  • This show used to run along with "Clarissa", "Rugrats" and "Blossom" on Nickelodeon in Germany. Some day the whole station just disappeared and the shows with it.

    I really loved it.

  • Go on my page for the reunion show!!!!

  • I used to loved this show!!

  • Lil Pete drying his tongue in protest.

Big Pete staring at "King of the Road's" daughter.

Mom finding the perfect spot to piss.

    Mom's Plate = Mom's Plate

Dad looking for other "King of the Road" dad.

    Ellen laughing at Big Pete.

Artie - "The strongest man... in the world!"

    "Petunia" dancing.

  • I used to watched this show, Then I took an arrow in the knee

  • Used to watch this whenever it was on! Wish it still aired :)

  • PETUNIA MOTHERFUCKERS

  • This show was great..nick back in the day was the best

  • May the "Golden Age of Nickelodeon" R.I.P. (1980-1996).

  • ....continue.... There was Rugrats, Ren & Stimpy, Doug, Rocko's Modern Life, Aah!; Real Monters, Salute Your Shorts, The Secret World of Alex Mac, Are You Afraid of the Dark?, Land of the Lost Clarissa Explains It All, among other numerous classics. As for game shows, there was Legends of the Hidden Temple, Double Dare, GUTS, Finders Keepers, Nick Arcade, etc.. I won't name them all since there's simply too many of them ~ LOL! I'm sure the true 90's kids out there will always remember them.

  • I'm an 80's baby and a 90's kid (born in 1985 to exact but grew up as a kid mostly during the 90's). I was 8 years old when this incredible series premiered as a main staple for Nickelodeon in 93'. I feel so glad and privileged that I was fortunate enough to have experienced/lived through when Nickelodeon was at its' prime. The "Golden Age of Nickelodeon" ended after this show aired its' last episode in 12-28-1996. Nickelodeon had such a splendid array of great shows.

  • Do you remember Pete and Pete? YOU DON'T.

  • I like how he has an enemies with villain names like Pitstain, or openface hahah, for some reason i always remember my enemies having nicknames though so I guess that's why I liked the show so much.

  • This show was borderline poetic.

  • ...i only have two things to say....welcome back...the 90,s are all that

  • I always watched tapes and reruns of old shows when I was growing up. :]

  • The anthem of childhood.

  • whoa can you say 1998 throwback, good times, when I was careless and my family was still a family and nothing was a big deal. :( Damn how times have changed.

  • now this is an intro

  • Man, back in the day :')

  • Has anyone actually listened to the lyrics?

    "Hey smiling strange

    You're looking happily deranged

Can you settle to shoot me?

Or have you picked your target yet"

Its about Sandy Scheuer, a college student who was shot by the US National Guard during the Kent State riot of 1970.

  • "ew bye"

  • YouTube = the closest we'll ever get to a time machine. Hello My Childhood!

  • Miro la juventud de ahora y me llega a dar lastima

  • wwwwaaawwww, yo los mirava cuando tenia 5 años, y hoy tengo 20, jaja. que recuerdos.

  • hahahaha artie

  • Forgot how great the theme song was to this show...

  • Just kiddin

  • Hellz yea

  • =)

  • damn i forgot about this show! haha:)

  • @skeesh1285 How could you forget ANY of the Nickelodeon greats ? Pete and Pete, Doug, Rugrats, Are You Afraid of the Dark, Guts, Salute Your Shorts, Hey Dude, Alex Mack, Allen Strange, Kablam, Hey Arnold, Angry Beavers, Ren and Stimpy, All That, Clarissa, the list just goes on and on. The amount of great content for kids was just overwhelming in the late 80' and all throughout the 90's. I truly feel sorry for kids nowadays who missed out on all these shows.

  • Make you wanna go back to the 90's

  • And Petunia hahahahaha

  • AWE man I miss the grunge era :')

  • man this show brings back memories i miss the 90's

  • The 90's. When kids actually did stuff & went on adventures.

  • @FilmSpartan Without getting questioned by the police.

  • @FilmSpartan pete & pete reunion show on my page!

  • @FilmSpartan and didn't just park it all day in front of a game system, even though we had them!!! ours was the last generation to play outside....RIP swing-sets, creeking, scavenger hunts.....etc etc etc etc etc...not to mention how much music itself has declined. :'(

  • @FilmSpartan Nope... I still stayed in the house playing NES and Sega.

  • @bsdude010

    haha nice comment :)

  • Was anyone else waiting for the "Pop Up Video" bubbles to start popping up? LOL I miss all this! Pete & Pete, Salute Your Shorts, All That, Kablam, Aaahh! Real Monsters... Etc... They need a channel dedicated to all the 90's Nickelodeon series :o)

  • @ReggieGurl04 hell ya they do, man those shows bring back memories! back in elementary school:)

  • totally forgot bout artie lol

  • ehm .... Artie?

  • you nostalgia you lose

  • I LOOOOOOVE IT

  • when I was a kid I felt identified with the characters cause they where normal kids, now they only show hyperactive weirdos running around thinking that they are funny.

  • they should cancel hey dude and put this on or make the '90's are all that a half hour longer

  • The up all night flashlight tag episode was epic. Almost as much as the adult swim episode.

  • My dad hated all these shows when I was growing up...who cares what my dad thinks!

  • After a few years looking I finally found the house in the intro/first season.

  • Thats a badass song

  • Holy crap what a flashback.

  • Artie Was Awesome!!!

  • So why isnt this on 90's are all that on teen nick. I raise a vote!

  • Epic. No other words for it.

  • the dad looked like he was tryin to rub one out not trying to get caught

  • Omg

  • The Older Pete = Jesse Eisenberg

  • Lol Artie always seemed alittle, um off

  • this theme song is sooooo 90's

  • this is when nick was the shit damn i was like 10 or 11 when this show was on hey remember wiener ville

  • awwww mannn i used to love this show

  • My heart hurts from nostalgia. I remember I didn't like this show but, it brings back so many memories.

  • Never noticed as a kid but pete look blazed as fuck.

  • @tbhaver I never noticed but your dick is really small. you buttfucking faggot. Im gonna rape your mouth so good

  • @chrisz71 Just type in Polaris Hey Sandy lyrics in google and you should be good.

  • Mom..... Mom's plate LOL she looks like the woman from "The sound of Music" XD

  • No decade will ever be as cool as the 1990's was!

  • @hornick18 90's was great yes

  • @hornick18

I dunno, I think the 2090's are going to be pretty sick.

  • @FirelordRoku touché

  • @FirelordRoku Think you'll be around for then

  • @MrMegas2 I'll be 96 if I am alive in 2090, but hey, my great grandfather was 106, and HE was a nineties kid, from the 1890's. My great great grandma was 103 when I was born and my other great grandma was 102 or so. All of my grandparents are alive and in their 80s, and most of my relatives live well into their nineties. Long life runs in the family I guess.

  • @hornick18 ...for you.

  • Ah 90's, how I miss thee.

  • omg i remenbers thats gingers LOL

  • I can so see this turning into a Kid Cudi mix

  • I miss 90's music

  • mom's steel plate

  • Is this the show that had a kid named Papercut who made knives out of paper?

  • @onexero1 oh yea it was...that was a good episode

  • Polaris is (was) awesome. Their only album (which was originally self titled) is now out of print, but it's basically the soundtrack to whole show, so if you buy the "music from the adventures of Pete and pete" your basically getting their only album. They were also originally in a band called American Legion who were also great, and now the band members are Frank Black's (the pixies) backing band. Ironic due in part cause the pixies were supposed to be the band during the intro.

  • @jdugmar American Legion= miracle legion

  • Watch this intro again with this in mind, and tell me if you agree: Pete and Pete were the first hipsters of our generation. Indie bands opening for them, flannel hats, ironic tattoos. Tell me I'm wrong.

  • just hearing this song makes me want to live the 90's all over again

  • All I could ever remember was Artie, and I was about three or four when this was on TV, and Artie made an impression because I likened him to Ernest (You Know What I mean, Vern?), except Artie was a little more kickass, as I remember. Does anyone have old episodes so I can start appreciating this show?

  • Everything had its own identity in the 90s. Now im 23. Is it me or did The 90s definitely had a bigger and better catalog from music to TV.

  • who sings this song?

  • @jemmytaveras Polaris the song is called Hey Sandy

  • Awww! The 90"s, Great !

  • What is the name of this band ???

  • Funny as a kid I didint care for this show but as an adult I really enjoy watching old ep's online

  • ah...Good times here bruh!

  • I LOVED this show. i forgot all about "mom's plate" and "petunia". this show ran from about when i was 10 - 13 or so, making me the perfect audience. i look at kid shows now and am just so saddened by how bad they are and worse so because the kids watching it don't realize.

  • hey does someone nows a tv show the it us to be in nick with a girl the had a note book and come pare people with animals if some one nows please tell me

  • @amj6897 Yes! Those were the three best Nick shows.

  • Best intro ever!

  • I hate how many people forgot about this show I was a kid and I saw this.

  • when gingers were cool

  • Once 2000 came around all nickelodeon shows turned to shit thank god for you tube so i can watch them again.

  • @therage198911 yeah alot of shows changed to shit after 2000 the only good one after 2000 was drake and josh the others were crap

  • = u Too bad I was born in the late 90's.

  • THIS show, Are you afraid of the dark, all that, salute your shorts, AHHHHHHHHHHH nick was so amazing back then. This song, as crazy as it is, is the most awesome one.

  • This theme is what made me LOVE rock music! Can I have a plaid shirt and some Doc Martens please?

  • ARTIE!

  • I learned that Teen Nick (I think that's the name of the channel) shows a block of 90s shows, and I've seen commercials advertising it that included this show and many others from that time - BUT, all they seem to show in that block is All That, Keenan and Kel, Clarissa Explains it All and Doug - and then they repeat that same block. Do they actually show this sometime or is it the same 4 shows?

  • @Billinois78 I think the block they have now is temporary, to see if they get good enough ratings to bring in the other shows or even to have their own network. They actually started showing Hey Arnold a couple days ago.

  • @Billinois78 they are coming right now they are seeing if it well do any good and if so more shows well come soon

  • could sumbody please tell me wut band this was

  • @yungkidnf Polaris

  • I forgot how cute Ellen was

  • Oh man, this show was indie before indie was indie. Soooo cool.

  • @lightsoul007 Uh no its more like indie is soo 90s. this granola shit was a dime a dozen back then.

  • I was so hopelessly in love with Ellen at age 7.

  • I miss watching this on TV with my younger sister and brother. We had a TV we could take outside and slept outside - we would watch Pete and Pete under the stars - count shooting stars and then go to bed. Ah, good times. I mention Pete and Pete to my younger sister and she just says she loved those times.

  • I use to LOVE this show!!

  • Television will NEVER be the SAME. I'm just glad I was born in 1987. Enough time to experience this show on television and now have fond memories of it.

  • long before "malcom in the middle" was this great show !!!!!!!!

  • i was always a little bit scared to watch this show idk why its just seemed wierd...but i always wanted a hat like pete till this day

  • Aah...Back in the nineties, we could have songs about war as theme songs on kids shows and we'd never notice. Thank you Polaris for adding even more magic to my childhood that I wouldn't be able to pick up on until fifteen years later...

  • Back when the main characters didn't sing the theme. I miss the 90's.

  • @DeltaLead65 Heh, except for Will Smith.

  • @num1Jaysta That's one exception. lol Oh, and Salute Your Shorts, too.

  • What are the characters behind the Petes, parents, and Nona doing now?

  • @EgaoNoGenki Danny Tamberelli is in a band called Jounce, and if Michael Maronna and Michelle Trachtenburg are both still acting. Maronna has been in some music videos as of late. Don't know about the parents.

  • this is fucking awesome!

  • i've recently began watching this show so i cant say it feels nostalgic but it has a youth like wonder that reminds me how awesome being a kid was, shows nowadays would consider this odd by their standards which its a shame how shallow Nick and most tv has become, nothing on right now connects with me like this show has nor is it trying to be gimmicky like it is now, it is sincere

  • Mom's Plate and Petunia...ahhh the good old days

  • I am Artie... The Strongest man!!!! In the woooorld!!!!!!

  • I miss this time in Nick history *sigh* Such amazing shows that were actually funny and a new concept. These days, it's just dumb cartoon after dramatic teenybopper soap opera after 14 year old wannabe pop star :( I miss you and love you, 90's Nickelodeon. You'll always have a place in my heart.

  • I was around 3 -5 when this show was out I vaugley remember the images and such, and the music. I grew up on rugrats and doug and kenan and kel and all that.

  • I seriously want this song on my ipod lol it takes me straight back to my childhood.

  • @Lubbylove89 I actually have this song in mp3 format. If you want it, just let me know.

  • @ssjup81 I just got it on my ipod lol but thanks! :)

  • I'm so glad I grew up in the 90's. This show was one of the great ones. Nick had such a legacy back then

  • @12roses8 Exactly!!!!!!! That 90s' Are All That block they're doing, they need to show it in the morning if not the afternoon instead of doing it at midnight. You know what I mean!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I had such a crush on Big Pete!

  • @amylynn122 Me too! I saw the first season at Best Buy for $27.99

  • AHHHHhhhhhh..... I just nostalgia'd everywhere.

  • 90's was indeed a glorious time.

  • FUU thiis takes me baack sOoo hardcore!!! xD

  • great show...but gah u talk about a weird ass show...i mean that effing artie guy??? dude used to always creep me out

  • This is when nick was MUST SEE tv! Their shows were awesome & takes me back 2 my childhood. I remember all the gr8t shows my brother & me, carissa explains it all, hey dude, are you afraid of the dark! Oh man!

  • 1990s nick>2000s

  • I was only 8 years old when I first saw this show in 1993. It was a really good show.

  • @yeshmayn i was there too!! sadly missed the show but damn what a weekend!!

  • damn... i missed these days...after skool watched it every day......newskool suxx

  • Oh wow. I used to watch this all the time as a kid. *is now 24* It's insane how fast time flies by and how the shows you grow up with are now considered "old".

  • I was around12 years old when I used to watch this show, my English is better now, but I still don't anderstand the lyrics of this song.

  • i miss this part of my life, good old 90s i will never forget you....22

  • it was great being a kid in the 90s
