I think the crux of this debate is the absolutely wretched trade that the Yemeni, Nigerians, and Americans (we tax slaves) are getting for this foreign aid and weapons sales to these governments. What is the value of an automatic rifle compared to what can be done with a 55-gallon barrel of oil? That barrel of oil clearly can provide a great deal of wealth by the value of work it can perform, far exceeding the (relative) value of a gun--but the oil won't kill you.

  • Its always a source of giggles for me when someone says "We must fight them over there, so we don't have to fight them here".

Some of this attitude I think comes from some sort of teenage memory - "lets have the fight at your place, so we don't have to fight at my place and break my mom's fine china". The apparent assumption is the "terrorists" are going to respond with "oh! okay.. see you in Afghanistan and Iraq".

  • If you can't participate in a civil discussion, go back to posting on 4chan you Deviantfag.

  • I think the correct term for foreign aid is AFDC Aid to Friendly Dictatorial Countries.

  • If you think that if folks really knew where their oil was coming from and the real price being paid for it, they would demand any type of change we are kidding ourselves. Ask an American who drives a hummer to give it up and you will see how little folks care about who bleeds to fill their tank.

  • I am going to delete 90% of my subscriptions in the new year. I'm bored of them all, most say nothing, and moan a lot!

However yours I would never delete, for I like the cut of your jib sir!

  • haha Thank you so much for your very kind words, and happy new year to you! :)

  • You continue to talk about Al Qaeda. Are you controlled opposition? Because it's seems impossible that you would not know basic verifiable facts about Al Qaeda.

  • I would be happy to know more, please feel free to send me an e-mail with some additional information, thank you so much for posting!

  • @israelandersonvideo Well considering that the only thing he said about Al Qaeda was that they didn't do it it seems strange to claim he's controlled opposition.

  • You doubt that Al Qaeda had anything to do with it??

Ummm.... you do know that Al Qaeda does not, nor ever has, existed. Right?

  • What I notice from you obsessed militant atheists is that you're more pious than any fundamentalist Christian, and you see every religious person as a "fundy" because without hardcore religious person, you wouldnt have food for your obsession. Anyway, have fun with your obsession

  • this kid has a lotta hate to give out for free, how nice

  • I guess fundy means fundamentalist. So If you call it Christmas instead of winter soltice or whatever, you're a fundamentalist Christian huh? That's not a rational thought, that's your paranoia

You looney militant atheists live in your own demented world...of shit

  • Roachenator: I totally agree. People shouldn't have to feel ashamed of calling it Christmas. The vast majority of people in the US celebrate Christmas, not winter solstice.

  • I don't think that was what he was getting at. Christmas was originally invented to share a common holiday with the pagans that celebrated winter solstice. This helped them integrate better with the Christians after being "conquered"

It has little to do with, or is anywhere near the time of Christ's birth. It is just celebrated as such.

In any event, Stef is an athiest.

  • I wish all 3rd World charity muggers could see this video..It's so sad to see goverments pervert people natural care for the less well off .

  • 100 percent yes. Great work, again!

  • Apparently you don't understand the history of Christmas.

  • lol stefan plz change the music at the start of ur video. it is too dramatic.

  • Al Qaeda actually did claim credit for the crotch bomber.

Not that this fact detracts from your point, in the least.

  • Come on man. Al Qaeda is make believe.

Al Qaeda in Arabic means "The Database." It got it's name from a database of names (assets) assembled by the CIA during the Russian/Afgan conflict.

It is a fictional group created to make you scared. Fear is a powerful weapon and a tool used by many tyrannical governments to control society.

Just look at who has benefited. Look at the control grab taking place. Pretty soon you will need to get strip searched to fly.

  • The notion that this guy had a faulty explosive device is ridiculous. Add to that the fact that he just sat there and let it severely burn his leg... they probably rendered him half brain dead before he even got to the port. And witnesses stated that he was lead onto the plane by a man who was let pass by security... this young guy didn't even have passport and / or ticket to get on plane, and only small baggage (device) for such long trip.

  • The entire interview he was being shadowed by a person or persons back and to side of camera; it is blatantly obvious. And anyone whose had burns like that knows that you wouldn't even be shaking your hand around like he did multiple times throughout the interview; he wasn't favoring it all; normal movement alone would painful. This was false flag to give the govts reason to start using these new scanners in 'ports and wherever / whatever other devices they've got in the pipeline.

  • Stef excellent

the only comment I wish to add is

There is no al qaeda, it is a controlled al qaeda.

That guy on the plane was a setup, there are reports he boarded with no passport, where was the air marshal. It all stinks to high heaven. Now you will have to have sex with a new security procedure to fly. Less freedoms, less ability to travel, more of your wealth in aid of securing resources for globalist.

A storms a coming, us or them.

  • 500 Billion in aid stolen

are you sure of that figure.

  • @northpal2 I have read a figure of around $380 billion from the EFCC Nigeria. I'm not sure if that figure was adjusted for inflation over the 40+ year study, so it could be worth $500 billion today. Needless to say, it's a lot of money either way. By the way, it's not just aid money. It's oil revenue, IMF loans, aid and other export, trade and tax revenues as well.

  • unbelievable, these globalists crooks have us paying for their world wide extortion rackets.

  • LOL, the story of the poor people living in the third world countries, an "an Al Qaeda fighter is crawling on their leg while they are 1 inch above the grave".

    yet how sad...

  • I love the intro.

Isn't it amazing how humanity perverts everything to serve his own means.

  • Comment removed

  • won't let me post

  • I don't get you... I have posted a number of books for you to read on your channel and you're here being a dick because I have a different opinion.

    Our exchange is over.

  • Great video Stef. I would just make one factual correction. Yemen is not actually in Africa. Its on the Arabian peninsula. Other than that your analysis was spot on though.

  • Ah I see where this is going. Look, google works both ways, there are a number of articles and authors that have written extensive books on this. While I needn't contend with western articles on charges against communism (simply because the polarization is in abundance and there is evidence that I support) you yourself might want to read something apart from the current stockpile of pro-capitalist articles on google.

It'll probably take about 5 minutes to get to a library or find one on goog

  • That's interesting, didn't you give me an estimate without stating sources?

I guess we have to operate on different terms right? And i'd appreciate if you'd tone down the arrogance, because I am deadly serious. Accusing me of trolling isn't going to lead to a discussion worth pursuing.

  • Still quite a tame number as opposed to its counterpart. Even if others simply will attribute deaths and sarvation to other causes as if Capitalism doesn't result in death, starvation or impoverishment.

  • Actually Africans had the wheel long before the "western world" went in there and as for "reality"... I have no idea how the development of feudalism improved our lives...

  • I heard my world view change! Thx Stef.

  • Unfortunately I think it is progressing just as they planned. Time to make a choice.

  • I wonder, if you read on the news that your hometown was blown to smithereens and see that the media is saying because they were terrorists, even though it's not true, and everyone believes it. Everyone you loved, died, and you know you'll never even get back at those who did it. Wouldn't you too want to blow up the world in revenge? I can see how the righteous hate could take over a person.

Oh man, now I feel sorry for the terrorist.

  • excellent clip.

  • Possibly your most powerful post yet - 5 Stars

  • Hey Stef, for your upcoming series on foreign aid, there's a good source called 'Probe International' and a book called 'Odious Debts' that you should check out. They've been studying and criticizing foreign aid for a long time.

  • Thanks!

  • I can understand how people think that the 2004 election was rigged as well, but there were only 2 voters where I worked at the time who voted against Bush! I have spoken to lot's of people who voted for Bush the second time around! People are just that conditioned!

  • I'm just glad that latest terrorist attack [ALLEGEDLY!] wasn't someone trying to light a stick of dynamite shoved up his own ASS.

Can you imagine what the government would have required from us during new updated screenings?

  • Terrorism, is what you give to those who are not incahootz with your wavelength or what you recieve by a source who is unwilling to honor their own honor and in the process force you to reassess your wavelengths.

All computers are made in China,

All computers are made in C hina,

All computers are highly censored in China.

You are not in China, but your computer was made in China.

    Happy New Year.

  • @PsyogiBottoms That is exactly what I think every time I hear them say Al Qaeda on TV!! Even those who have been informed about the US training Al CIAda, they seem to forget and go back to the "official" story! I knew how fucked up the average American was when they re-elected Bush! Peace!

  • How much longer do we have to put up with this? I seriously have had enough and have ideas about getting out of this world.. I wish there was somewhere to go, free from government corruption and the insanity it brings.

There seems to be only one way out i know of.

  • Joining the Free State Project?

  • Yes, if Washington can't solve problems A FEW MILES AWAY, how the hell can they solve them thousands of miles away! The glaring fatal flaw in democracy is that it doesn't ensure wise leadership. I tend to think this is why it's so rare in history. So few Americans can even think rationally. It's an issue of intelligence. Education can't teach people to think. It often just makes dolts like Bush Jr. think he's a genie cause he went to Yale.

  • touche

  • The Belgian colonists arrived around 1916 and left in 1962. While one could argue that the colonists exacerbated the problem, they hardly created it. And the worst of the genocide occurred decades after the colonists withdrew. My point is that the problems that exist on the African continent are much more complex than simply the negative impact Western powers have had.

  • The Belgians were in Africa long before 1916

  • Yes, but I'm speaking of Ruanda johnycannuk, Ruanda. Rwanda, was an independent monarchy until the Germans annexed it in 1899. Belgium seized Rwanda and Burundi from Germany in 1916.

  • Well I'd be giving westerners far too much credit if I were to blame all of Africa's ills upon the west (that's why I didn't do that). Quite frankly the western bourgeois and their lower class minions aren't as good at human chess as most people give them credit for.

My only point is that they created more problems for us than "solutions" and history shows this.

  • Excellent Video!

  • Hi Stefan: I enjoy listening to your perspectives, and alternate interpretation of events, but question your objectivity. Trouble in Africa existed long before colonial/ US meddling. The extremes of black-on-black violence can not be explained away as simply as the "evil" influence of the West (Rwandan genocide comes to mind). I respect your ability to dissect and interpret, but your biases slant your analysis excessively.

  • I'm struggling to see your point. The fact remains that "black on black violence" to put it in your terms is a problem exacerbated by anyone who buys more guns to oppress more people. It happened to be the US providing the funding in the relatively short period of history to which you refer. You know the history of a larger problem and refer to other acts of violence, then opt to draw a conclusion of bias. There is a very large chunk of thought missing - bias is an odd accusation to throw

  • Hello hazy: To restate my point; it is biased to examine/ explain every issue on the African continent through the filter of Western Imperialism/ Colonization. I'm not arguing that it was not detrimental in many ways. I'm simply saying that using it at a universal explanation denies or minimizes the other forces in play, and overlooks the complexities of the continent.

  • 10 out of 10 stef!

  • great presentation! i have suspected this for many years about foreign aid. thank you for this.

  • I don't even know what Al Qaeda means...no one can possibly know with certainty who or what it incorporates except an excuse for a government power grab.

  • communism is younger then capitalism

and it still has a huge death toll for its young age

  • Define your terms, I.E. "Capitalism" and "Communism". I could lash out but I'm getting tired of the rage. Make a case that central State planning creates prosperity and that un-coerced individual human action destroys persons and property.

  • Why would you lash out? I'm not actually proposing communism I'm just pointing out that from my experiences as an actual African and historian, capitalism hasn't been as benign as most think it has.

Seems ike I've sort of insulted a holy cow in here. Some forum....

  • Now I don't think I need to make a case that central state planning creates prosperity. It undoubtedly does, it's just the trade-off results in some other form of misery, limitation of rights, or theft of some kind. However individual human action destroys persons and property everyday. It's what a majority of people in jail are in jail for...

What is this celebratory nonsense that people are carebears and completely harmless when on the track of egoism?

  • >Now I don't think I need to make a case that central state planning creates prosperity. It undoubtedly does

I think you do. ts not a self evident assertion.

  • Well I thought the 500+ years of recorded history would have been sufficient, after all state planning has has created some prosperity SOMEWHERE at SOMETIME at ONEPOINT or another. It is self evident because Stefan Molyneux has for years spoke as the state as a predatory. Someone or some indidivuals are prospering from it in some form. I use that as a crude example but if you give me your definition of "prosperity" I will probably be able to give a retaliation that will suffice.

  • Whoops sorry I made a mistake: It isn't self evident but there is enough evidence to suggest that some prosperity is garnered from state planning. The arguments I've seen from Stef and the other anarchists on Stefs site seem to mostly be to show that state planning is LESS prosperous but not unprosperous.

Use of violence within a geographic area has made the state in almost every country undisputably prosperous. State planning has made millions of Chinese move from poverty to the middle class

  • Sorry to put such a large burdeon of proof on you. We may disagree, but I hope you are not put off by any vitrol spit your way.

Stef tries to be kind a respectful, and so here on his channel so will I.

I think that we live in a succession of states, makes it very difficult to see how our lives would be in the case of no state. There is few or little controls, parallel earths, that we can look at.

The whole point Stef is on about, about everything, is that we would be better off with out 1

  • Slavery isn't capitalism. Greed isn't capitalism. Seeking resources isn't capitalism.

What you're referring to is blatant mercantilism, with governments seeking to line their pockets with bloody money. Kinda the same as in Soviet Russia.

  • @bawokoroma Where to begin.

    1) Slavery is not capitalism. Life, Liberty, Property, are the triad of natural rights under liberty or 'capitalism'.

    2) Slavery pre-existed Africa before Europeans 'discovered' it. Indeed still exists. Human life is exceedingly cheap in some places. It was only when Europe, with emphasis on natural rights blatantly conquered Africa and Mid East, that Slavery began to be extinguished on the 'open' market of the world.

  • 1) I never said slavery IS capitalism, but a particular type of slavery was due to capitalism. Your triad coincides with my point that capitalism does not benefit the majority since those attributes you mentioned are either personal or limited in their quantity. 2)I never said slavery didn't exist in Africa (I bet you've been waiting to get that off your chest) before western interference. However chattel enslavement on the levels rout by both Arab merchantislism and Western capitalism didn't.

  • Do you know who Stalin was.

  • Stefan, this was great analysis by you. Thank you. I feel sad and helpless.

  • I get the impression that you think that al-Qaeda is somehow different than or separate from the CIA. al-Qaeda is the brain child of the CIA. It is wholly a CIA construct, fully owned, operated and funded by that agency. The Nigerian bomber was simply a crude but effective and inexpensive flash event. Cost, near zero. Effect, wide ranging.

  • Happy Holidays to you and your family, Stefan!

If 'Al Quaeda' trained that punk, then I start to have doubts on Obama's capability to keep the terrorism alive and to keep the citizens afraid of it. Bush was doing it just wonderful.

Nigeria is the eighth most populous country in the world. The US government can't control them.

I love your (5 sec of) pronunciation starting with 03:36 ! Wikus Van De Merwe, are you becoming one of them?:-)

Keep it up! The logic of common sense is setting us free

  • Stef, Al Qaida claimed the attack...

  • @RoyvanKeulen

    What if Alqaeda claimed it?

That doesn't prove anything. "Alqaeda" could very well be all actors cooperating with the US govt.

  • By that logic, was the crutch bomb also a bunch of special effects? Ofcourse not! Don't confuse the overly used term 'terrorist' with the non-existence of terrorism!

Look up the details of the Al Qaida claim and you will see that this attempted terrorist attack was a response to US actions.

Questioning things is good, because you won't find the full truth otherwise, but if you question everything, then you are left without any truth whatsoever.

  • "Look up the details of the Al Qaida claim and you will see that this attempted terrorist attack was a response to US actions."

So I would bomb country X, kill civilians from country X but use my media to say I killed terrorists, then have my terrorist infiltrators send messages to some weak minded individual from country X so he carries out an attack, then have actors claiming the attack and saying it was justified because of my killing of civilians from country X.

This is so easy to do.
