Im telling my friends that Im going to the appalachian mountains for 22 days and they're like... that sucks!! HAH yeah right I am so hyped Im watching documentaries on the appalachian trail I am getting more and more excited as the days pass
I'm going to one in Maine. I've already gone to one in Alaska and it was insanly fun. Pretty beautiful their to. Word of advice BRING BUG SPRAY! At night bugs are horrible.
haha ours was 4.2 miles, but I had to run 5.2 miles because my instructor sent me a mile the wrong way, and he caught up to me in a truck to tell me so! haha I still won the race =)
LOL...Shit killed me! Hikin like crazy. One day we hiked for 12hours. 2 or 3 mountains, My feet were killin me! Rock climbin was pretty cool. I've never rock climbed 600feet in day. Oh well, I love the OB
Outward Bound totally changed my life (9 years ago)... It really toughened me up, which actually was a big part in helping me beat cancer last year -- right after I got out of college. Thanks, it really was an AMAZING experience!

Went on 23 day program 30 years ago last month. Last week I tied two bowlines, that was learned, for a wooden rope swing I hung for our grandchilden.
