People make me laugh by saying shit about the US market Mugen. Even if it's not as fast as the JDM Mugen, it still a masterpiece with the whole exclusive body kit from Mugen and the wheels and the exhaust which make you gain some HP. The suspension where also modified.
If the same 2008 US Mugen where available only in Europe, americans would cry why Honda dont import it.
And let me tell you something: the rare US Mugen will be a great collector in 10-15 years like the RR.

I drive an old v8 mustang which ive modified and i like honda so im not biast. hondas are really good cars. especially civics and the vtec engine is very high tech. the build quality on these is so good for there price. hardly any wind noise at high speed. this mugen sounds amazing.

actually i just got one but i didn't send it to the us,i sent it to the Philippines for my vacation car,its pretty awsome i just came back from Philippines and its pretty quick too,since it has the s2000 engine,but your right,the si is shitty,it has the same power as the standard just body,im grabbing the mugen si thou,i'm going to swap the motor from Honda them selves's since i have a friend that works there,so I'll be getting the H20A engine,I wish the K20A,but the si is all we got...dammit...

naw this mugen has much better parts the engine puts out about 240 hp....the regular mugen puts out 197hp...and as u can see it has different body accesories like the lights and it has the steering wheel on the right side
USDM Mugen Civic Si uses the same K20Z motor in the regular Si only thing thats different about it is the aerodynamic and suspension set-up, so it's no where near the Civic Mugen RR.
only 300 mugen rr's where ever made and they where all sold out in 10 minutes, yes mate i think does every one else wish they had one.But lets not forget that this car is further tuned from the original FD2 civic type r made in japan, and that is a outstanding overall car and that could perform near enough the same this mugen rr if some money was spent on it.

Why would you want to add forced induction to this engine. You'd be better off going that route with the Si. High-compression motors don't like boost as much. Yeah, you could do it...but you are just causing more strain on an already strung-out engine.

no the blue mugen is an si and it only comes in blue. this is a type rr and it isn't available to the states

yeah soon. not now, thus proving my statement that they are not currently available to the united states. and me owning an si has no relevance to this conversation...
and by the way, the mugen si has more than 197 hp because of the new exhaust. they just chose not to re-dyno the car

naw this mugen has much better parts the engine puts out about 240 hp....the regular mugen puts out 197hp...and as u can see it has different body accesories like the lights and it has the steering wheel on the right side

USDM Mugen Civic Si uses the same K20Z motor in the regular Si only thing thats different about it is the aerodynamic and suspension set-up, so it's no where near the Civic Mugen RR.

only 300 mugen rr's where ever made and they where all sold out in 10 minutes, yes mate i think does every one else wish they had one.But lets not forget that this car is further tuned from the original FD2 civic type r made in japan, and that is a outstanding overall car and that could perform near enough the same this mugen rr if some money was spent on it.

i love civic and i cant wait to see a type rr in america.... honda rules and look 260 hp w no turbo... just imagine that engine w turbo... will smoke an evo or sti any day

Why would you want to add forced induction to this engine. You'd be better off going that route with the Si. High-compression motors don't like boost as much. Yeah, you could do it...but you are just causing more strain on an already strung-out engine.
